Jimin's powerful yet grafeful solo = stunning🔥🔥🔥, but, like JHope, began as a teen street free-style poppin'/hip-hop dancer, both won many battles, in their towns,both took dance classes, Jimin has 4 dif. Martial arts skills & sports skills, does the hardest stunts/aerials, JHope =liquid moves+ sharp isolations = 🔥🔥.. .Both RM & Suga at 11 heard Epik High's hip-hop & as young writers/poets, both poems became raps+melodies, at 12/we were deep into underground rap, ETC

Watched it till the end. I’m in my 50’s. I’ve been disconnected with pop music for years. I discovered BTS on Saturday Night Live last year ( that’s about the only show I have followed for decades). And, ever since I’ve falling deeper and deeper into the BTS rabbit hole, just to be pleasantly surprised by, their music, their message, their performances, their dedication, ( absolutely amazing for such young guys),their journey and their personalities. I truly believe this is one in a lifetime Band or group. Btw, the 2018 performance is just as epic in a completely different way. Love you guys! 🙋🏻♀️💜🥰😍😘

While Hephaestus is of course the obvious choice for suga, i've seen someone suggest hades. And i quite like the idea. The flames in that context would be the fires of the underworld and it fits rather well with his famous "I'll forgive you" at the end.

So... the Asian awards in addition to being expensive, some take a long time like more than three hours to the ceremony, so it’s kind of normal there, and a little context MMA is Melon Music Awards which is an award from one of the biggest charts in korea, it is similar to the billboard awards of US.....but with a lot of money lol for example that big LED screens all over the plase costs like milions of dollars, big hit was flexing here and I'm so glad that they give everything that our boys deserve for a iconic performance .... sure grammy is not ready

@@stufr.reacts all the members still performed their live solo performances the day of for the live audience (they were wearing black outfits tho), but the broadcasted versions were prerecorded (white outfits) except for jimin's. Persona and mikrokosmos were also prerecorded, but Boy In Luv, Boy With Luv, and Dionysus were live :)

V/Apollo, Jin/Athena, Jimin/Artemis, Suga/Hephaestus, Jungkook/Poseidon, JHope/Zeus, RM/Dionysus. @38:10 the individual lights that come down after each member’s solo forms the Crown of Ariadne (Corona Borealis),Dionysus’ wife. Carl Jung which inspired BTS’ Map of The Soul albums used allot of mythological archetypes in his analysis of human psyche. BTS are intellectuals and on another level!

You’re right about Jimin being classical trained. He was the top student at his art school where he studied contemporary dance. A lot of these moves in this performance are from his martial arts training. He has a black belt in taekwondo and studied Kendo (Japanese fencing) for about 8 years. There is a really informative video on his years of training if you’d like to see what makes him such a great dancer.

It's true, I'm sorry I'm late, I just add that besides the presentation of Jimin's solo is the only one that was done live, the others were pre-recorded and that gives more importance to what Jimin did at that time on stage, it was the more effort in that presentation and it must be said.

This Award Show was broadcasted Live Online and via livestream on KakaoTalk, Melon, 1theK, KakaoTV, Daum and jimin is the Only Member, wo did It live and not Pre recorded. HE wanted to do it live, because he thought he could deliver his Emotions better to the Fans. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM

@@rouhlislam You are absolutely right, prerecorded the intro of RM persona, Mikrocosmos solo by V, Jin, Suga, JK, Jhope, and the beginning of Dyonisus where the horses were and of course it was broadcast live but for the audience present the prerecorded was transmitted on a giant screen, I also feel really proud of what Jimin did at that moment, it was amazing and beautiful and if there is fancam of the other members, it is because of the cameras they recorded and there was no public there.
RMs song in the beginning is Persona. The intro to the album Map of the soul persona. It's the album based of Carl Jungs theory of psychology the persona (ego - self - shadow) and how the outer and inner world impacts the 'self'...great reaction guys💜

The choreo on the tables I loved!!!! The dancing on the last number was amazing...their outfits were amazing. I also loved Jimins solo...you can appreciate him as a contemporary dancer. Their Mikrokosmos stage performance was beautiful, with all the lights but I must definitely say that their last number was jaw dropping. One of my favorite BTS moments. I know you guys aren’t partial to rap, but Suga (aka August D) does have a really great MV from his last mixed tape called Daechwita. It’s like watching a movie and you can appreciate his intonation, his ability as a rapper and storyteller. If you look really closely two members do a guest appearance in his video. I can’t recommend this enough. By the way, rap wasn’t my thing either but for these 3 guys in this group, I came to love it. Thank you once again for a wonderful reaction. It’s great to join you on this journey.
Same for me. I never liked rap, but after taking my daughter to a BTS concert, I was hooked! The rap line is amazing. I love the cyphers, but “Tear” is my favorite. The best moment for me, though, at their live concert was Jin singing Epiphany, with the entire audience singing with him “I’m the one I should love.” The energy at their concerts is so uplifting and positive, you can’t help but be affected by it.
So many amazing highlights in this performance 💜💜💜. We loved watching it

jhope solo was so epic, his body control is marvellous.
Microkosmos and the solo performances were pre recorded! It gives the boys time to change and for effects to be added in post production. Only the jimin solo among the member solos was live. I'm still not over how angelic he was in that performance. This whole set is iconic ❤

Every member is 👏👏👏. My most favorite parts of the solos were Jimin and JKs They were so beautiful I couldn’t stop thinking about them and have watched them countless times. JIMIN and RM were the only ones performing live . Everyone else’s was pre recorded, but this was due to set and other circumstances and not due to the BTS members’ abilities by any means. Jimin my king, my prince, my love was simply breathtaking during practice, during rehearsal, during live 💛

Guys, some of their performance there was pre recorded before live. Korean live show always do that.
The pre recorded are:
RM solo - persona
Microcosmos
V solo - no more dream
Jin solo - Danger
JK solo in water - save me
Opening dyonisus (with the horses things).
But even though it was recorded, audiences say that jK was dance in other side of stage but without the water things, used the Dyonisius cloths. You can finds the Fan video on YT about this. But for recorded things, Big Hit uploaded all of them separately. They recorded those in the day before.
It still is amazing even though some parts were prerecorded😍

Michelle C I got tears in my eyes when i watched his solo for the first time. All the guys were awesome, but Jimin has a way of dancing that makes you feel what the music is trying to tell us. He uses his whole body to tell the story.

My only complaint on Hobi's part was that the lighting didn't allow it to be easily recorded so televised audience could watch it clearly. They uploaded a practice video for this with clear lighting and Hobi's dance was so cool.

Two of the person who you might have seen during the performance of them. They are two members of group called TXT it is another group in bighit entertainment. They are first ever group debuted under bighit labels after Bts. They are also very talented and debuted in 2019 and called as monster rookies of entire kpop history. Bts and txt both have really a family bond . Txt respect them so good and bts also treats them like their little brothers.

My favorite solo parts were 3J. Jimin, Jungkook and Hobi. Also you got surprised how good Hobi’s dance is. He is actually the dance leader of the group. He is so so good. I love Taehyung’s stage presence, his opening was great. Jin looks like a powerful king on His solo)) My favorite part is also Dionysus. They killed it. Namjoon is like a Greek God)) with his voice tone, look and thyrsos. Suga really slayed all rap parts.

The first song was Intro: Persona RM's solo song from MOTS:Persona. The song has one of the best lyrıcs in BTS' discogrophy.

And it was definitely EPIC! Dionysus grew on me after watching their comeback performance.
J-Hope is my favorite of the group because of his insanely different personalities in real life and on stage. The contrast from bright sunny loud silly scaredy cat, to the performer he is on stage is crazy! Like a whole different person! He’s their Dance Leader for a reason!!! I love Hobi!!!

Yes, they were singing live. In their concert there is no intro act : you get BTS all day on the screens, while the audience is arriving. Then, it starts, and you get BTS dancing and singing live without any adornment, for the duration of the event! It must be about 2 hours of singing and dancing with only very short breaks - like running a half marathon and singing at the same time. This is common in KPop and taken for granted, but you'll see nothing like it from a western artist.
They are indeed epic, and enormously talented, each with their own speciality. There is not a passenger amongst them. That's why we are proud to be ARMY and to love all seven.
It's more than that, really : the whole philosophy of BTS and BigHit is enormously generous : you think they have done it all and they give you more. I can never say too much about how dedicated the entire support staff and dance troupe are, and how transparent their process and relationships with the whole entourage is., because nothing would happen without them. All those people who work so hard on everything from the concept and design elements to the whole stage presentation - from building and breaking down the stage, to even things like having oxygen cylinders ready backstage for them when they come off, the ever present physio for inevitable injuries, even just a make-up artist wordlessly dragging Jungkook in his chair across to her station because it's time, or holding Jimin's head up for his make-up because he has fallen asleep and she doesn't actually need to wake him up.
There's a synergy that extends beyond the BTS stage members, that adds up to a massive responsibility. And yet they hold that responsibility so lightly and without fanfare, and with only the most passing mention of the pressure of their lives. I have no idea how they do it, I am just agape and afire, and grateful because they do.
EPIC, if I have to pick a favorite, it was jimins solo dance, he looked like an angel 😇, but I really love it all, beginning to end. Thanks again for your time and effort, I really appreciate you and I look forward to the next reaction 😀

a Microcosmos, little story : they sang it at the end of their concert in their last tour. my daughter was there, in paris. whenever she hears this song, she cries ;-) cause this was the end of the concert, and is dedicated to Armys, to tell them they love them.

Dionysus was using the wine+performance god as reference and using the similar sounding korean words alcohal+art as reference. It was basically a big middlefinger to whoever says BTS aren't true artists and completely giving into artistry gone rogue. It really captured that feeling well.

This show is really iconic not just because of their performance but also because of their Daesang sweep. Daesang is the main award. They sweep the 4 daesangs in 2 year end awarding, MMA and MAMA, a first kpop group to do so.

I really love the long table of the Dionysis performance and the Mikrokosmos performance. They were EPIC! And yes to live reactions! I've yet to hear anyone not get blown away for their live stuff and it truly is an experience! They always go all out. And they go harder as fans get more hyped and fans get more hyped the harder they go. The type of energy of a BTS concert is almost symbiotic.

This performance was epic. What I love about bts is that everything in their performances has a meaning. Even those lights that came up before each member have a meaning.Also what you said about Tae giving you Michael Jackson vibes because of his gestures,he is called idol of idols,duality king and so many other things. Rookies from other groups use his fancams for practice,idols were seen watching his fancams(i don't know if you know what a fancam is but I will tell you in case you don't.A fancam is when you focuse just on one member in a performance,every idol has it for every performance) because he is truly the duality king. Once you dive more in how their personalities are you will see what I talk about,he is such a sweet boy but once he is on stage you don't know what to expect from him. Even rm said that tae is the one that attracted so many fans because in the first years he was such a happy kid,he is now as well but he's more calm now,people say that he changed because he doesn't speak that much but if you truly know him,he didn't changed at all he just prefers to be more calm but from time to time he lets out the kind inside him.Maybe you will react in the future to Kim Taehyung habits and for every member as well,there is a series and you can see little things about them. Also,can't wait for you to react to the performance from 2018. I love your reactions,I hope you have an amazing day/night(i don't know what time it is there 😄) 💜

BTS last Concerts Tour was 2.5 - 3 hours long, 24+ song set list. They manage to keep the same energy throughout their concerts. They are Fantastic and Amazing performers. Yes, BTS's Tour was to start this past April. I was supposed to go both night May 30 and 31st in Toronto. I still have my tickets, when they announce new Tour Dates I do not have to go through World War 3 to get my tickets. I am not letting go of them for nothing, not going through the battle of getting my seats again. Now, that they are even more popular fighting for seats is going to worse than the first selection was. Glad you enjoyed this performance. Looking forward to you doing more live performances. one thing people don't always notice is the camera work. these camera operators were on point! there was at least one little oopsy but there was so much movement and properly timed zoom in and outs and they def deserve props too. this is the live performance to end all other live performances. I read it took 3 months of planning.

I highly recommend Let Go by BTS, another live Japanese song of BTS. Very beautiful song with amazing choreography. The song is very very very good.

Fyi, jimin is a top student for contemporary dance back then in his art school and thats why he is sooooo flexible. And he is really good at matial arts too that why he is hella good to do that 360 flip jump

He even is a popular street dancer back then before he join bts. And also he cant rap at all when he join bts. But rm and suga help jhope to learn rap and hell now he can rap sooooooooo incredibly good. jhope can sing... super good but people usually dont really notice it. Example on the live version of spring day jhope doing the intro.

I came back late but yeah! This is truly EPIC! 💜👌 When I watched their MMA 2018 performance, I always thought that that would be the best live performance ever existed in the whole world and I keep wondering how they would topped that. And BTS gave us this 2019 performance that took it to the whole another level! Super awesome! I am more excited for this year's MMA since they have more time to prepare.
This 2019 performance took them 3 months to prepare together with their super busy schedule touring and promoting in America. I'm always amazed by how they manage their time but at the same time, worried that they exhausted themselves too much.

When Jimin dance, you can listen to a little of the song "I need U", when Suga appears, you can listen a little of the song "Fire", (please you should react to this song in MV and this is one of my fav song because Suga starts and close the song), and with "Fire" they got the first important prize in November 2016, that was "the best album of the years". Then you watched RM with the song "Dionysus" (you need to know someting about Greek filosophy),The solo ones represents 7 greek gods:

For BTS, ARMY is their universe, for us they are the most beautiful 7 stars, beacause of that is the history in the middle of the performance. Also, the context of the performance is the the narrative of BTS. That's what makes this so awesome. Every performance of BTS has a concept, a creative idea. They just don't go out to sing and dance. So, it becomes a total experience. Only BTS turns an awards show into a mini concert. I suggest you go to the WINGS ERA where each solo song has an MV and story. And those stories are connected.

You can tell that one of the reason why BTS stage is so hype and fantastic is because they really spend a lot of money, well planned and hard worked 💜
When a band talks about their universe, love yourself, shining light on each other etc., it can sound really corny and fake. But it isn't the case with BTS. It comes across as genuine and meaningful. No wonder, considering it is a remarkable group of guys with members like RM who wanted to become a poet when he was a boy. Also he has an IQ of 148, who doesn't bullshit to ARMY and must know how smart we are. Suga also is a kind old soul who is seriously smart. The others are also very smart and humble and kind.
We love that they are authentic and humble. All are great guys 💜💜

#Epic: Jimin's solo was my favorite. So much emtion in about 1:30minute. It is a nice breezy moment in the whole performance! I still watch it when I felt stressed. It does help. Also, I liked Microsomos.i think BTS tries to be with us as one. We are all stars!

Hobi was a street dancer for 10 years before he joined BTS so he’s got an amazing skill set. Jimin studies dance in college. Those two have the most background in dance. And yes, my bias V has such unique and fluid moves, very recognizable. I feel the same as Dennis, Suga is my favorite rapper and Hobi’s smile brightens up the darkest room. This show was epic. I’ve never seen anything like that! Love your reactions!

Yes! "Boy In Luv -2014" have a connection to "Boy w/ Luv- 2019" these 2 songs shows the growth of BTS. RM said that in 2014 Boy In Luv they were teenagers and as a teenager your view about love is like young love, teen love. And as BTS grow old and mature BTS's view on love isn’t one grand gesture. But rather, a large sum of small things. Hope this helps.
BTS Universe has nothing to do with their real life. It is fictional, though it tackles friendship. In the story they are friends like in real life but other things going on in BTS Universe are not related in their real lives.
BTS mics are customized and each member has designated color partnered w/ their earpieces.
