So basically - if you don't have a real pair right next to the fake pair - you're never going to be able to tell.
I have 2 pairs. One from JD Sports and Nike. And they both differ from aged cracked leather on toe box and on collar. Also differ on oxidation on soles. So no …they all will differ from pair to pair.

My pair arrived today, and I never assumed they were fake. Because they weren't!
I paid resell to a friend in Kansas who hit on snkrs, and hit two retail pairs and they’ve all look a little different lmao this is a tough one to legit check imo.
Seriously. Especially oxidation on the bottom. One of my shoes is almost all red with just a tad oxidation when the other one is almost all white. The paper was on the darker and thicker side. I got these from SNKR
I have real and 2 fake pairs. One of the fake pairs is better than the real ones😂. I really couldn't tell the difference between all 3 actually.
These are cut differently then Jordan 1s from the past . Same with the Chanel Varsity red 1s. They are higher and a boxier toe ! In the past I realized even for instance the Shadow 2.0 is higher and more narrow than the OG Shadow 1s . Fakes are real good now and I’ve compared . The only difference I see on the fake pair I got is less cracking around the upper !

Thanks for the work comparing real vs fake but it would be more helpful if you used a more recent batch of fakes to compare the retail ones to. The fake you have is a batch from the summer. The newer fake batches corrected almost all the points you pointed out. So therefore this video isn't as helpful.
Not a very intelligent comment... he could of ordered the fakes in November and the seller still sent a pair from the summer. You think they sold them all? 🤦🏾♂️

My son wore his lost and founds to school the other day. played soccer at recess and not his left foot truly looks vintage. He's a lefty and without him telling me, I knew he played soccer in them. LOL.. His are a kids size 5 and we bought them worn once for under retail. So im not worried.

Question. I got some from eBay. Everything checks off for legit. But idk if I wore them to where I got this smell on the outside I can’t get off or if they’re fake. Box, laces, leather check mark, everything is right but it has this funky smell.

Try to get an LJR batch, you'll see that those batches are a lot more closer.
Also, manufacturing inconsistencies can occur to the retail version, but you know that... It is not much of a help (still a help don't get me wrong) but unless you compare multiple pairs of retail version with multiple LJR batch, you might find that LJR batch looks better than the retail.

I got a rep for 30 bucks and is basically indistinguishable from the original unless you take your time to look closely and count the cracks

on my snkrs pair the white cracked leather its not as cracked looking like yours, it looks more like the fake cracked. the black back collar part on mine looks like the real shoe, more faded. the fake ones on the video that the first thing i noticed. seems like they are not all made the same.
