Glad you are enjoying the hammered museum skillet! I have that one, the orange lid Eric, Northern first casting, and Field #10 first casting. They are my most prized skilkets. I missed out on the #8 field first casting. Really bummed about that. I also have butterpat Heather and glass lid. Those have graduated to beloved as well. I really wish I could have bought the rest of the Butterpat line before they stopped selling.
I ordered the limit edition #10 (the #8 was already sold out) on Thursday and it was already delivered today. That’s some serious fast shipping!! I love that for me lol. I really wish Lodge would release a hammered collection. The skillet for the museum is a really beautiful. I have hammered pieces from CHF, Wagner, and Ugly hammered. I would love one from Lodge.

Hey Luis. I just ordered that #10 from field based on your post. Thank you for that. I was just starting my journey into collecting. Do you have any advice for how you are keeping yourself aware of all these special or limited editions coming out? Maybe it could be a video idea. I appreciate you and love all your videos.
I have a 2 wheats in 8 a regular 8 and a first casting 8 and a raised 8 lid with brass knob….. i saw the first casting 10 drop and i said ahhhhh pass sometimes you have to identify the problem lol

If the bottom of a skillet is too decorative I probably wouldn't cook with it. Then it just becomes my most expensive piece of art.
