Honestly it was quite thoughtful of Stanley to get Kelly a personalized nameplate
Yup! I was actually surprised a little.
Yeah, that's one of the things that went unappreciated
Phyllis says in the finale that the documentary crew made Stanley look bad and that he's actually a lot sweeter, so that explains it.
Tbh I don't why Kelly got a nameplate. She works in an isolated cubicle at the Annex😂
It's the most thoughtful present out of them all, other than the shower head
when Phyllis says “I knitted it for you” it was so adorable 🥺
Then Michael trashed it 😭😭😥
@@couchman-sw6jy IKR how selfish can he get??
If Michael hate it I would keep it !😊😊❤❤❤🧤and hug phillis
FR though, even if I don't need the mitts per say, but when someone actually took the time to make it, the least you could do is to accept it. I mean, that's just manners.
That was so sweet, I love home knitted stuff tbh
I actually can't remember any other moment in the whole series when I'd hate Michael as much as I did during this scene
I know this is crazy to say as a office fan but there was a LOT of scenes where I hated michael
Also when Michael made fun of Phyllis after she was flashed.

Imagine if Kelly got the teapot and read Jims letter to Pam, She would probably not shut up about it and tell Pam
I never thought about that... imagine Jim's reaction
Probably not, since in this season she was still normal and not so talkative
@Clifford because she wasn't a major character when this show first started then she slowly but surely grew into a secondary character that was funny and worth viewers time watching
She would have told everybody except Pam
I thought she would assume the letter was her
Angela randomly crying always gets me
0 to 100 super quick 😭
It reminds me of my younger sister. Just the rapid deterioration, and the face and quiet crying, the preceding comment about how she thought it was a little mean.
I love how Michael accepts Phyllis's unfinished oven mit and plays paintball with Dwight on his last episode.
Ya man. I too loved it
Character development
Just shows how much Michael grew by the time he left and made us appreciate his time on the show even more
It wasn’t an oven mit
for the most part, he was a terrible person
Michael insulted Phyllis' mitten in this episode but during his last day in the office, he accepted the mitten even if it's not done.

He learned his lesson for sure

I love Jim’s smile when he’s explaining his theory about Creed’s gift. Like he doesn’t care it doesn’t fit, he’s just happy he got something not covered in blood.
Seems like he was mildly amused by the utter lack of any effort or thought whatsoever that Creed put into his gift and that's why he's smiling.

This scene made me so so mad. Everybody would have been so happy with the gifts they got cuz they were all personalized, but Michael was selfish and wasn't grateful for the gift Phyllis gave him even though it totally came from the heart. Also I felt so so bad for Phyllis not only because Michael didn't like it, but because no one else wanted it

@@matthewstout6798 dude I have the right to have an opinion about a scripted show
Well I mean, Meredith took it so that was sweet of her
Phyllis should've made an oven mitt for Michael's foot.
Haha that would’ve been really funny
At 3:42 you can tell Jim is really sad that Pam instantly forgot about the teapot and went for Ryan's iPod. Man this show is just great.
Yes! Pam's behaviour was utterly tactless. It's a testament to how much Jim loves Pam that he still went to hang out with her during the party even though she had publicly (!!) rejected his gift on the grounds that it wasn't as good as an iPod. And then she told Michael off because he didn't show enough appreciation for Phyllis' gift! Good thing she eventually saw the light after Roy shows that he wouldn't put much effort into a gift for her.
She didn't realize what was inside the teapot and you can sell an ipod for a lot more than what a teapot costs, so I don't blame her. (Btw she took the teapot instead of the ipod later in the episode)
@@Musicienne-DAB1995oh shut up
Another tidbit I noticed - at the end of this episode Pam accepts the teapot instead of the iPod telling Jim that Roy was going to get her an iPod for Christmas. Later, In the George Foreman grilled foot episode, Pam is fiddling around with a huge blocky knockoff iPod that Dwight helps her with, meaning that Roy cheaped out on his gift to her
You know it's mean when Angela thinks it's unsuitably mean.

Alot of people seemed like that. Angela is louder, kelly got more cliquey, michael got funnier with his craziness, everyone glows more, etc.
@@BlackDiamond2718 I have a theroy that part of why everyone acted more lively after the first season is that they where nervous about being filmed and didn't want to look bad for a bunch of people to see so they acted like how they thought normal people act at work, but they eventually got used to the cameras and started to act like their selves again.

Seriously!! I bought that iPod Video the day it came out I remember, I worked at BBUY at the time (actually it was my first year there, 2005) and just remember being so "awwwed" by the box because it was SO "small" compared to the old iPod boxes. The boxes were huge fucking cubes before this box size/shape I remember. It was HELL to receive/inventory those things, oh my god...I think I was 21 when I got it, but I remember this episode was in late 2006.
I love how at 3:04 she had such great acting with a transition of anger to crying. Oscar worthy (no pun intended)
i find it funnier when the "no pun intended" is left out, but at the same time I may miss the un/intended pun
It’s weird to think out of all the things that Michael has done, switching 20 dollar or less gifts is what made me hate him the most

He’s human... people have flaws. You want cookie cutter main character that’s perfect every way?
