He says so much that I am tempted to take notes ... but what he says is so interesting that I just want to listen. And I am each time struck by his humility. Great talk. Some lost bits, regrettably, but still very worth listening to.
Sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any help you can offer me!
Brilliant! Apples of gold in pictures of silver...keep your coins, or, spend them on this guys work......... although it is, priceless! Many thanks to Friends of Jung San Diego.

I just wanted to take a quick break before I start researching for my first blog post about Jungian psychology. I went to RUclips and saw that Lex Fridman & Andrew Huberman had just released a new episode. I skipped immediately to the part about the Jungian Shadow - and that's how I ended up here. I don't think it's a coincidence. It feels more like synchronicity. I am looking forward to the final result of what the unconscious led me to.
@@jancarlo8834 I have started my blog and a podcast (in german) and I am still using inspiration from this presentation. Due to its density, there is a lot to elaborate on. To be honest, I have only listened to the first 20 minutes because the note taking naturally turned into writing down spontaneous ideas and thoughts, which then became the basis for the articles. So it will probably take a while to digest everything. But isn't that what I was looking for - going into the deep? The process of writing about philosophy and psychology seems so naturally to me as if it gives me a sense of purpose - even though it's a lot of hard work. Hence, I am very glad that I have opened up to the possibly of finding meaning (and synchronicities) in my life.
A sweet message taken from this- Start reading the world psychologically and do it every day. Every day reflect on the conduct of the day. Spend one hour every day in personal reflection. Keep an appointment with yourself. Meditation is to truly be present. The cure for loneliness is solitude. Solitude means that when you’re alone you’re not alone because you’re present to something (self, dao, god). Tolerate the silence and something always manifests. “If you wait upon the silence, it is not silent. If you wait upon the dark, it is luminous.”- Jung
Ive been interested in JUng past 30+ yrs,,, more off than on,,,, only found interest in Jung and Von Franz,,, other Jungian authors never interested me much,,, and seeing bits of this video,, now i know why I passed up *UTHe Jungians** authors.. I am now re-reading JUng from a higher/nroader perspective,,, Understanding what I will keep of Jung what I will toss aside. Here w Hollis, his bk titles sound intreguing,,,but when you approach Jungian material from this higher perspective,, you find the content to be a bit rambling, off center,,, not accurate,, and thus a bit confusing,, Things we DO NOTTTT need today,, what we need NOW is Clarity, focus and deep undersatnding = DEpth Psychology as Neumann calls it. I never cared for ERich Neumann. I'm only a student of JUng and Von Franz,, though some of what each says, I confront as a critic. I've come alongggg ways,, and hope to share Jung's ideas froma new perspective,, thats some years off. To the JUngians I present Yeshua,, and to the protestants I present Jung. I could never ever go to the prots asa ***christian*** nor to THe Jungians as a student of JUng.

I’ll be there at 8 o’clock!
There has been a continuity in my journey as well. Continuity makes me feel safe in this world..
@Garrett Fitzgerald Haha, you have no idea what she meant by continuity, yet you write extensively to prove her wrong with your "supreme wisdom".
