I have the ego 190 HTE with 1.0mm for small work and the 0.7mm for cerekote. Its a great mini all around but with 0.7mm for cerekote is where it really pulls away from all the other mini guns i ever used. It atomizes both heat cure and air cure cerekote so well and lays such a perfect finish i really cant imagine a better option on the market. Sure it may be $400 to $500 but worth every penny. I have made a lot of money with that little guy in the last 12 months
Привет,это hvlp или hte?
EGO 190 HVLP?
Ol' school carpainter,, what I used to do on poor opacity base's water and solvent, was add a tinter base to the primer to darken or similar to base topcoat I was spraying, helps cover quicker makes job easier.but you probably already know this👍
Good good good 🙏👍
Excellent job Tony, came out a treat 👍🏻
Thanks fella
PS LOVE THE CHANNEL
hanks man
Hi
Why do most painter blend out the clear coat up the c post when it takes no time to clear the roof edge.
I know they blend in nice but I've seen so many that show eventually.
Sometimes we do sometimes we don’t it’s no different to how brand new cars are done on the production line of damage occurs
Carbonio light clear in 1.3 is on the way🙄 i was betwen sata 5500 rp and carbonio light clear let's see how it goes!
It’s nice mate it’ll save you allt of paint over the sata tbh
Nice job again👍
Thanks mate
Hi Tony, how did you finish the rear bumper where the soft edge was after lacquering?
So I used the soft edge to stop me getting any hard edge but I don’t paint up to it I stop short and spray the blend with fade out mate then flat and polish it in
Hi bud sorry I missed the live hope all things are turning out good for you good content bro glad for you on the new paint system arriving soon 😆😆
Thanks buddy
Definitely a merc, not a jag. Nice little video dood
Haha I know I know lol thanks man
Nice job bro but kindly take us through the blending process
I have in other videos I don’t always get chance to cover every detail in every video
😀 P r o m o S M!!
😍😍😍😍😍
Lesanol spectro and software is spot on for colour matching 👍
Absolutely is mate
Thank u so much for ur time was the a waterbase system or solvet base
Waterbase system mate
Muito boa essa pistola
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
👍
God I’d love to be your apprentice 😉
Lol I could do with one atm
great video as always buddy!
Thanks man
Another good job mate its always nice to see
Thanks Gary
Nice job Tony thank you for the video
Your welcome mate
Great work mate , do you prefer to use water based base coat under the multi mix or solvent base
Either mate tbh but you’ll always find a better lay down with waterbase than solvent as it’s got a finer film build so smoother base layer and the clear lays a lot different ontop of each too
@@TonysRefinishingTV ahhhh thanks mate , would you advise water based if doing it from home
It’s better for the environment in that setting and also your health and others around you but will take longer to dry than solvent so it’s a choice for yourself really that Jason
Watched this again without the buffering 🙄 great live chat last night Tony very enjoyable. The old Merc came out a treat and looks mint mate I don't see any problems there with the door, boot and windows still in place or having a blend there 😁 our mate from over the pond should watch a few of your vids maybe he will learn how it's done properly👍
Really looking forward to seeing some vids about selecting the correct colour primer for some of the basecoat colours as this is where I'm really struggling, being able to select the correct colour wow primer will be great it's just knowing which colour is best to use, cheers 🙏👍
Thanks John and as always mate there always that few fella that can’t be pleased lol and once the systems up and running mate il be doing a few detailed vids like that mate to help people
Looking forward to seeing your new content with your new paint scheme, so will you get a spectro with yours Tony and which software will you use? I have the Kapci ColorMix but there is a better one called Kapci Colour Search and Correct which I also have but it doesn't support my scales which is odd as the ColorMix does 🤷♂️
I'll be trying the 626 white primer as it is in a few days just to try out the wow mix, can you tell me a good colour basecoat that will cover over the white primer? (please don't say white, hate the colour 😂), I was thinking Honda phoenix yellow or the Merc Green Hell Mango which is quite light, any ideas mate? 🤗👍
Yeah il be using the spectro and chips mate we’ve got both in for training days it’ll make things abit more detailed , and yellow mate light Colours ect would be best over the wet on wet primers
Ok thanks mate sounds interesting. I was to try the wow as it is without adding any colour as I have zero confidence in my ability to use wow primer, tried it a few times but it's never worked for me, do you think my GTI ProLite 1.2 or 1.3 T110 will be ok for it?
I’d say the 1.2 mate tbh I get the best results with a 1.2
Well done
Thanks
Looks great Tony..
Thanks stuart
Excellent job 👍👍
Thanks man
Tony what Camera setup do you use?
For filming mate ?
@@TonysRefinishingTV yes matey…all your filming .
You ready lol
Painting shots I use go-pro hero 8 4k
Talking head shots Sony zv1
I have wireless mics so the sounds better
And for the fancy shots of cars I use a 4k DJI drone mate
@@TonysRefinishingTV what wireless mics do you use…Ive been looking at RODE wireless mics but they are quite expensive ……this is all for my motorbike …..getting a couple of Cams fitted and want audio.
I use the sarmonic ones mate same price as the rode ones dude and then I use a blue yeti x for voice overs problem with video kit is it ain’t cheap but makes a massive difference to how clear the video sounds aswell as looks with the cameras my kits about £5k in total with my editing computer built specially for it
Sweet job .
Thanks Jimmy
I must try to get my head around waterbase mmnnn . Paiinted a Merc rear bumper last year and it was ok but i was'nt confident so used to solvent after 46 yrs . I'm not that bothered i'll be redundent soon lol. Keep up the good work kid .
Just try not to think of waterbase as different our lesonal works best when I apply it just like solvent tbh one fine wet coat then smash it on it’s just the drying that’s different
