Another great video of Goa - my favourite destination to unwind. Holiday Street is very familiar to me and this video has evoked many old memories which I would like to share : 1. At 0:58 mins the few shops that is shown give a good bargain if properly negotiated -- we've got a few things from there in the past. 2. At 6:15 and again at 11:55 mins the Bar & Restaurant which is at present closed was probably known as Nirvana a few years ago. 3. At 7:27 mins the swimming pool which you showed in the adjacent property is (if I am not mistaken) The White House . 4. Holiday Street had a lovely restaurant serving Parsi cuisine in the past , called Zuperb --- they suddenly closed due to some problem with the landlord. 5. Maggies and Kingstork are the two other hotels which are quite popular with international tourists. 6. The nearest shack from Pedros would be Flying Dolphin which is quite well known. 7. Golden Eye is also a good place to stay and they have opened a Burmese Restaurant called Zwe. 8. For those who are looking for some high end places for special occasions there are A Reverie restaurant, Park Calangute Hotel and Pousada by the Beach fine dining Shack. I stayed a Pedros guest house and they are wonderful welcoming people. Stayed there december 2019 and was going back but the pandemic started so we cancelled Pedros. Really lovely place to stay. We loved it. Hopefully this season we will serve back to this guest house.
When we stayed there in December we were the only British guests but the owner said British guests were staying from January till March. Hopefully we will get back to goa next season 🙏

After watching your video we stayed there for 3 days... Property was very nice.. we were in ground floor room.. but we didn't get discount after taking your name
Initially we booked standard room which was for 1800 but we didn't got the same for 1500.. but when we checked in, there was ground floor room also vacant so the owner offered us to select any room so yeah we got this ground floor room in 1800.. Thank you for your reply ❤️. your videos are very nice and informative .. owner is very nice . Room was very hygienic and the best part is it is just next to Calangute beach ⛱️

@@revathyiyer2716 hello, it’s off season now. There is nothing you can do in the water your not even allowed to go in the water on the beach. There is no water sports or scuba diving now. It rains most of the time. There are pure veg options everywhere in Calangute and baga. ☺️

Hi Moses , I was in goa till 12th Feb and staying in Blue star sportsman residency on calangute baga road opp to union Bank. You can cover that guest house also because the prices of the standard room they had 1000rs only for standard room and everything was good.
