Jim, you are a wonderful teacher. I learn so much including that it's ok to make errors. Your videos explain so well. I'd rather watch your longer videos and really learn than other instructors short videos which skip many important steps. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
@JudyReece-vn7vh Thank you very much for your kind words. It's so important to me that everyone who watches my videos comes away with the confidence that they can make their own jewelry using my techniques. Thank you for watching.
This video and pendant design are both AWESOME!! I have a couple of stones that are shaped like yours and I'm really looking forward to using this design on them, so thanks very much! 👍❤
I have just seen that you have 6-step looping/bail-making pliers on your site! [& that you guys are now manufacturing ALL of the wire-wrappers' pliers! Good for you guys! Yay!🥰🤗 I already have 2 wrap-maker pliers (the older, black- handled ones!& I LOVE 'EM!!)] Anyhow, I was just wondering - what are the mm's/diameters for each step please? Thank you! Aloha!💜🤙💜 P.S. Mahalo Nui Loa for ALL of your AMAZING tutorials & your responses to all of my questions too!!💜😋😊😻🤟🤙💜
You are so kind; thank you very much. It comes naturally to me because I love teaching it and I love to see what people do with the instructions. Thank you for watching.
Jim, where do you recommend I purchase a good variety of cabochons and stones. I do have the wrap maker pliers. Appreciate your videos and sharing your knowledge. Thanks Nancy.
The internet is full of great suppliers. I have found several on Instagram. When I start with one of these suppliers, I usually buy one or two pieces to see how good the quality is, how long it takes to deliver, and to make sure that they aren't scamming me. Once I find a supplier on Instagram, I usually stick to them. I prefer to purchase some stones in person (labradorite, moonstone, etc.). There are certain materials that I want to make sure have the flash in them that I want. I like to attend various gem and mineral shows that pop up in my area. I also like to visit local bead shops so that I can have a look at their cabs, plus I like to support my local merchants. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
Jim, can we talk? I've been a fan since you were on JTV. I bought 2 books and read them and refer to them often, as I do you videos. My problem is the front design. I can't get them even with out putting slight bends in then and the can get the straight again. Any ideas?
Marring wire is something that every wire artist has had to deal with at one time or another. One way that I have dealt with it is by taking my time. I try to move the wire into place with my WrapMaker pliers as gently as I can. I then move it to it's final place using my fingers. Another way that I straighten hose wires with micro bends is to put my wrapmaker pliers lengthwise on the wire and give it a squeeze. This will often take most of the unwanted bend out of the wire. I hope this helped. Thanks for watching. If you need more help, visit my website (thewrapmaker.com) and send me an email using the contact us form. I'm always happy to help.
I'll check on it and see what's going on.......Ok, I show that it was sent via USPS and delivered to your porch on Dec 12th at 5:06pm. Did you receive it?
Your wish is my command. On December 21st at 10am a.m., I will be premiering a bracelet tutorial. Be sure to check back then. It's a great project. Thank you very much for watching.

Thank you. He thinks he's a small dog and doesn't realize that he walks around the house like a bull in a china shop. Thanks for watching

Him you are frally good and creative . There is a glare from your overhead light in the middle of your stone and makes it pretty hard to follow you.
Sorry for the glare. We are working on a lighting setup that will reduce that. Thank you for watching.
