The be nice message x 10. It's not just cruising though, it's everywhere lately. What the heck is up with people? That said, the whole social vibe of cruising is sure different than when I first started out with it. Now we hear about stolen door decorations, rude and nasty attitudes, fights...that never used to be the case! Cruising was something fancy and special and that just wasn't how people behaved :( Thing is, it's old people too, and sometimes it feels like they're some of the rudest! But enough negative! We will be cruising B2B in just over two weeks and just can't wait. I am counting down SO hard right now. Loved hearing all your positives especially the part about "best ship ever!" We did a B2B on the Vista when it was brand new and it was a huge let down. I haven't heard a person yet not love this ship overall.
I went in October, it was my fourth cruise with Carnival and the best cruise I have ever taken. It's a lot of people, but you can always find quiet spaces to chill. Yes, the elevators do get crowded, it's always peak hours, show times, dinner etc.
May 7th cruise? Kinda late getting this video out.. Anyway, we just got back from a 4-week cruise (back-to-back-to-back-to-back) on the Celibration, Nov 26 - Dec 24th to go home, and had a great time too! That long, gave us time to get to know the staff real well! Great ship,
Thank you for the information!❤ The dining experience sounds like it has changed. The last cruise we went on was 2019 a smaller ship and we had a full course dining experience every night. Appetizers, salad, entrees, and dessert. Is this no longer the same?
Yes, The dining experience has changed within the last two years but I think it depends which cruise ship you’re on. Carnival has added more dining option to eat at different restaurants on your Sea Pass Card on newer ships.
Just curious what level you are platinum gold? What time did you arrive? (I may have missed that in your video). Very informative. We cruise out Feb 4th on the Celebration. Really looking forward to it
If you’re a U.S citizen and your itinerary are close-loop (Closed-loop cruises are those that take off from a U.S. port, visit at least one foreign port of call and then return to that same port) You don’t need one but you do need to bring identification for Proof of Citizenship such as a government issued ID or U.S birth certificate.
@@Theroyaltyadventure Yeah, we were on a 5 Night cruise back in October with Royal Caribbean ( I’m partial to Royal Caribbean. She wants to try Carnival this time ) Will be my 6th cruise 🚢 🚢🚢🚢🚢🚢 ( Second time sailing with Carnival ) Will be Wife’s second cruise 🚢🚢 come May 2024.
Concerning the elevators, they are terrible if you are handicapped and are on a scooter or in a wheel chair. We had people climb over the front of my mothers scooter to get into the elevator first and then tell us that there was no room left.
Oh wow, Sorry to hear that. You would think people would have manners to let disabled or handicapped guest go first, but seems like that that doesn’t exist anymore.
I’m watching peoples’ experience videos on this cruise. This will be my families first cruise. I’m nervous and want to hear others experiences on the cruise. Safety in the ports/ islands areas?
For the most part, we didn’t encounter any safety issues on our sailing. As long as you follow the cruise guidelines, and stay within cruise port, you should be fine. If you do decide to go far outside the city, just be aware to make it back on ship time or else the cruise ship will leave you behind.
Also, fairly sure people who fight get put off the ship with the latest crack downs. Would sure suck to ruin your vacation like that! Along with the vacation of anyone traveling with you. Wow, can you imagine doing that to your Mom? Hey Mom, sorry, we have to go home because I couldn't control myself in the club.
