You never ever compare k-pop groups. You will get hate comments like you never seen before. Easy is still one of my first favorite songs. I also love BTS older songs. You have to keep in mind Stray Kids only debut 2018 the song come out in 2020. You never can judge a group by one or 2 songs. The thing about Stray Kids is they do write and produce 99.9% of their own songs, and they have more of a creative control over their own music than most k-pop groups or idols. And Stray Kids love to experiment with all kinds of genres, sounds and beats and sometimes have a wide mix of all 3 in one song. No song sounds the same and they can do it all, vocals, rap, and any genre. You are bound to find one you like. You just never know what you are going to get with stray kids. They are always surprising and exceeding expectations. And I am also a 2nd gen stan but Stray Kids is my 1st love of k-pop.

That’s my opinion though. I fell in love with them just when they debuted. Their older songs were different and great esp in their own time. Fell into a kpop slump for 2yrs but it was skz who brought me back to kpop last 2020, they hit me in a different but good kind of way. That’s why they’re my ult now.
There is one thing that most people forget is that the reason why BTS is the biggest band in the industry up to date is not because they make cool sick beats and dance nicely. The reason they became the best is because they treat music as an art. Music consists of lyricism, message, relatability and obviously the sound and for most people BTS delivered this. That is why they will always be on top no matter what because people do not want just cool sound or a cool melody. Thats why we have one hit wonders like Souja boy, Silento, that group called magic etc their one popular songs had the coolest beats but then what. Now compare that to artists like J.cole, Drake, Kendrick, Beyonce, Harry styles or Sia they don't become one hit wonders because they combine all the elements of what makes music music in their albums, they are true artists. If people cannot relate to your lyrics, message or story you won't surpass those artist at the top right now (always remaining in the mediocre category) . No hate to any kpop group out there but that is just reality. You can stan whoever you want but legends will always be legends.

listen to venom or like maniac are very popular. but they are one of the rare type of groups in that they write (self-producing group) even though they are under a company they write all their songs. I find everyone no matter what music you likes finds music they will like in straykids. If you like more slow pace but not too slow check out EXO like tempo, love shot or even enhypen. More emotion go txt. those are just the tip of kpop more mainstream male groups I guess. But kpop is not one genre everyone finds something.

This group is an amazing dance group too so you should check out some of their dance practices but maybe check out Back Door, Venom and Freeze MVs next. SKZ really mixes genres too. Their latest alumb is also great and those song are different from all the rest too. If you want to hear just singing maybe listen to some of their "first take" videos.

To another friend who's a blink I said I stan skz. He never heard of them but next time we met he came to me playing maniac & said he love Felix Lol. Same thing happened with my other friend, I just told her I'm a stay & next time we met she said she loved that song & his voice; did a lil dance so it was maniac & the guy was Felix. Also....they should keep in mind that compared to most other groups....SKZ write and produces 90% of their own songs. And YES ....old BTS is where it's at. New BTS is ......well.....
listen to venom or like maniac are very popular. but they are one of the rare type of groups in that they write (self-producing group) even though they are under a company they write all their songs. I find everyone no matter what music you likes finds music they will like in straykids. If you like more slow pace but not too slow check out EXO like tempo, love shot or even enhypen. More emotion go txt. those are just the tip of kpop more mainstream male groups I guess. But kpop is not one genre everyone finds something.
They might like 3Racha, Domino, Heyday, Thunderous & Venom.

Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids. BTS is great but these groups are just different to compare. I think you should check out more Stray Kids. This group is an amazing dance group too so you should check out some of their dance practices but maybe check out Back Door, Venom and Freeze MVs next. SKZ really mixes genres too. Their latest alumb is also great and those song are different from all the rest too. If you want to hear just singing maybe listen to some of their "first take" videos.

1st time in the channel & things got spicy a lil too fast. Girl u responded faster than Changbin's rap Lmao.
Anyways, I feel like there's always a way to get into any kpop grp. The 1st thing he said was about the mv & it not capturing his attention. It's just a mv for b-side & not much going on while kpop music is much more than just song. For new ppl to kpop I think mv plays a big role. U need sthg to stuck in ur head that maybe choreo, scene, visual, outfit anything that's gonna bring u back. Especially for a fast song if u can't even read to understand it becomes not memorable after 3min. U've to rely on melody at last but but it has more rap Lol.
But that doesn't make "Easy" any less of a very straykids like music. Skz music is hit or miss for many whether ur a kpop fan or not. But ofc they've got a lot more music to decide as a whole. I'm sure the boys are gonna love skz tho. When I told my friends abt skz, they only knew bts, bp & barely listened to their music. So I sent them domino unveil & guess what? They loved it! To another friend who's a blink I said I stan skz. He never heard of them but next time we met he came to me playing maniac & said he love Felix Lol. Same thing happened with my other friend, I just told her I'm a stay & next time we met she said she loved that song & his voice; did a lil dance so it was maniac & the guy was Felix.
Moral of the story recommend "Domino unveil" (bcoz it has no mv😔) & "Maniac" lol. "God's menu" too bcoz it basically turned me into a kpop stan. Anyways, I love genuine rxn as long as they're not disrespecting any artist. Keep it up. Can't wait for next Straykids reaction!❤
