- We were very lucky that we had a chance to experience a beautiful Buddhism ritual called Dhunchut. In this video, you will see the Phyang Monastery and its mandala ritual in a very beautiful way.
As a tourist, not many people know about this monastery, and tour package
companies are also do not included this place in their itinerary list. But I will suggest to everyone that If you plan your trip to Leh-Ladakh this place is definitely worth a visit.
The main attraction there is I would say the 16th Century old temple and the 13th-century old temple called Guru Lakhang.

I don’t think phyang monastery have a guest house situation but you will find a good homestay in that village. And generally if someone stays for a longer duration they will give you pretty good discount also.

I don’t have his number but if you are visiting Phyang Monastery then there you should talk to lamas and ask them about this place. Someone will help you for sure.
Place is called “Guru Lakhang Temple and it is around 2 or 3 km away from main monastery. 100% worth a visit place BTW. 😁
