Suga said it: "I'm an Idol after all" which means fast learning is part of the skill set of their profession. All these years of pre-debut dance training 9h/day maybe 350d/year for 3 years, it amount to 9,450 hours of dance training and that's before even becoming official. So here he is after 9 years as a professional entertainer doing just that for a living so I'm not amazed at what he can do because he's a professional like others are plumbers or electricians, architects or welders. It's not magic, they have learned their skills through repetitions, efforts, suffering, exhaustion... real blood, sweat and tears nothing was given free. Dancing is as hard as learning an instrument if you practice your guitar 5h/day for 5 years, you're gonna get pretty good at it even if you're not naturally gifted for music. Min Yoongi and BTS worked a lot to get skillful at their krafts and I salute the "WORKERS" they are. 🩸⛓️🧰🩹🩰
I wish there were versions of all BTS' dance practices like this one, actually showing more of the learning process.

Me too but anytime some behind the scenes has dropped (music or dance) solos have always ruined it so i guess we dont get enough of it
they always show us the behind the scenes for their dance practices.. watch the films, documentaries or the dvds.. like if u want to see behinds for mots one concert.. there's a DVD for it and they showed all behinds in it
PSY is 44 - mad respect to him for dancing like that, and to Yoongi for learning it in such a short time frame. So impressive.🤠🤠
Yeah Psy puts me to shame. I'm four years older than him and I'm fighting arthritis and need a hip replacement🤦😂

Yeah people keep telling Yoongi he doesn't have to dance, then making him do it anyway. On a selfish level though, I'm happy about that. I love watching him dance and for someone who NEVER wanted to dance he's so good at it.
I agree that Suga is a great dancer. They recruiters did a really good job finding these boys. Jin wasn't a dancer or singer and I think I read somewhere J-Hope didn't rap until he joined Big Hit. I wish I had half these boys talent 😅
@@christineb.3744 Yeah Hobi had never tried to rap, he was supposed to just be a backup dancer originally but he spent time with Yoongi and Namjoon and learned to rap from them. Jin hadn't sang or danced so he started from step one. Jimin and Jungkook just wanted to dance. Bang Shi Hyuk knew what he was doing when he gathered these men together...he was making history.

Staff faces are blurred most of the time for their privacy.
He practiced this dance i think whilst they were preparing for their 3 day concert in Seoul in March so i think he had alot to do before and after these dance practices, with bts. Just goes to show how incredible he is 💜💜💜
Yeah, it was delightful when fancams caught Yoongi doing the That That choreo for the Dongsaengs onstage 😁
Have you seen the dance practices they've been uploading? It's our yearly FESTA, and this year they upload 2 a day, all week.
Yoongi said in something else he only practiced 4 times before shooting the music video. It helps that he's been dancing professionally for 10 years now. Hobi and other older idols have said I er the years they all just pick up stuff faster. Your body gets better at memorizing. So dance practice is mostly refining the moves, perfecting formation and being in sync.
He only had two days to learn the sword dance in Daechwita! 🤯

He even practiced this choreo after finishing practice for their Vegas show. He said they shot the video 2 days after returning to Korea... wow, this man is keeping busy. I like to see the process of learning they go through. Thanks for your reaction. I'm with you...I don't care how many times I practiced, I wouldn't get it all down.

I don't know whether you guys already know this or not, but there's subtitles provided by Bighit entertainment themselves.
I think they watched it with subtitles because they laugh at some parts and they didn't say about not having subtitles but they just didn't put it in the video.

I believe the reason they blur out staff members faces is to protect them from possible harassment/stalking from psycho fans (known in Korea as Sasaengs). Crazy stalker fans of BTS or any other idol artists might stalk the staff members and bribe them to get close to the band or might harass a female staff member if the crazy fan perceives the female staff member to be flirting with a BTS member for example. So for their own safety and the idols safety, staff members appearing in behind the scenes videos are usually blurred to protect their identities as they are not public figures the way the BTS members are.
& also in Korea even for random RUclipsrs they cover the faces of the people in the background, is a big deal in Korea, u can get sued for that, they value privacy so much, unlike here in the Philippines, most people loves to be on camera and don't mind being shot in the background.
Suga's effort here, OMG. He's so intense all the time when he's really trying to dance. Yeah Psy! 1978 representing! They blur out faces to not have to pay the entertainer's talent fee, I think.

Yeah, after a certain, somewhat specific, point in BTS' rise, they began blurring the faces of Management and Staff for Privacy.

It took me 2 weeks to learn the choreo generally.
It took me another 2 weeks to get the details.

The fact that PSY is 44 and still dancing full out is inspiring.

The amount of time and practice they put in yet make it seem so effortless. Love when they show us behind the scenes.
Right after the practice or right before, they were practicing for the PTD Seoul concerts. You know the ones we foreigners all got to see in theaters and stuff. So lots of choreography going on at the same time
I loved seeing this in depth practice especially the little bit of the BTS dance choreographer/dance director Mr Son he was the guy lurking in the back in a tan hat and shirt just enjoying watching. Suga was busy in all day dance practice for theirs Korea live shows then did this after all day doing that for this MV. He really went all in and it’s an amazing MV.
I thought it was Hoseok for a minute, but he was too stocky.
Side note, Psy has been known to encore his concerts to about 6 hours of performance. His pace is incredible. He's been performing at university in SK last few weeks

As Yoongi said, he learns fast because he's an idol, it's his job. It's a shame that you didn't have the english subs on because people who haven't watched it before wouldn't know that he said that with his shy smile. It would be great to see more of BTS learning dances from scratch. There are only one or two videos which show them at the start of learning a new choreo. the most difficult part of the choreo is the part where they have to swing one leg. I've tried it and it's hard.
His face is blurred out as SK industry doesnt mess around with people's personal privacy. If you don't consent to your image used for your career they usually will blur the face of staff like dancer choreographers make up artists camera directors etc.

Guys, you can put in the subtitles, Bangtan TV and Hybr upload the videos with subs in English, and Spanish. For other video put the subs en you can understand the think than they are saying.
If you wanna know how many take they have to have 'final' dance practice video, maybe you can check 3J (j-hope, Jimin, JK) dance to Butter ft. Megan.

Hi Guys…If we spent the amount of time practicing like they do, we could do it, it might be slower and It might not look pretty, but at least we would have the moves.😳 Missed the English subtitles, especially since this is my first time watching this dance practice. There are past dance practices up on Bangtan, which I understand were kept in the vault. Mic Drop, Danger, N.O., We are Bulletproof, Butterfly and Am I Wrong. They are from their younger days and they. are. sharp. Butterfly and Am I Wrong are dance practices I had not seen, and they are so good!! I know it’s hard for the both of you because of your schedules, but we would love to see your reactions. I timed how long it would take for you to watch them and it is 22:21 (22 minutes & 21 seconds). If you have no conversation at the beginning and the end that is😁😁 Missed your reaction yesterday, unless I missed it??? 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think they are so used to learning choreography that it just doesn't take long to learn it anymore. Think about how many choreographies BTS have had to learn. They are used to it.

On some of the past videos they explained that sometimes they have to use a method to upload to RUclips and the subtitles don't get transferred. Maybe that's the case with this video.
