March 14, 2020 - Silage milling, mixing and feeding to cattle with the Siloking SelfLine Premium 2215 self-propelled TMR mixer, a demonstration machine.
somthing have to be wrong with the silo if it freezes to ice! i worked in the north of norway- troms in the 1970s where temperature could be -25C -30C for months and the silage never froze.. But it was hard work anyway feeding 100+ milking goats using a pitchfork and a wheelbarrow.. hehe i wish we had somthing like this. but in 1979 the farmer bought a new tractor that had a loader-bucket in the front,, it helpd a lot, enen though we still had to keep a clean surface on the silo so we still had to use a sharp hand shovel to cut the silage and a pitchfork to load the bucket.. if you was lazy and used the tractor to dig in to the silage and loosen it up you might get loaded fast and easy that day.. but problems came next day when the pourus surface that was left had frozen solid.. and if you did that in the spring a lot of open pourus surface would spoil
Prachtige en efficiënte machine! Mooi om te zien!
I saw one of these in Holland but you have a much better video than I was able! Useful machines, albeit single purpose.(I suppose)
It is a single purpose machine, but it is needed every day.
Mooie video Jeroen. En mooie voerwagen.
Bedankt Niels

Impressive! 👍 - Doug in Iowa
How would this machine work if the silo is frozen to ice? Like in Norway we have several months with subzero temperature
The milling of silage will be more difficult, take more time I guess.
