I keep one of these butt packs MOLLEd onto my pistol belt at the small of my back. Right now it's got a .44 Magnum and 6 speed-loaders with 240 grain Winchester Partition Gold Deep Penetrater JHPs ( and sometimes I switch it with a 10mm and extra mags in case I need a more powerful handgun than my Glock 21 .45ACP and don't want to use my AK. We have lots of dangerous critters up in the Great Smokies ), a field stripped MRE, metal spork, a couple power bars, extra LED flashlight ( small and bright ), extra headlamp, some chem lights, a couple extra Bic lighters and 6 Wet Fire tinder cubes, extra ferro rod, extra Life Straw, liter steel water bottle, Mylar "space blanket", extra 50 foot hank of 550 paracord, and still have room for more. They really do carry more than people would think. I'm thinking of rolling up an extra poncho and woobie liner because it looks like it will fit, again with extra room for more. Great piece of kit. Edit : Forgot to mention that I liked and subscribed because you flashed the horns at the end of the video. I've been playing death metal and black metal guitar for 33 years and have played in and toured with some bands you may have heard of if you're into that kind of music
Hell yeah, all good stuff to carry. I love Death Metal and Black Metal, I too played in a Thrash Metal band semi professionally for many years, a few albums out on German record labels. Those were definitely good times. Played in a Death Metal band in the early 90’s as well.

I like the idea of using something like this as a foodpack or a cookset pack, for the simple I hate having those item mixed in with my other gear. Nice review 🖒
Very nice video. I bought 70 of them for 3 USD each in Peshawar, Pakistan. Loads of equipment is left by US Army, which is sold in Pakistan now. I love the USGI equipment quality.
hello danielmitchell5814, would you sell a few of the us molle waist packs that you bought in bulk for a profit? do you have any other items that you bought in bulk? if yes, what items? and would you sell some of them for a profit? i am asking because i looked at your video of the us gi neck gaiters and it seemed that you had bought those too in bulk, so i thought there might be other items that you bought in bulk. if you will not sell any items then do you know and can you share where good genuine surplus gear (some used and some unused) can be purchased at good prices? thank you danielmitchell5814.
Very nice I need to get one of them so many different uses it's the perfect size thank you for sharing I really need to get one I wish stores around me had things like that
Just ordered one in UCP. Gonna dye it dark green because the UCP pattern itself is great. Not so much the original colors. I plan on putting my Rain Poncho/Shelter half in there or my Goretex jacket.
i love the military gear as well bro. plenty of room in the pack! i got a frame that is by Allen its not military alice but im trying to find a bag that will work with it.. i do have a large alice pack with frame as well but the bag is a lil sun faded

bomb proof? Dang! So when I blow up, at least they'll know it was me because of the pack LOL 😂😂😂 Don't mean to make fun of things but that was literally the first thought that popped into my head (my kindergarten teacher tried to teach me "always think before you speak" LOL). Too late now! That is a really good looking pack, I like the drain hole in it. It looks like a LOT of stuff can be fit in there! I like it a lot!
it's a pita, I can't seem to find any of these waist packs in human-friendly colors. And if, they ask 50 or more. I can get one in couch camo (UCP) for 15 though xD
I've noticed that. I can pick up ACU stuff cheap as sin. Cool for me, I'm not trying to hide while camping. A lot of NOS available. Although, the new multicam looks pretty good. I kinda reminds me of the old frog camo on some my dad's camping gear from back in the day.
It is better known as a cover for grandma's couch. That's all that camo pattern was good for. It matched nothing in nature for camouflage, that's why G.I.'s hated it.
Hello, I’m curious, Will the waist pack, attach to the upper single molle row, on top of the assault pack? I know they waist packs have the 2 snap buttons on the bottom, and was wondering if they will align evenly to attach the waist pack. Thanks!
SurvivorMetalMan oh yeah tremendously cheaper to just buy one. I just like the quality and warranty of Raging River trading co. At the end of the day my bank account will only permit buying one lol
Good luck. Coyote brown is a USMC kinda thing. Some molle ii pouches can be found in coyote brown, but those are the ones that the Marine Corps also uses. For the packs, the Corps uses a completely different system. When it comes to the molle rucksacks, ive only seen them in woodland and dessert BDU camo, that awful UCP "camo", and the newer OCP camo.
Have you ever really ran an assault pack with waist pack molle'd in? It sucks. The ends of the mills tabs dig in your back side fiercely. Worst of all, zipper opening is pointing down, so your junk will fall out unbeknownst to you. As a stand alone, it's great.

Invaluable piece of gear, as is the sustainment pouches. Surprised how much gear u can it in both. Great video 🤘

Good review.
I picked up a woodland one about 8 yrs ago and use it on the bottom of my medium ALICE for extras.

ZZ outdoors thanks ZZ! I’m heading over to watch your newest right now.
i have one of these painted red and attached to my forestry vest. Excellent for storing warming layers or goretex
Just bought two of these from a Militaria store from a Marine. I use one for a bicycling pack and the other in my BOB.

Awsome video brother 👍 👌 🙌 👏 😀
You can fit a TCOP tent inside the waist pack and mount that to your ruck or assault or patrol pack.
Getting my surplus assault pack this week. Will Rit Dye it. Good content over the 3 vids I've watched. Thanks. Subbed
Sweet! It’ll for sure blend in better. Much thanks!
Nice man. MOLLE or ALICE you just cant go wrong....I have some of both
Good video man
I Like The Woodland Camouflage Military Waist Pack.
I do love military surplus items, for the reasons you already stated. I've got a good amount of gear, but you can always use a spare. lol
fumasterchu12 yeah man, it’s good stuff. I figure, if it’s good enough for combat, then it’s good enough for everything else.
Good video! I was thinking of buying one and putting it on my flak (in marine corps)
Im Here Often thanks my friend. It’s a solid piece of gear.
That would make a great hunting / fishing pack .
Nice one 👍 good bit of kit 😊
Jonah 365 outdoors thanks brother!
i got that pack last summer, Nice pack, i like it
Richard Crabtree solid, bomb proof, lots of room for a small pack. Thanks!
Your hair looks cool dude!
My thought was to have the fire starting pouch and the water filter pouch in that for easy access without having to open the main pack to find either.
Looks like the old shelter halves and pulls would probably fit perfect in there.
Living Frugal And Prepping they might, I have some, I might try it. Thanks man.
Your right about the zippers...they actually last..nice pack...I almost want one for that same purpose. TFS
Triumph Screen Printing their good stuff, can’t beat good military gear. Thanks brother.

It seems to be a great pack and i like military gear as well because it is bulletproof Equipment and it has been tested so that is reliable gear.
Jöran Jäderberg Exactly, I love military gear
And i have more trust in military gear than civilian made gear and when i can afford it i buy some more of that stuff.
That's NOT bulletproof, believe me!
Anyone know where I could get the USGI Molle II Waist Pack in multicam?
Tac-tie-cool fanny pack!
Have you tried fitting a Gen 1 goretex parka inside?
Mine fits if you roll it into the hood.
Wonder if my mummy sleeping bag would fit in one of them, then added to my medium rucksack.

Isn't there a sleep system addition for the MOLLE II out there too? WD 40 would lube those zippers up, should help.
Yes, and it’s a nice bag too.
Hard to talk about bags huh lol. Very nice. May have to add one of those to my gear list, maybe see if I can get one made by Raging River trading co.

Do you think you could thread the buckles under the loops on a pair of jeans and use it as a belt
It may be possible, but it’s a pretty wide belt, so they may not fit.

The US Military has several different packs in different sizes.
In total, from largest to smallest: large rucksack, medium rucksack, assault pack, and waist pack
