I've been dryfitting my first rod together for a couple days now after work. Mostly nervous to mess up so I'm going super slow. I say that to show I have zero experience pulling epoxy out of bottles with a syringe. However I've doctored cattle for I don't even know how many years. Obviously the viscosity is very different but with meds I fill the syringe with air and shove that air into the bottle and it helps to refill the syringe quickly and generally without bubbles. Is that appropriate for epoxy or no?
Thanks for the clarification on the Gen2 wrapper foot pedal. I am very interested in purchasing one of the pedals. I went to The rod shop site, at least I think I was at the right place, and couldn't find the pedal. If you would please give me more info on exactly where to purchase I would appreciate it. Thanks
Wassup dude I am building a rod forge 7’ medium and I put the grips on and balanced it butt unfortunately I missed one of the weights in the blank and it’s floating around, so my question is how do you suggest getting it out
Rod forge builds fantastic blanks. I switched from. Nfc to exclusively rod forge. A wholesale knocks a good amount off the cost. I can order a blank on monaday morning and have it delivered Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. The blanks are more sensitive than the NFC blanks I was using, and there lighter (HTD vs Xray or c6o2)
Silver on clear comes from larry at LRT group in Florida. He sells the printers and tape. He caters specifically to rod builders. Awesome guy.
Thanks. I just looked him and I'm going to call him tomorrow.

Never tried it. It's not difficult to pull epoxy. You just have to be accurate.
Thanks Lee....
Anytime Bob.
That tool Lee is an electronic tool.

It is.
Is the Singer pedal without the N the same. I see one with a T also
I'm not sure
2 questions- Where did you get the foot pedal, can you share a link. Will this work with the CRB Gen2 power wrapper.
Yes, it's on my G2, but I'm having trouble finding another one. Video explanation coming soon to a RUclips channel near you...😂
Any update on where to get the foot pedal for the G2

If you used lead to balance, you can drill out the butt and start again.
@@fdxcustomrods thx man that’s what my stepdad suggested too
