I love the maybelline colour tattoo cream eyeshadow pots. On and on bronze is similar to the rimmel stick Ruth is using but my absolute fav is creme de rose it’s a very blah nude pink but it seems to magically brighten my eyes and is really good as a base. Once it’s set it goes nowhere 👍 I hope they don’t discontinue it!
Essence lash princess Mascara is $4.99 in the US and £3.30 if I stand correct in the UK . It is one of the most amazing budget buys. Both the original green tube and the waterproof give you some the thickest and fullest lashes you will ever see. I’ve had people ask me if I was wearing false eyes lashes multiple times. The only down side is that the tube dries out right at the 3 month mark.
OMG! I have one of the ScandalEyes (a light beige one tho) and I had no clue they could be sharpened!! Thank you Ruth and Nadine! And I adore the RT brushes - I have small face and features and frame, so lots of brush handle sometimes bothers me.
Been through several sharpeners, but found the Charlotte tilbury sharpener is the best one for eye pencils with plastic content. It also works for the Nyx eyeshadow pencils which is notoriously hard to sharpen.

Two of my favorite British RUclipsrs. I don't know what Nadine's house looks like, but Ruth has a house right out of Sense and Sensibility, including a massive sculpture. The Loreal Unlimited mascara is great and now I have to get that brow gel. The sharpening debacle is one I can relate to and I did it with a Nars pencil, which is not a cheap. Going over to Ruth's channel now.

I personally think 26 pounds is way too much for Powder Wonder from Beauty Pie. In my humble opinion the Nyx translucent powder is way better and way cheaper, it comes in both loose and compact. Other alternatives that I have not yet tried, but looks promising/cheaper are: Elf Perfect Finish HD Powder and Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Porless.

PS I have found that only certain sharpeners work on plastic pencils. You have to use the right one, otherwise the pencil end breaks like Ruth's did. Emma x
I bought the L'oreal plump and set brow artist after watching this and I have to say I think it's terrible! Looked great when applied but later in the day it formed gluey brown lumps in my brow. I was picking out gluey sticky clumps that felt like PVA! I only applied it sparingly so it wasn't that it was product overload. Not for me!
Nadine, I need your advice, please. First of all, I love watching you and love your knowledge. I'm soon to be 71 years old but 35 in my head ( as long as I don't catch sight of myself in the mirror ) but I desperately need to get my act together with skincare & makeup again. I always wear lipstick but for the last 12 months or more I have been suffering from very dry flaky lips and it is impossible to keep my lipstick on, not just because it just disappears but most of the time it goes patchy, very dry and looks a real mess. I had blood tests done and all came back ok. No amount of lip balms help and believe me I have used several. I heard you talk about La Roche Posay and Ameliorate ( I googled the latter and saw you can get lip treatment also). Do you think they would be worth a try or could you advise anything else? I would really like to wear lipstick again x

A S I’ve found mine recently, I’m 47, it’s the La Mer Serum foundation. I got a few samples to make sure I liked it and it’s the most beautiful foundation I’ve ever tried. It’s even usurped my beloved chanel vita lumiere which I thought would have to be prised from my cold, dead hands lol 😂 I’ve never known a foundation like it. I use a lot less than my Chanel one so that’s how I’ve justified it to myself

NYX finishing powder has ONLY 100% pure mineral silica in it just like the very expensive finishing powders.
If I wear eye crayon/cream eye shadow they ALWAYS crease. I use a primer underneath too, any tips or suggestions please?
Mascara should have a clear strip o you can see the product.

You need a special makeup pencil sharpener. Dont know why its different but it is. Mines an ancient Body Shop one circa 1990.
