Seph, you will not believe the “Man in the Mirror” performance from this tour. The level of ovation he receives is equivalent to that of the entrance with Jam. In fact, after the song ends, there is an even bigger surprise than the jump at the triumphal entry.
It's incredible how this song, is so current these days and unfortunately nothing has changed in the world yet. 😭

See how beautiful the lyrics are? Michael was just beautiful inside and outside. He didn't just made popular music but he also made emotional and impactful songs about the earth, children and faith. How many artists do that nowadays?? And people are comparing him to Taylor Swift or Chris Brown or Beyonce. This is pure joke. There's no one touching Michael's legacy and fame. my elementary school class sung Heal The World at our June 1993 graduation. my music teacher, Mr. Romeo, taught the rest of the class the lyrics. i knew the lyrics since 1991. i even corrected the teacher several times over mistakes in the lyrics he wrote. i was honored to represent Michael (as a fan) with his song at our graduation.

Michael had a beautiful heart ❤ what a lovely intro with the girl dancing with the earth miniature 😊 his voice is so angelic, he always seemed happy singing this song 😍 I'm pretty sure in an interview he was asked if he could only perform one of his songs for the rest of his life which one would it be and he said this one ❤❤ such an inspiring message
My favorite song by Michael when he talks about things related to the world, people, things we do, nature, anyway, when Michael wrote this song he was way ahead of his time, he always thought about the future. 🙌🏻🙏🏻🌍👑🤩❤️

Omg this song always make me tear up!! If you noticed the last few songs have all been the most impactful and emotional songs! And the live version with the kids holding hands around the globe, how beautiful is that?? Really warms my heart, what artist does that nowadays?? Michael made art with such beautiful message about love peace and unity, that's all he ever wanted! He truly cared, the world needs more people like him, actually I believe Michael would be very saddened and heartbroken if he saw the state of the world today if he was still alive 😞😢😭❤❤

MJ was a great activist, many of his songs bothered politicians and powerful people because he sang about injustices, poverty, racism, wars, the power of money, ecology... I guess that's why they made his life very difficult and tried to silence him for years with his biggest nightmare: child abuse allegations. But his songs today continue to have the same meaning as they did 30 years ago even though he is not here. The babygirl in his arms is Karen's daughter, his makeup artist since Thriller.

Michael definitely learned that straining his voice can have irreparable damage so the pre recorded performance definitely help him maintain his voice despite damage. Where as other celebrities voices withered at much faster rate with age. Even just months before he died, he still sounded like his younger Michael despite him using his natural deeper voice at age 50.
fax, the bad tour was already too taxing for his voice. MJ had mastered his high vocal range but 69 shows for the dangerous tour alone is insane. MJ is still a male, 90% of his songs are higher then where his natural tone sits. Singing like that 69 times back to back with like 1 or 2 days as a break is gonna take a toll on your vocal chords.
Thats why we dont see Dimash doing tours with a million shows like this, he does a set amount, he does like 5-20 ahows, where he gives his best vocals and then he lets his voice rest and focuses on practisisng and improving his voice further, which is why his voice is so legendary. Mariah Carey also doesnt do too many shows like that.
beyonce who also does like over 50 shows also switches between live and lipsync sometimes since she sings while dancing too.
since they all like to push their vocals so hard they have to chose, either they sing live and save their voice by using lip sync or having less shows or they sing live all the time no matter how taxing and their voices will end up raspy and damaged by the time theyre 40 years old, no longer able to sing their songs properly.
MJ just had too many fans who wanted to see him so his label would lowkey push him to tour even tho he was tired of it and said that the bad tour was gonna be his last tour.
They were not gonna let him miss out on making millions of dollars around the world.
I personally think that after some vocal damage is when his speaking voice was lowered so between bad and dangerous there was a significant drop in his speaking voice and then it stayed just about that low and didn’t change much until his passing because he started to lip sync because if you remember in his younger years he only sung live from j5 until bad

Info on the vocals- It was lip synced almost all the way through the main song. It didn't switch when you thought it did, that was actually still playback. Michael started singing live when he was walking around the globe with the kids

It was clear that he had to protect his voice, but I would have at least wished that he had recorded the live vocals beforehand so that it would at least sound live. Oh well.
