- TESTAMENT were another lost hero of the golden 80's. They hailed from Ireland and were active from 1982 to 1987 and among a number of cover tunes by reputed metal bands of the time they managed to also record two quality demos, in the spirit of the prevalent NWOBHM movement of the time.
We were able to track down the original drummer of the band and founding member, Jim Carlin who provided us with great photos and memorabilia of the band, so you should expect another great NWOBHM reissue that consists of the band's "Mutilated Limb" plus their less known demo '87 as bonus.
The song "Breaker" was chosen among the songs featured in the reissue, as it's a great tune that perfectly shows the band's potential.
The reissue will be available on limited edition vinyl and CD and will come with remastered sound, lyrics and band story and of course various photos and flyers from the past in the booklet.
TESTAMENT were:
John Harv Harbinson - Vocals
Michael Cullen - Guitars
Mark Noble - Guitars
Paul Heaney - Bass
Jim Carlin - Drums

I know there are two bands named Slayer (UK & US). Now there’s two bands named Testament?!
Right! I was expecting something different.
I had not heard of this Testament.
Well, not "now" - these guys formed in 1982, before the thrash giants. So there's been two bands named Testament for almost 40 years!
Yes
actually there are 3 bands named Testament, another one from Czechia, but short-lived only releasing 1 album "Ve spárech zla" (2002).
