Welcome to the Belly dance Golden Era workout! After the success of my belly dance Golden Era course, I decided to share some of it here with you on RUclips! We will be learning some Samia Gamal Golden Era Arms as well as Naima Akefs figure 8 wide hips. So get ready for the cameras in my Egyptian Golden Era Belly dance workout!
About my Videos!
Belly dancing is one of the best ways to workout, get fit, lose weight, and feel confident. By doing my workouts you will get toned, drop pounds, and learn the beautiful art of belly dancing. You will be using muscles you probably didn’t even know existed, helping you get strong.
Are you a Beginner? That’s great! Although you might find the moves challenging at first, you will soon get stronger and become more familiar with them. Do the workout a few times, and you will surprise yourself. Now let’s dance!

Thank you for sharing these workouts. It was very helpful, I used to belly dance years ago and I still love it, I stopped because my focus is not to do it professionally, I’m a wife, mom, business owner and there’s just so many things to take care of, but I definitely want to get back in shape and the best way for me is through belly dancing. It’s not as fun when trying to figure out a belly dancing workout. So thank you so much for making it easier for me to follow your workout steps to get back in shape. This was definitely a workout for me but very fun. I believe this is something I can do. Thank you Leilah! 😃

Thank you for your videos. Its so much fun to dance with you. I tried bellydance once in a class, but as in every school, the teachers, philosophy and approaches differ and I couldnt really see myself with the teachers style. It wasnt me. But with you it feels fun yet challenging. I am looking forward for your next online course since the ones that you offer now are already booked out. Though I am not an english native I really prefer to learn from you

I always love shaking my hips, so this year, I decided to learn belly dancing. It's been a lot of fun, and quite a workout, but by golly I'm like all over the place right now trying to keep up with you. Lol. And it's not even that complex! 😅😅😅

Leilah, I love following along with your videos for exercise. Gets my heart rate up and is a great core workout! Plus learning about different styles of belly dance is so interesting. I especially love Saidi and would love if you make more videos of that style. One question: is it cultural appropriation to belly dance if my family is not middle eastern? I’m from a Mexican-American family. But I read recently that no white people should belly dance. I pass as white in the US. I’d never want to disrespect any culture. I was curious about your opinion. Thank you!
