Snow Sweeping using a Rotary Broom on a Kubota B2261 Compact Tractor after outflow modification

This the second part of the video on the front mounted rotary broom to remove and clean the pavement from snow. In this part of the video the outflow of the rotary broom is modified to prevent the outflow messing the implement and tractor with dirt.
The compact tractor is a Kubota B2261 4WD with 26 hp and hydrostatic transmission with original front hitch and front PTO.
The rotary broom is the 150 cm M-sweep from Mulder, which is PTO driven, with hydraulic angle adjustment and a quick attach A-frame.

Goede aanpassing Sjef! De sneeuw wordt netjes vooruit geworpen. Hier in ZW Frankrijk trouwens geen vlokje sneeuw en ook (nog) geen nachtvorst...

Dankjewel Robert! Een heel stuk beter inderdaad. Nu nog een keer de constructie uitvoeren in een blijvende oplossing. De winters in ZW Frankrijk zullen wel wat zachter zijn?

@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries Ja, dat scheelt wel een stukje. De zon heeft hier duidelijk meer kracht. De winters zijn gemiddeld korter en het voorjaar begint dan ook duidelijk wat eerder, vergeleken met Nederland. Van de week was het zelfs al een beetje voorjaarsachtig. Op dit moment is het trouwens wel ietsje kouder aan het worden, maar geen sneeuw of ijs hier.

@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries Absoluut Sjef. Andere overwegingen waren o.a. de mooie natuur, veel ruimte, goedkopere huizen, lagere belastingen etc.

You have more and more implements coming. What about the mid-deck-mower, did You consider this allready? What is the cost in Your country for middle deck, if You checked that - because my research shows, that the price can be very different in each country. BTW the device works great.

I didn't consider the mid deck mower, because I prefer front and rear sided mower decks. I have had a riding mower with a mid deck for many years, which works great for normal lawn type of mowing. The disadvantage of a mid deck mower is that you can only mow at the sections you can actually run over with your tractor. For a rear mounted or front mounted deck you can also put the mower below a low hanging branche or into some vegetation without the tractor driving into it. You can see me do this in the videos with the front mounted flail mower for instance in some rougher areas. A mid deck is about twice the price of a rear deck and about the same in manoeuvrability. Front decks are less in manoeuvrability but their advantage is that you first mow before you ride over it with your tractor, which I especially like for a flail mower.
