Not anymore. It has been ruled that if it says "for each [x], you must either do [y] or [z]", it is a separate choice for each instance of x, and so you can no longer choose to take 10 horror from Crisis of Faith and cancel them all with a single Deny Existence, because you would get 1 horror 10 times.
List video idea: Top X cards I forget are in play. Up to you if this is a good enough idea for a video. I’d enjoy hearing stories about cards that get overlooked during gameplay. I can imagine Bryn saying he’s been defeated and Travis saying “even with the Talisman of Protection I gave you?”
I am loving these videos as someone who’s just a little ahead of Erik in terms of experience. The balance between Erik’s questioning and thought processes, and Justin answers and clarifications is just great
I didn’t really think of it until you brought it up at the opening of the video, but it is actually just very interesting to hear the newer player experience and perspective on anything Arkham. A Dunwich retrospective contrasting the experiences of a newer and a more experienced player seems like an intuitive choice for a future video.
I love these Eric videos! With parallel investigators, you don’t have to take advanced signature card/weakness. You can still take signatures from the core set (same with core investigators taking advanced signatures). When talking about parallel Agnes you made it sound as if she has to take the weakness that costs 4
While true, you get the advanced Heirloom that way, which is much better than regular heirloom in Parallel Agnes. And also, to go further and pull back the curtain a bit. I don't like the adding layers of technical complexity when it comes to discussing parallel investigators, so when I talk about them, I will only speak about parallel front and back and their advanced cards. I don't want to have to asterisk every sentence for them, so I view a parallel investigator as one specific all-in form of their kit.
Yeah, I can see why Proland would be intimidating, but it's absolutely worth the squeeze as playing with him makes one a better player through the process of mastering his restrictions and knowing when to break them.
Eric should try to judge scenarios based on just the titles alone. Also, I’d like to know their early ranking of each of the five classes. Maybe their most anticipated investigator from each class. Has Eric seen the Edge of the Earth investigators yet? I’m curious to hear their early opinion on those wild deck building requirements.
Eric: a completely valid point about how Sister Mary's sig weakness can be a huge problem
Deny Existance: allow me to introduce myself

@@Neescherful Where was it ruled?
@@Retrodaniel it‘s on the arkhamdb faq for Terrible Secret
@@Retrodaniel It's also in the latest FAQ document in a section that is iirc called "For Each/For Every."

@@PlayingBoardGames I see your point. That’s absolutely fair.

"I'm getting hysterical right now" Welcome to the club, you are officially not a beginner anymore.
Always more Russell!
I'm excited to see Eric's evolution.
Calvin Wright was one of the most fun decks I've ever played.
I would love to see Erik's reaction to you telling him various epic fails or epic successes from your previous campaigns.
Russ just lurves Justin - it's so sweet to see! X
Enjoying these "new player" videos - very informative .
(And ginger cats FTW! 😁)

Loved your Uzumaki shirt!
Thanks!
Can’t wait for Eric to play all of these back-to-back in the future! 😉
Calvin is by far the most rewarding investigator!
Feels so nice to thread the needle and barely survive, while becoming unstoppable
Will the plays with Erik get posted on RUclips?
They will! They'll be starting to release very soon.
Isn't Tommy the best user of the Red-Gloved Man? Especially in Carcosa where you can swear with H- word?)
I think Tommy is in the top 3, but I believe Amanda and Preston are better with him.
when new player gameplay?
It'll start coming in early May.
I love Eric's view on the game so far! Just want to make sure that Eric's pronouns are they/them? I don't want to offend.
Yup, Eric's pronouns are they/them. :)
