We need to employ a more advanced version of this on the swampy bend on "Bunny". Well meaning people have added logs to walk over perpendicular to the drainage path and created a series of dams. Great video.

Preach @kristab8718 that section of Bunny is a disaster and will be until a longer term solution is put in place. It holds water like a sponge thanks to those logs. Although it was just fixed up a bit so is riding better. But will 100% turn into a wet shit show eventually. Boycott wood when looking for drainage solutions. :) Thanks for watching!

Crazy you can hear sirens while in the woods and on a trail.

Well this trail is right beside a hospital so it gets a lot of sirens, air ambulances too. However, as trails go here in Toronto's The Don, this one is remarkably quiet. There are quite a few beside a very busy highway..... urban riding at it's best lol. It's funny that you notice, but perhaps stranger that we don't anymore. Amazing what humans adjust to, because yes I'd prefer to ride in the quiet woods, but here we are. Thanks for watching!

This is why environmental groups and government agencies are studying ways to ban off road vehicles, including bikes. Users cause immense damage to habitat, increase erosion, and damage habitat.

You should check out what logging(hardwood here) does. They bulldoze through the deepest roots, creating eroding highways through forest, just to make cabinets for the wealthy. Never heard a peep from conservationists about the enormous soil erosion lasting for years. Reminds me of the days when skateboarding was banned in thousands of towns across the US, including neighborhoods. Miserable people upset that younger people are having fun.
