Is it just me but is anyone else having trouble with the sides of the tv not capturing the colors? I’m using a 55 inch tv and I have the camera in the center on top. Only when the color is near the center does it capture it but at all the way in the sides it does not :( please help

@@gray_7 I know this is an old comment, but maybe this will help others if they’re having the same issue 🤷🏻♂️ There is a setting that I haven’t seen anyone talk about in any of the calibration videos I’ve seen, but in the app where you adjust relative brightness and color calibration, directly below that (and above the game/movie modes) there is “Part” and “All” modes. Make sure this is set to “Part” if you want the colors to adjust to what is being displayed around the edges. “All” just sorta takes an average of the screen and applies it evenly to each strip, so you don’t get the same effect as you’re expecting to see. “Part” is the one that tracks to individual LEDs. Also, don’t forget to adjust the white balance to be cooler. It really favors reds way too hard, so pull that back towards the blue in the app.
Well those of you that have bigger that have like 70 and bigger you don’t get a good as effect as you would on a smaller TV I should’ve waited til they made the ones for 70 inchesBut it’s still cool though
on my 65 tv it doesn't work properly. the camera cannot see the colors at the edges (even having calibrated correctly with the camera's viewing position)... it only shows the colors in the center of the screen and at the edge close to the camera. bad experience
Great video thanks! But damn Govee calibration sucks hard. And its supposed to be RBCI blah blah blah, but Govee is a 90% purple and blue circle jerk. Im going to return mine and wait for something better
I‘m sorry to hear that 🤷🏻my GOVEE was gone with my „new“ tv. I don’t miss it 🙈 I switched to a bass shaker for more fun 🤩 The picture of my oled Tv is amazing. That’s why I don’t need GOVEE anymore 🙊😃

Can u tell me how to get mine to follow the lights around the tv when doing a test video because it changes colors to the movie but when I put on a RUclips video to test them it does not follow them

Same as me it’s only the part where the round balls go around just the sides won’t dw text but top and bottom is fine and k tried every trick to get it right

Half way into this video when the colors are circulating I have no lights..only the video begging is my colors are picking up..wth?
Try to set brightness up to 60 % and saturation to 0 😉

I can't get my colors right. Especially on the bottom. And part of my sides on the top have a light red to them even when I have a solid white screen

When it black does light dim completely or there some light left ?
There’s some light left 😉you can’t see this light in my videos because I put the leds more inside of background from Tv 😉

@@SaPaSPaul I just don’t get how I did it at least 15-20 time both 21/9 and 16/9 and doesn’t pickup the side or bottom just the top
the fact that my govee products dont show black in screen sync mode💀

The AMBIVISION System does a much better job doing this than the Govee!
(I happen to have purchased both units!)

Also turn white balance down to 10-15% and saturation to 0-15% titrate for taste.
