You both have agreed to that non-traditional therapy that from the start had you both crossing boundaries (even going out for dinner and the therapist taking the patient to the psychiatrist's home afterwards). You should have went to Dr. Garvin, if you wanted an objective/unrelated therapist that respects boundaries.

If James had put down a phone number for his mother, would Taylor still had went there in person to get the mother's perspective, regardless of the destiny (Scotland, Africa, Asia, Australia....) or would have been an international phone call enough?

Funny. Brooke is now the one reminding Ridge that he is married (and that he has to consider his wife when planing to come over) AND that Ridge can't be upset with Taylor not coming home for one night, when Ridge came home late for the last 6 weeks.
In that SL, that trip will help Taylor to solve the mystery. In real life you can sue your therapist if he /she talks about you with relatives or friends "against" your clear wishes - violation of confidentiality and boundaries.
