Pre-ordering is bad for your wallet, I have spoken 💰💰💰

I'm unlikely to buy a new BF.... Two cold showers with the last two... Money is hard to earn to pay for mediocre games... Unless Dice delivers a real triple A game and not a demo a game project, like the last two.

This hits home. I'd add if I may, this issue is a gaming industry issue, not just a BF franchise concern, at least IMO. We've ALL likely been BURNED by other terrible pre-order decisions. Most of us smart ones answer as my lad has here.

I totally agree with you that people like you, streamers and content creators can pre-order to produce content and give us your thoughts on the game as early as possible, especially if pre-ordering gives you earlier access than other players, so that you can warn people if the game is bad.
I think that generally speaking though, the average joe should not be pre-ordering. If the game reaches enough sales from pre-orders, especially after marketing hype, the developers can take their foot off the gas pedal early and they have less incentive to ensure the finished product is high quality, because have already got what they want.

The way the video game industry is currently valuing profit more than anything. I don’t have any hope. The CEO of the new battlefield game needs to be an artist not a businessman. That ain’t gonna happen.

I'd preorder an updated BF1 but any other BF not likely.

The next battlefield should be modern again and delta force is currently showing what a shooter with a modern setting should look like. that will be a problem for dice. But for me it's the atmosphere and the immersion that defines BF1 and that I would like to see in the next game.

Never. Will gladly buy it if it's good. Will also gladly pass if it's trash again. Will gladly wait it out and see.

As a content creator like you it makes sense to preorder since you probably get a few days of early access.
You don’t want to wait for the official start because all the other YT channels will have played the game and talked about it already.
For my part I won’t preorder even if I have to wait 1-2 weeks before I can play the game but I want to make sure the game is worth buying.
Did the mistake twice but not next time.
P.S.: Didn’t DICE wanted to update the PC version of BF1 to the latest Anti-Cheat-Version?
Other channels reported that a few weeks ago…

EA Dice won’t be able to sleep at night if they don’t add in some wokeness. Game play will be secondary to their new religion.
    No way I’d preorder.

No, I will not be pre ordering the next BF title. The last couple of releases have been pitiful IMHO. I am going to wait until I see positive reviews of the game from creators such as yourself. EA/Dice has led people down the road taking their money releasing a game before it was ready and the players had to deal with "Updates are coming" They also made promises such as maps or features that never made it to the game.
