It's been a while since I've read Diana Wynne Jones, but I remember describing her books as "90% setup then 10% everything coming together all at once like crazy". I had a good time with them because I knew there would be payoff, but I recognize why people would dnf or get bored. This is a fun challenge, and as much as I'd love to try it, I would also definitely forget to start or stop a timer 😂 Especially since I tend to read in little bits throughout the day whenever I can squeeze it in vs several hr sprints.

I really like the idea of doing a timed actual reading of 24 hours rather than within a 24 hour day, much more relaxed way of doing it. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
