    Arnold Strongman Classic 2020: we went to the Underworld and replicated the infamous Sisyphus stone, the athletes will have to roll it up this 1:1 replica mountain we built in the arnold festival area

      And why not!! Lol. I remember watching netflix presentation on this. It was incredible especially the history behind it. Was hoping Larry Wheels would lift the original stone while he was there and leave knowing he met the conditions of a real man from iceland. Haha..

      this event is not so good for him. Lots of strongmans will be able to do it, obviously. I liked last year shoulder event more.

      If it was shouldering or pressing sure, but I am assuming, like the whole reason for the stone being famous, they will be picking it up and doing laps which Mateusz isnt really his strength(nor weakness he is in the middle with events like that)

      Being well rounded is what wins strongman. If you get 3rd in every event you will win. That being said if Mateusz can get it on his shoulder he would probably win. Dont know if that's allowed or even possible though. For all we know he could have practiced for this alot already. I saw another video where he was practicing carries with the coffin box. Pretty similar.

      This would already be huge sport without steroids. But steroids will take care of that this will not be huge as other sports. I love that you can use drugs so there is no fake natties like in other sport.

      Tutte Turunen Oh please, without steroids it would be boring as hell. The point of strongman is to push himself as much as possible and for this purpose steroids are necessary these days, along with genetics. Do you honestly think anyone can lift 400kg+ off the ground without steroids?

    Plot twist: that stone maker got lazy and just spray painted the foam model and stuck it in a box and shipped it out. They wont find out until the first competitor picks it up and walks 10 miles with it.

This sport deserves so much more attention then what it receives. I love that your videos delve into the history, the culture and even the fantasy of the sport.     Iceland is one of the most beautiful natural lands of all the world. The scenic views and elevations are wondrous, the people are really kind, and the roundabouts are long and confusing.
    Definitely will be back, and then some!

    Greetings from the Netherlands. I want to thank you for all the work you do to improve the life of lifters worldwide. I'm looking forward to this year's Arnold. It's actually already started, but tomorrow the deadlift event will start and I believe the log for reps? Anyway, I hope to find a working live stream to witness it from my home country. Keep up the awesome work.

      Back then it was just easier to lift a four hundred pound rock than it was to;
      1. Figure out how to build a pen of wood.
      2. sink it deep enough into the ground to avoid it being broken out of or into.
      3. Afford to make metal hinges and latch's
      4. Assemble said pen
      5. Guard said pen from poachers and predators cause of openings between planks.
      Or just use a old house foundation made of stone and move rock's as needed and use one as a gate.

      There's very litle wood on Iceland. So it was a better use of recourses to use a stone as a gate. Beacuse there's tons of stones on Iceland

    I can’t till the Arnold 3019, when they have to lift off in the Rogue space shuttle and hold the Earth up for next version of the Atlas Stone. This video is pretty cool as well. By the way, I hear the Rogue space shuttle will be a steal of a deal on Cyber Mon. No shipping, you can only use it where it is.
