That and her League loading screen music when she was released. But seeing Imagine Dragons in Zaun and Bea Miller's welcome to the playground as the songs chosen just felt off imo. Again nothing against the songs and artists but they just stood out like a sore thumb to me.
I am curious if Arcane is going to be a total lore revamp or some alternate story, because as it stands the Vi we know in Arcane is *miles away* from becoming Miss Police Brutality.

Fun fact: She and her two gauntlets weight 8140 pounds. presuming the 140 is just her and the 8000 pounds is both gauntlets, that means one gauntlet is 4000 pounds or compared to the most weight lifted by a real life woman in the Olympics being 422 pounds using both arms during a clean & jerk lift, making her roughly 9.5 times stronger then the strongest woman on earth WITH ONE ARM. double that and it's an impressive 19 times stronger...and she still moves around quickly and throws punches like it's NOTHING to her meaning she can presumably lift MORE then that. Demaciano I know that now, but that just powers her mechanical fists, which are attached to HER arms, she'd still be LIFTING the weight which is what I'm getting at.
gaaraofthedesert801 I guess not, with that strenght plus the enforcer suit, she could have a body strong as a demacian arcane trained warriors (jarvan, garen, xin, highlords, vanguard members, etc.) and stronger than highly evolved/trained physical body (braum, illaoi, mundo, singed, warwick). The power to lift comes from her enforcer suit, her body is like the "brain" and the bone structure. Vi must have her physical body stronger than cait, jinx or even ekko (regarding that ekko body is from 14 old, despite his age) because she used to fight when was a criminal, but not all that, ezreal or jayce's body (even jayce being a cientist kind) might be strong as her. Jayce suit is focused to lift and handle the hammer, as vi's to move the fists, but jayce's hammer is enhanced with techmaturgy, being his gear more powerful than vi's.. But all this just in lore wise, obviously (if in game things was to follow the lore wise, zilean or bard could 1shot all the matches happening now).
Prediction: Vi will enter the fighting arena to this song in Season 2. EDIT: Oh well, it was a fun theory. Based on the clip Netflix just released, they went with a different punk song.

I slowed it down and she only says 3 syllables at the "Friends as the law" part, as you put it. I'm not so sure myself what she actually says, but it seems more like she's saying "Friends'the law". She's slurring the words as other singers do to make is sound smoother.
I remember when I first downloaded this game... I waited for 3 hours for my slow-ass computer to install the damn thing. I had to re-install the game because my piece of shit toaster of a computer corrupted a bunch of the files, making me wait for another 8 hours. I rejoiced when the installation completed... and was met with a patch screen that made me wait a whopping 10 hours because of my God-awful internet. After literal DAYS of waiting I was finally brought to this epic login screen... And I waited an extra hour just so I could hear the song play over and over again. True story :)
Came back here after hearing Riot CEO Nicolo talk about the story that led to this login screen and all the next, and taht further led to get Jinxed and now Arcane. Thanks you Christian for bringing this to us, and thank you Fortiche Studio for making it a dream come true.
Since Arcane season 1 was about the fall/death of Powder into Jinx, her theme was able to fit in pretty digetically. Maybe season 2 will be about the rise of Vi and they can fit this theme in as well. My mind goes directly to a police force montage, maybe after another timeskip or something towards the end of t he show in this hypothetical season 2 idea.
I remember this was the first login screen I saw when I first started playing league, this amped me up and drew me immediately into the game. It's great watching Arcane and seeing Vi when she was younger and then become who she is.
When she was young (start of Arcane), she hated Piltover's enforcer's for a good reason. She was a kid and only had the narrow view of her close friends and family. As she grew (during Arcane), her vision started to change and she started to see that both sides are in the wrong some times. While following Caitlyn she started to see that Zaun was way also corrupted and also started to love Caitlyn (in a way or another). That love made her understand Cait and realize with her that most problems come from the higher ups (both from Piltover and Zaun). Their duo is a perfect match because Cait is the brain and Vi is the brawn. Vi holds the bad guys while Cait asks the questions.
I remember when I first started playing League she was the new champion and this was the login screen that greeted me. I don't play the game anymore because life happened but can't deny it has a special place in my heart. Tried so many competitive online games but this was the only one where I reached an extremely high rank (Master Tier). Initially played ADC when I first started with the game, mained Jinx for a while and transitioned to jungle where I first mained Vi. So lucky that they were the main characters in Arcane. Fired up the game again some few hours ago for just a single match because of the Arcane hype and played Vi. Really takes me back.

Havent played League of Toxicity in over 2 years but still watch their Music videos because they're awesome and especially these older ones remind me of a better time.
I really haven't been as excited for any other champs as I was for VI. Having followed all the shared progress of her, I was stroked to suddenly see this splash and song made for her!
I think this is the one. This song was such a hit back then, this piece led Riot about the music videos, clips and production. I think this song right here is the reason why we now have the Warriors, Legends Never Die, RISE and others.
Vi was the Champion that gave me my very first penta she's also the first jungler champ I have ever used she introduced me to the jungler role so yeah she holds a special place in my heart

Fun fact: She and her two gauntlets weight 8140 pounds. presuming the 140 is just her and the 8000 pounds is both gauntlets, that means one gauntlet is 4000 pounds or compared to the most weight lifted by a real life woman in the Olympics being 422 pounds using both arms during a clean & jerk lift, making her roughly 9.5 times stronger then the strongest woman on earth WITH ONE ARM. double that and it's an impressive 19 times stronger...and she still moves around quickly and throws punches like it's NOTHING to her meaning she can presumably lift MORE then that. Just food for thought.

She is in Piltover as part of the police force to make up for crimed she once committed as a member of a group of thieves. And uhhhh even if it had motors...it's STILL attached to her arms. She'd still have to be lifting that weight.

Games which uses sci-fi genres, there's usually a armored class who uses an armor kind which "enhances" its fire power/physical power/carry hidden gears, that class usually is referred as "engineers" or *"enforcers"*.
Demaciano I know that now, but that just powers her mechanical fists, which are attached to HER arms, she'd still be LIFTING the weight which is what I'm getting at.
gaaraofthedesert801 I guess not, with that strenght plus the enforcer suit, she could have a body strong as a demacian arcane trained warriors (jarvan, garen, xin, highlords, vanguard members, etc.) and stronger than highly evolved/trained physical body (braum, illaoi, mundo, singed, warwick).
The power to lift comes from her enforcer suit, her body is like the "brain" and the bone structure. Vi must have her physical body stronger than cait, jinx or even ekko (regarding that ekko body is from 14 old, despite his age) because she used to fight when was a criminal, but not all that, ezreal or jayce's body (even jayce being a cientist kind) might be strong as her.
Jayce suit is focused to lift and handle the hammer, as vi's to move the fists, but jayce's hammer is enhanced with techmaturgy, being his gear more powerful than vi's.. But all this just in lore wise, obviously (if in game things was to follow the lore wise, zilean or bard could 1shot all the matches happening now).

I remember when I first downloaded this game...
I waited for 3 hours for my slow-ass computer to install the damn thing.
I had to re-install the game because my piece of shit toaster of a computer corrupted a bunch of the files, making me wait for another 8 hours.
I rejoiced when the installation completed... and was met with a patch screen that made me wait a whopping 10 hours because of my God-awful internet.
After literal DAYS of waiting I was finally brought to this epic login screen...
And I waited an extra hour just so I could hear the song play over and over again.

Since Arcane season 1 was about the fall/death of Powder into Jinx, her theme was able to fit in pretty digetically. Maybe season 2 will be about the rise of Vi and they can fit this theme in as well. My mind goes directly to a police force montage, maybe after another timeskip or something towards the end of t he show in this hypothetical season 2 idea.

I remember this was the first login screen I saw when I first started playing league, this amped me up and drew me immediately into the game. It's great watching Arcane and seeing Vi when she was younger and then become who she is.
When she was young (start of Arcane), she hated Piltover's enforcer's for a good reason. She was a kid and only had the narrow view of her close friends and family. As she grew (during Arcane), her vision started to change and she started to see that both sides are in the wrong some times. While following Caitlyn she started to see that Zaun was way also corrupted and also started to love Caitlyn (in a way or another). That love made her understand Cait and realize with her that most problems come from the higher ups (both from Piltover and Zaun). Their duo is a perfect match because Cait is the brain and Vi is the brawn. Vi holds the bad guys while Cait asks the questions.
I remember when I first started playing League she was the new champion and this was the login screen that greeted me. I don't play the game anymore because life happened but can't deny it has a special place in my heart. Tried so many competitive online games but this was the only one where I reached an extremely high rank (Master Tier). Initially played ADC when I first started with the game, mained Jinx for a while and transitioned to jungle where I first mained Vi. So lucky that they were the main characters in Arcane. Fired up the game again some few hours ago for just a single match because of the Arcane hype and played Vi. Really takes me back.
So Vi was like "if you can't beat them, join them" 😂
