- Honda Elevate, a compact SUV, is finally introduced in India. By 2030, Honda wants to introduce five further SUVs in India, with this one being the first. In Honda India's range, the Elevate sits above the Amaze.
The Honda Elevate has a brash and powerful appearance. A massive grille with a substantial chrome surround dominates the front fascia. The LED headlights provide a sleek, swept-back appearance. Strong shoulder lines and massive 16-inch alloy wheels define the side profile. LED taillights and a twin exhaust system are featured on the back.
The Honda Elevate's cabin is roomy and nicely furnished. The dashboard has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and is tastefully designed. Digital and analogue dials are combined in the instrument cluster. The seats are supportive and cosy. Both front and rear passengers have plenty of headroom and legroom in the Elevate.
A comprehensive variety of features are included with the Honda Elevate as standard equipment.

A 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine with 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque powers the Honda Elevate. The 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmissions are paired with the powerplant.
Performance and fuel economy are well-balanced in the Elevate. It has a top speed of 170 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds. Additionally, the Elevate achieves fuel economy ratings of 15.31 km/l in the city and 16.92 km/l on the highway.
The riding quality of the Honda Elevate is smooth. It absorbs potholes and bumps well. The suspension is calibrated nicely and provides a good compromise between comfort and handling. In constrained locations, the Elevate is very simple to manoeuvre. A subcompact SUV with a superb blend of performance, fuel economy, features, and safety is the Honda Elevate. It is a terrific option for those seeking a sleek, useful SUV at a reasonable price.
The Honda Elevate is priced from Rs. 11.04 lakh to Rs. 16.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Compared to the Kushaq and Taigun, the Elevate has a longer wheelbase and a wider stance, giving passengers greater leg and shoulder room. Additionally, it offers a bigger boot space. The Elevate offers better value for money because to its somewhat reduced pricing compared to the Kushaq and Taigun.
The grille, headlights, and bumper on the 2023 Nexon have all been updated. The headlamps are now sleeker and more contemporary, and the grille is now larger and more imposing. New fog lights and air intakes have been added to the bumper, which has also undergone remodelling.

I have test driven the MG Astor 1.5 MT. It is unbeatable in the following aspects :
1) Build Quality
2) Safety
3) premium & classy Exterior
4) Plush Interior
5) Luxurious fit & finish
6) Panoramic sunroof
7) Aerodynamic design
8) Great value for money (especially the MT variants)
Further, almost all Astor owners are satisfied with MG's "after sales service" & also claim, it is not at all hard on their pockets. Infact many say, it is quite cheap to maintain an Astor.
It's an amazing Car.. ..I bought it ... Sharp pro CVT... It's really underrated and hell lot of myths are there on you tube about Astor. It's having best of the build quality , heaviest amongst the competitors and still giving me mileage 11.5 in pune city with the comfort and luxury

I have driven both. Astor is more comfortable for city driving as compared to honda.
I just had test drives of both the cars. And dude Astor is more poweful than elevate. Astor has better road noise insulation. Elevate has not good road noise insulation.
Elevate has that big car feel and has a good engine but there is lot of cabin noise and the over all experience isnt as plush as the Astor. Ill go for the Astors select variant as I want safety, features and value for money. My running isnt much so im not worried about the mileage at all.
Ditto. I find the select cvt variant of Astor much better option in terms of VFM as compared to elevate.

@@ankithariname2978 Very well summarised. Astor Select is real value for money, especially the Manual variant. The fuel efficiency & the power delivery of the manual variant is superior to that of the CVT.

✓Edge to edge the bonnet is visible
✓Broad side mirrors with no blind spot
✓Seats are so comfortable
✓Airy and spacious interiors
✓Consoles are user friendly and simple not too techy or complicated
✓Becomes rocket at 6th gear
✓Inclined foot rest for rear seat passengers
✓Buttons for fan and temp on the AC dashboard is quite handy to use while driving
Cons:
✓TPMS is missing
✓Just one water nozzle for windscreen. Cleaning sweep is poor
✓Could have given ventilated seats atleast in the top model

I checked dimensions of both the cars, both are of same height, but astor is wider and longer, still on road elevate looks much bigger and astor looks like a big hatchback
Yes, mainly because the bonnet's not as raised and boxy. IMO it makes it easy on the eye and timeless. Astor's also more affordable as base price starts lower and comes with music system also.
I own both cars, Astor MT super & Elevate ZX MT, both are best VFM in segment..... You have done perfect comparison !!!
@mangalmurtibhosale do u have astor in 1.5mt? Tell me about mileage is it that bad I don't live in metro so traffic is not that high and also not a hilly region..I can live with 13-14 overall mileage I drive sedately...

Took a test drive of Honda Elevate multiple times. Great no-nonsense car. But the sub-par cabin noise insulation was a big disappointment for me every time. Was marring the otherwise good drive.
But why not talk about turbo of astor. Review so biased

Compare elevate vs creta facelift.
Elevate is better than astor in every aspect. Driving feel, reliability, brand value, performance, mileage, resale, service quality, parts availability.
Not every aspect: Features: Astor way better!!
Luxury and premium feel: Astor Feels 2 leagues apart.
Build quality: I’m not talking about safety rating but in terms of just pure touch and heft of the car/doors Astor feels way more tanky. Way more premium materials used. Feels like a true European car.
Paint color and quality: Astor again feels way better than elevate and way richer colors as well.
I’m very much a Honda fan but when you enter Astor, you really feel jealous. It has that much of a luxury factor.
That being said, for a driver Elevate is almost twice as good as the Astor. Astor suits someone who absolutely is very very relaxed driver.
In an ideal world, I would’ve wanted Astor interiors, build quality and material choices with elevate engine, suspension and steering.
Astor has better build quality, more features and better finish and quality material than elevate. Go for elevate only if u value more the car presence on the road and better driving dynamics even at a premium price because Astor offers lot more at lessorprice

In a 10 min drive of elevate, we could feel a lot of horizontol body movement in elevate. If you have motion sickness, you will surely vonit in every drive

Comparison between Honda Elevate NA Vs Creta Facelift NA engine would certainly be more relevant & contemporary than with Astor as it is a no-brainer that Elevate is a much better buy!
Talking of choice of others having a Turbo engine is meaningless as most people go for NA engines & not Turbo in India....enough data is available to support my view!!

Savvy pro costs you 20lakh. I was having exact same list of cars to choose from 2 weeks back. I have chosen elevate zx for practical purposes. Though i loved astor designs i cant maintain it with poor mileage and loved kushaq and taigun for build quality but features wise a lot of them are missing. Loved kia for features but couldn’t trade off safety. Hence chosen elevate which is safe , good mileage, necessary features are covered and 5star safety rating. Even though few features are missing but i elevate checks most of the boxes and best part is reliability. Hope this helps you. Thanks!

Elevate has the best 1.5 NA engine among all mid size SUVs. Much more better to drive and acceleration than Creta/Seltos and Grand Vitara.

Astor ekdom bekaar car hain, rear seats chote hain, leg space cum hain. Engine ot mileage worst in class. Service and sales network also poor and paint quality poor.
