    Now, having listened to the entirety of this improvisation, I think I can place Pincemaille firmly into the league of scarcely-believable genius! Wonderful, utterly fantastic.

    Quest'improvvisazione è a dir poco straordinaria! Un'energia e una ricchezza armonica ed elementare assolutamente notevoli, a cui si aggiunge un'ampia padronanza e abilità nell'utilizzare le colossali potenzialità timbriche dell'organo.

  • @richardsedding8444

    Inspiring harmonies, what imagination! The Cavaille-Coll has such glorious colours for the artist to choose! That variation at 17' with strings accompanying a reed(oboe?) is sublime! Merci M Pincemaille.

    Why is this, Cavaillé-Coll junior's earliest significant organ, always so overlooked? People bang on about S.Sernin Toulouse, S.Ouen Rouen, ND Paris, S.Sulpice Paris etc, but this one somehow often gets missed out. It's one of my favourites.

    • @richardwilliamjohnson8566

      I think it's not quite as standard as the others, which makes it difficult to play some types of music. This may explain it. But what can be played on it, sounds magnificent!

    GEWELDIG! Wat een klank! Bij 00:30 - 00:50 ben ik al van mijn stoel gevallen! En wat een pedaalinzetten zo rond 02:00... En dan die variaties: wat een stilistische beheersing, en die neo-klassieke stijl past zo mooi op een eigenlijk nog zeer klassieke Cavaillé-Coll! Een van de mooiste orgels die ik ken wat mij betreft. Maar die prologue... ik sta gewoon in brand telkens als ik dit hoor....

    Why so? And why has my comment received so many negative votes? Cavaillé-Coll began the development of the orchestral organ which led, through the instruments of Hill, Willis, Lewis and Roosevelt through to Robert Hope-Jones, Ernest Skinner, Murray Harris etc to the theatre organs of Wurlitzer, Kimball, Robert-Morton, Compton et al. That C-C provided such orchestral colour on the G.O. here is truly remarkable, showing a prophetic view of orchestral playing which few could have conceived.

    Sobre a pergunta se me fez se eu tenho governanta , não não a governanta sou eu.mesma minha bancada tem dois andares .já tive empregada qe fazia tbm por desporto depois foi para fora eu não tenho ninguém. Se for preciso temos empresas de limpeza próprias ao domicílio mas nunca chamei .está esclarecida mto a louça essa é longe francês sim é mto boa esclarecimento dado 🌹

    @sanysov 12 лет назад

    Pourtant il en rêve de ces combinateurs et assistance électrique, il souhaiterait que seuls les claviers restent à traction originale. Même la disposition du banc pour l'organiste restée telle quelle depuis la construction contient des inconvénients majeurs, au point que des sangles sont à la disposition de l'exécutant afin de la maintenir stable sur le banc, advenant sa perte d'équilibre!!! Comme quoi le soucis de la maintenance historique peut occasionner ces aberrations en son nom!

    Well, Pincemaille can certainly play the organ, but he's a nasty piece of work.
    While on an official "organ tour" to St. Denis, he wouldn't even allow anyone up to SEE the console, much less play it. And he nearly ran over a tour member with his car afterwards, in a huge hurry to leave!

    • @richardharrold9736
      @richardharrold9736 9 лет назад +7

      Edward Elgar Have you considered why that may be? Access to the console isn't easy, and he clearly had somewhere else to be immediately after.
