@@RachelPedd I was inspired and tried it yesterday. Boy it was more challenging than I thought! I couldn't settle on color schemes. And once I finally got combos I like, the interiors didn't seem to "go" with the exterior style-wise. So then even though I likes things individually (exterior, rooms, etc) I didn't like the build overall. HAHA
Would love to see you renovate it without restrictions haha, add a second floor, backyard, pool, whatever. You did a great job considering all the limitations
It might be fun to do Bailey-Moon Manor in Del Sol Valley. That house is a travesty. It has four bathrooms but only one toilet. Thorne Bailey is a musician, but there’s no instrument in the house. His wife Octavia is a writer, but there’s no computer in the house. Their little boy Orange is an influencer, but there’s no Video production equipment. There are three bedrooms, but it’s pretty impossible to figure out which bedroom is his. And you’d think with a name like Orange, that his bedroom would be decorated in orange. The stairs do not have a railing. It’s very sparsely decorated, like all Maxis builds. But they are one of my favorite families and I think they deserve a much better home. 😊
One of my favorite range hoods in the entire game is the 3rd one in when you had it filtered by base game. The default swatch is that old-looking metal but it has the prettiest white swatch and I use it in almost all my builds
Devon Bumpkin always does terrain around the lot and the edges where grass meets pavement round trees, kids playground equipment etc for realism and to make it look more natural especially where grass meets pavement to cover up the harsh lines. He's also British. I do believe TownieSimsBuilds also does this. He's American. Both very talented builders 😁 👍
My renovation of some houses in Sims 3 is like increasing their size by 30-50% and change their stupid cramped design to proper space :D Developers of Sims 3 and probably 4 really think sims are capable walking via corridors or in the rooms with 2 3 square space size xDD
@@tori_aviator you have no idea what you are talking about xD I can record their "ability" to walk in tight corridors when there are more than 2 sims trying to pass each other in tight corridors or rooms. Many times they just cancel activity i send them to just because they cant move past corridors or rooms do not have enough space. So i "space out" house items as much as possible, and make wide corridors probably 3-4 tiles wide AT LEAST.
@@RachelPedd maybe they improved their path finding. I am just watching Sims4 game plays, but did not play it yet, though i do have the base version of the game, but still i do not like graphical style of sims 4 and because it is not fully open world as sims 3.
@@RachelPedd but really, the bed with a leaf pattern is really cute and my favorite (arent this cute?). You probably have strict preferences. (Minimalism or something?) (although I can't imagine, how an ordinary-looking bed (it even has neutral colors and simple walls, without patterns or shapes - ordinary wooden ones) can be so hated 😅 poor bed
@@RachelPedd it will be interesting to look at the complete change without restrictions, it is clear that the TV will be thrown out. although you are unlikely to make videos of the same house
@@tori_aviator The leaf bed us very cute, but for some reason, I wasn't able to make it look good in this particular build. I'd definitely consider making another video renovating this house without any restrictions.
Would you try this challenge?
Yeah I think it's an awesome challenge actually!
@@EmilyBlueJaye Thank you!

I'd definitely love to tackle this house without restrictions! 😃

Love this idea, I’ll add it to my list! 🥰
Thanks! That would be great!
I'd love to see a reno with all the packs, but still can't change the Floorplan or shape!!!!
Nice! I like this idea 🥰
You did such a good job given the limitations and restrictions!!! ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰
Too beautiful, thank you and have the most amazing day and week.
Thank you so much, same to you! 🥰
@@RachelPedd Thank you so much.
The size down of the lights idea was so goooddd lol omg I was so sad when I saw that the door couldn’t be moved lol. It turned out beautifully
It hurt me, it truly did. 🤣 I'm so glad you like it.
"Why does that look worse?" 😂😂😂 Crying.
Why am I like this?!
You definetly improved it!!! 😍🤩maybe right by that archway to the kitchen a china cabinet would be nice 🤔
Oooo yes, a China cabinet would have been lovely! 🥰

I know exactly which one you mean, it's a great hood! ☺
You did a wonderful job! Inspiring actually. Basegame only is such a challenge on it's own. Next level: no MOO cheat! HAHA
I LOVE the idea of not being able to use MOO. It would be torture. 🤣
@@RachelPedd Same here! Absolute torture but I love the idea it's in line with the official builds' limitations.
I kinda wanna try this now lol although I really dislike that bed and the layout lol
Honestly, the pain I felt not being able to change much was torture. 🤣

And Sims are supposed to be the most intelligent in The Sims 4... 🤣
But sim CAN walking via corridor and 2-3 space 🤷 this is not sims 2

the bed looks normal to me and the words about how terrible everything is seem too strained 😅
