I really appreciate this, guys. I'm not the biggest fan of crowds so just a simple video like this means everything to me. Thank you so much for all that you do!
I would just remind you that this is on a lower medium day. On slow days/ times are the best!! Don't go on super busy days (Christmas, Halloween, New Years, 4th of July, etc.) because a lot of these places could still be busy
And, Jen, eating the snack is helpful because it focuses your senses on something else other than the noise/busyness around you. Chewing gum, eating hard candy can also be helpful too.
Kreacher is the house elf :) These are definitely helpful! I don't have crowd anxiety, but I am somewhat introverted and need "people breaks." And I guess a lot of people get over stimulated for lots of reasons. So I think these videos are a great idea! Thanks for doing them :) y'all are the best.
This is so helpful you guys!! Being anxious while on vacation is no fun, and for YEARS I’ve dealt with it. This means the world to me and everyone else who struggles with anxiety. THANK YOU!!
What an awesome video idea. I don’t necessarily get crowd anxiety but I travel with my sister who gets very easily frustrated in large crowds so this is also helpful with that as well. You guys are always soooo helpful. I hope you know how much we all appreciate you both!
I can't thank you enough for making this video. My husband has PTSD from his time in the military and dealing with the crowds is often a struggle. We have been to Universal twice and are planning to go again in November. After viewing your video I have confidence that our upcoming vacation will be more enjoyable than the past trips. Seriously guys, THANK YOU!
Watching this over and over to get ready. Love you guys and pray you are well. :) lol I'm so excited to see how your family starts this upcoming year! Rock on!!
By no means am I glad you have anxiety but I am glad you share that you do. When I go to the parks something happens inside me that just causes me to feel so anxious inside. My husband doesn’t get it but this helps me to feel I am not a lone. Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks for sharing this! I am a special education teacher, and I primarily work with middle school-age kids with Asperger's/Autism. I have two boys that LOVE Universal despite sensory-overload. Almost every day at lunch we talk about it! Things like this video are wonderful resources to pass onto those parents and kids!!
In Disney's Magic Kingdom, the best yet least crowded spot to see the fireworks is actually over at Gaston's Tavern in FantasyLand. Hardly anyone goes back there during the fireworks. There are places to sit. And you actually get a very cool unique view of the fireworks right above you. In fact, you end up between the places where they shoot off the fireworks. So, you have them coming from the direction of the castle and some from behind the tavern.
Love you guys. I've been watching your videos for about a year and just started watching all of the old ones from the beginning. I wanted to tell you that I suffer from depression and watching your videos totally cheers me up! Thank you for them and keep em coming! I hope to someday get down to Orlando on vacation and now I know so many secrets! Thank you Tim and Jenn!!!
Janitza Johnson yeah, I feel for you. I worked in a warehouse for ten years, I know the product I know the people we deal with. My boss wanted me to work the store front. I 've never had a true panic attack before. I hyperventilated and for the life of me couldn't remember where products were, that I stocked, I just froze. I hated that feeling and haven't done it since.
This video has come at a really good time for me. I've just got back home to the uk from a busy trip to New York and I found it all way too busy. I had several panic attacks cos it was all too much. I'm emotionally and physically exhausted by it. Stay safe and well, Jen and Tim. You're wonderful people.
I would love more videos like this! Great idea! One of my children has sensory processing/integration disorder and knowing quiet spots can really help him make it through the day and avoid a sensory meltdown.
Im from London and the buildings are definitely like that! I think a lot of the brick discolouration between buildings is due to very bad air pollution in the early 20th century as well as new builds post-WWII. Could be mistaken though, but all in all it's pretty unique :)
It's whether the building owners have had the place cleaned or not - in the like... 50? 60? years since coal fires were common? Our air is no better now, it's just the pollution doesn't leave sooty grime so much.
I love this idea. I am an passholder for Cedar Fair parks and it is always nice to find that quiet spot in the parks to just chill and people watch. I would love to see this for more parks.
Thanks so much on making this video. I’m suffering from public social anxiety due to all the recent school shootings and Las Vegas shooting. I feel like your talking directly to me. Please make more! Orlando is my home away from home.
Please please please do more of these videos, I am bringing someone with major anxiety next year and this will be very helpful. Thanks for all that you both do.
So I am a newbie to this channel and I have to say this video right here just made me a fan for life! I suffer from anxiety and crowds will make me panic everytime. I found this video to be super helpful! Thanks you so much for making this! You guys rock!
this is such a sweet idea!! my brother has autism and loves theme parks but sometimes really can’t handle the crowds. this will be really useful and very appreciated by so many people xxx
I agree with Julia - these would be great for all the parks - - tips from people who go there all the time and know where we can avoid some of the high anxiety crowds. Great idea you guys.
My 3 year old son is obsessed with roller coasters & we stumbled upon your videos after taking him to Busch Gardens. He can't wait until he is tall enough to ride something other than Grover. He picked up on you saying holy macaroni & says it more than I'd like to admit. Keep up the good work.
Hello there! I know you won't see this but...me and my family are going to Disney world April 4-8 and June 18-22. Do you have any tips for that time? We've only gone in January. I hope to run into you guys while we're there! I love you two! Wear your seatbelts.
As someone with social anxiety and a love for theme parks it's nice to see that others do similar things to avoid as much of a crowd as possible, and to get some tips for parks I don't normally frequent :)
thank you so much for making this video for people like me who suffer from anxiety! it means the world. 💞 always love seeing Jen in your videos! You two are awesome!
As someone with multiple types of anxiety but loves theme parks, this is super duper helpful! I really appreciate the effort taken to make this video, and would really love if this was made into a "series" on your channel. Thank you so much for doing this!
Can someone give tips on how to deal with claustrophobia in the ride lines? I've had to leave lines because some of them are such tight spaces. The kong ride in the cave was so much for me and I had a fast pass. I didn't think I was going to make it.
gissneric I agree. Get in there early, if you are staying onsite then make the most of early entry. I am the same as you and we would manage to get all the rides done super early, then get food and do some shopping etc to avoid the lines. Makes the day so much more bearable.
My mom has the same problem. It helps her to focus on where the exit is and distract herself with something on her phone. I do think the last fast pass hallway in Kong is the worst place.
Laura Feldsteen a lot of the lines have detail to keep you distracted - other than that ask family members to stand in front and behind so they can leave some space. Also keepndrinking water if you feel closed in.
Do as the others suggest and cough, splutter and sneeze on people who get too close to you. Or paint little red dots on yourself and mention to the person next to you "ugh aren't measles just the worst!" and scratch your body. Maybe folks will give you a little space then 😉
I wanted to add another comment, I am so grateful for this video. I sometimes think that I am the only one that deals with this kind of anxiety. It’s such a happy place to be at and sometimes, the anxiety just takes over and then it’s not so much fun anymore. Your idea, of grabbing some food is a really good one. I find that if I have something super cold to drink, in a moment of anxiety, it helps as well.
Me and my Mother have crowd anxiety this video is very helpful for the both of us, a thing that helps me and my mother is going into some stores and looking around and focusing on the merchandise. Another thing that helps is having a lunch break in a restaurant in the park. Thanks for helping me!
I agree with someone else’s comment, I have HORRIBLE crowd anxiety... a lot of times things that are super fun and exciting can distract my anxiety enough to enjoy myself but when I lose my energy, anxiety is a lot more noticeable. This was amazing, I can use some of these ideas and tips for Disneyland, I am going in October and my anxiety has never been so bad... if you could do a Disney version of this I would be forever grateful ❤️ thanks for all you do, I love your videos!
This video was so helpful. Taking my nephew to universal one day next summer during our big Disney vacation and he gets anxious around crowds so I’ll definitely follow this path to keep him calm
How to avoid high crowd levels during peak vacation times? Just don't go. Any Florida local with shiver when you mention the parks during spring break, Christmas, or july 4th. We know better. You just. DON'T. GO.
The only issue with this advice is that there really is no “non-peak” season for Disney anymore. October, for example, used to be non-peak, but it’s been getting just as busy as the summer months. I think it’s because of the festivals and events.
Definitely a great idea for videos for all the parks. Very helpful for those of us who suffer from overwhelm in crowds/noisy places, or with kiddos that do (or both in my case!).
I knew about some of those places but thanks for letting me know about the other places too that I did not know about. It’s always nice to get away from the crowds and noice sometimes in the parks.
Thank you SO much for this vlog, i suffer from anxiety too and even though I love theme parks and am so excited for my family’s trip this upcoming fall, I’m definitely nervous about the crowds. I really appreciate your tips!
Thank you so much for this video! I'll be coming down there in a couple of weeks with my kids' band & choir and often struggle with large crowds. I SO appreciate these little tips and will be keeping them handy in case crowds are unbearable. Love getting my park fix through your videos from frigid Minnesota!
As someone who suffers from severe social anxiety and PTSD I really appreciate you making this video. If there was anyway you could do this for more parks, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you guys!
I was there yesterday for my birthday! Watching your videos in preparation really made it easy for me to navigate through the parks! Thanks Tim and Jen!
wow you`ve brought back some memories , your last toilet break me and my husband on the phone {when there was phones back in the day, in 2002} to my mum who is no longer with us.. brought tears to my eyes xx
Thank you! We are planning a trip for next year. I can get overwhelmed at times by crowds, so finding some quiet spots will definitely make for a more pleasant trip.
I can’t thank you enough for this! I agree that it would be great to have this for the other parks. Headed down for two weeks in less than a month, during both April school vacations, and these tips will help SO much.
I wish I had this knowledge last May when I visited the parks! Thank you so much Jen and Tim for considering those of us who as much as we would like to cannot simply throw ourselves into the parks💞
We love your little construction notes and building talk (my husband is familiar with the construction jabber and is always nodding along 😊). We actually loved your house project videos too! Can't wait to see all you do to the house this year 👌
Thank you so much for posting this video, my oldest daughter suffers from anxiety and had episodes at Universal this past Christmas. We will use your tips on our next visit. City Walk is such a sensory overload.
Yes, please do this for Islands and all the other parks you frequent! This was so cool. I'm definitely gonna be the leader of whatever group I go to Universal with next.
Thank you for posting this video. I suffer from high anxiety and as well as PTSD so crowds are a big issue for me. I've managed to keep it under control so far but your tips can help me as well.
As someone with anxiety, this is super helpful and I would totally dig one if there was a similar video like this at Disney!
These would be great videos for all of the parks!
yes
I agree
Yes, please. I have terrible crowd anxiety and we are heading down in late April.
Even one for the water parks on his to find seating when it’s busy would be great!
Yeah this would be perfect for Magic Kingdom
You should do this type of video for Disney.
David you are exactly right they need to do that
They may need to do separate videos for each park, but I agree. This needs to happen!!
there is no such thing as a quiet spot or low traffic paths at WDW anymore lol
Agreed!
This was a great idea for a video. Thanks. It’s nice to see other parts of the parks that you might miss if you just follow the crowds too.

Chewing gum, eating hard candy can also be helpful too.
...busyness? Lol
Was coming to say this.
Great tips for navigating the park and keeping the stress level down. Please do the same for the other parks. This was extremely helpful!
The entrance is operated by the Hard Rock Café, and is open the same hours they are. :) At least that's what they told me when I asked before.
Yes please, continue with these tips. I use a scooter to get around so appreciate your routes around crowds.
This is so helpful you guys!! Being anxious while on vacation is no fun, and for YEARS I’ve dealt with it. This means the world to me and everyone else who struggles with anxiety. THANK YOU!!

Somebody needs to make a compilation of Tim saying holy macaroni! :) lol
do you really need to hear it MORE than we already do?
yes
Jenn!!! Do it!!!
Alatina Thucklemuggin of course!
Watching this over and over to get ready. Love you guys and pray you are well. :) lol I'm so excited to see how your family starts this upcoming year! Rock on!!
Yes our buildings are like that not just Harry Potter :) I live in Kent near London. X
By no means am I glad you have anxiety but I am glad you share that you do. When I go to the parks something happens inside me that just causes me to feel so anxious inside. My husband doesn’t get it but this helps me to feel I am not a lone. Thank you for sharing this!
Love this! So nice to know where some quiet spots are!

Michael Hudson thanks for the tip. Going in November to MK and I haven’t been in 10 years!
Love you guys. I've been watching your videos for about a year and just started watching all of the old ones from the beginning. I wanted to tell you that I suffer from depression and watching your videos totally cheers me up! Thank you for them and keep em coming! I have crowd anxiety which is why I avoid amusement parks during busy days. Also why I don't work retail anymore

Good Morning from the Universal Orlando parking garage!
I need more of these. I have a lot of crowd anxiety I usually keep to myself but I love Disney
Kretcher and Omg I love the edit jump to the front of the park!! #classic
I would love more videos like this! Great idea! One of my children has sensory processing/integration disorder and knowing quiet spots can really help him make it through the day and avoid a sensory meltdown.

*Such a great video!!!!*
Thanks for being so postive!
Please keep making these videos! Thank you so much, it will definatly help my veteran husband next time we go to the park!
The servant peering out of 12 Grimmauld Place is...KREACHER!
Please please please do more of these videos, I am bringing someone with major anxiety next year and this will be very helpful. Thanks for all that you both do.
Tim is a cool name.
Thanks for being positive!
Now that sounds like the name of a powerful wizard that would guard a bridge.
I know right?
Very cool name
They call me......Tim?
Love to see a similar video for IOA! Thanks! Great tips here!
You should do this for Disney World, it's always packed there. I can't even imagine what it's like during spring break. 😰
Thank you for this Jenn. I know talking about anxiety isn’t always easy.
I hope that you all will be able to do this for other parks too.
The house elfs name is Creature
UnicornLover unicorn Kreacher :)
So I am a newbie to this channel and I have to say this video right here just made me a fan for life! I suffer from anxiety and crowds will make me panic everytime. I found this video to be super helpful! Thanks you so much for making this! You guys rock!

In Diagon Alley, who's wand did Jenn use for the interactive magic things?
J Kane a wand
this is such a sweet idea!! my brother has autism and loves theme parks but sometimes really can’t handle the crowds. this will be really useful and very appreciated by so many people xxx

I agree with Julia - these would be great for all the parks - - tips from people who go there all the time and know where we can avoid some of the high anxiety crowds. Great idea you guys.
the crane isn't for dragon challenge. it's a new wardrobe building for cast members.

TheFireyFlareon 05 Sunscreen, hydrate & hat's. Good walking shoes too!
TheFireyFlareon 05 April is nice weather but crowds can normally be a bit higher because of uk half terms. You’ll need less layers than in Jan x
As someone with social anxiety and a love for theme parks it's nice to see that others do similar things to avoid as much of a crowd as possible, and to get some tips for parks I don't normally frequent :)
His name is kreacher 😀 also it's mystery inc. lol

michael angelo Go to Cedar Point in Ohio, some wait times are close to two hours during peak season

I think it’s worth it to go Atleast once especially for holiday just to see it as someone who lives no where near the parks
WHY DOES TIM HAVE THE MOST RELAXING VOICE EVER!!!!???!!!!
arlene castro do you think he sounds a bit like randy from South Park? I love his voice though.
But isn't stress and anxiety part of the fun?
Definitely a great idea for videos for all the parks. Very helpful for those of us who suffer from overwhelm in crowds/noisy places, or with kiddos that do (or both in my case!).
I bet this comment will not get liked
I knew about some of those places but thanks for letting me know about the other places too that I did not know about. It’s always nice to get away from the crowds and noice sometimes in the parks.
It's a Jen vlog! Yay!
We love and appreciate you Tim, but we also love and appreciate you and Jen together! Great video, thanks for sharing
Yes! Please do more videos like this, I suffer from anxiety. Jen I love the bathroom tips too. Thanks
This is perfect for someone like me! I get so anxious when there’s so many crowds and this is perfect, thank you!
I really like it when you guys experience the park by riding the rides, eat the food, and meet characters!
This video is a blessing. I love Universal but I have GAD so I have an issue with crowds so knowing about quiet areas is great. thank you !
Would love to see this for all the parks, helpful for all our family but especially for our daughter on the spectrum. Xx
This is an excellent video for people with Autism! Thank you Trackers!
I love these tips. Sometimes crowds can be too much and gets everyone angsty. Thanks guys. Much love
Thank you 2 so much for making this one!! I get anxiety around big crowds and def helps!!!!
As someone who suffers from severe social anxiety and PTSD I really appreciate you making this video. If there was anyway you could do this for more parks, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you guys!
Please make this into a video series for all the parks you visit!!! It’s so helpful!!!
This is. Great for me I have sensitive ears and sometimes get overwhelmed with loud noises this is great for people like me who may need it
Wow!! Thank you for this! I struggle with anxiety and sometimes I get panic attacks when I'm overwhelmed, these tips help 👍❤
I was there yesterday for my birthday! Watching your videos in preparation really made it easy for me to navigate through the parks! Thanks Tim and Jen!
My husband gets crowd anxiety really bad, and so does my sister. This is very useful information!
wow you`ve brought back some memories , your last toilet break me and my husband on the phone {when there was phones back in the day, in 2002} to my mum who is no longer with us.. brought tears to my eyes xx
This is so great! I get overly stimulated at theme parks and it can make anyone cranky. From one anxious bird to another, I thank you!
Thank you! We are planning a trip for next year. I can get overwhelmed at times by crowds, so finding some quiet spots will definitely make for a more pleasant trip.
Would love to see videos like this for all of the parks y’all visit. Thanks for this one!
This is really great ! Fun to see you both back at Universal. Love when Jenn is with you.
I can’t thank you enough for this! I agree that it would be great to have this for the other parks. Headed down for two weeks in less than a month, during both April school vacations, and these tips will help SO much.

i hear what you mean jenn i always like a cold drink when i have anxiety attacks, helps me focus on something other than anxiousness
We love your little construction notes and building talk (my husband is familiar with the construction jabber and is always nodding along 😊). We actually loved your house project videos too! Can't wait to see all you do to the house this year 👌
This is the most positive channel I have ever seen thank you for bringing some light into this dark hole of a website
Thank you so much for posting this video, my oldest daughter suffers from anxiety and had episodes at Universal this past Christmas. We will use your tips on our next visit. City Walk is such a sensory overload.

My family and I went to Universal Studios Orlando last week and we used all of your tips. Thank you so much for your help.
