- The best sound source I've ever heard, reel to reel master tape copy's from STS Digital the Netherlands. This is a direct copy from the master tape that was recorded in the studio. This video give's an raw idee from the sound quality, you can not hear the real sound quality because it is no longer analog but digitalized by the computer and compressed by RUclips. The sound from the tape is ultra detailed with the most fluently and refined high i ever heard, the voice sounds very realistic and the overal sound is very dynamic and because of the high dynamic i can not recording so loud to the computer than with other sources.

An analogue recording on a magnetic tape stays the cream of the cream.
;-)
🗣 The sound is crystal-perfect (to perfection). Indeed, it is a real pleasure to listen to this beautiful music and at the same time watch this superb *TEAC* 💿I💿
I cant imagine how it sounds in person when the sound coming out from this youtube video is jaw-dropping
A good reel to reel sounds extremely good. I have had a number of good machines over the years, but no longer have one.
??? shameeee no youu!!! lol
Sir i am always a fan of reel to reel tape recorders
Freakin’ amazing, I know there are limitations through RUclips but still Freakin’ amazing considering so!
You bring back my good old day memories with this reel to reel.
Cheers
Fantastic sound. The best!
Excellent sir
I still hear quality. it's enough that it wasn't mastered to death))) dynamics is in place
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account??

Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
@Logan Jonah you are welcome xD
An A 3300SX at 15 IPS? Did you modify the deck?
Well I figured out. Mackintosh is singing Billie Holiday's songs. Now is correct. By the way, the Reel to Reel speed is 15ips. which makes excellent recordings.
Oh I can tell. I can tell
beautiful deck I have the 300s
So effectively this reel tape is a safety copy, am I right? That would be the best possible quality imaginable at home until all time before audio CDs and maybe until 896,000 samples per second 32 bit floating point SDR WAV64 lossless files...Unless the studio has a crazy large bank of reel-to-reel recorders and a signal splitter/buffer amplifier that doesn't add EMI/RFI then the quantity of these tapes that can be sold would have a firm upper bound, unless it was exactly as I said, using a Software Defined Radio AD/DA digital loop bin duplication system.
yes i understand some of these words
This is not Billie Holiday probably Lils Mackintosh which he showed the album.
Wonderful sound. Is that really from the tape...
Yep, reel-to-reel can wipe the floor with digital! Pretty amazing
Too loud noise for a master tape and for such speed as for me (
what album is that?
Lils Mackintosh, A tributen to Billy Holiday.
If you record the audio with a good ADC and you do some blind test...you can't hear any difference... just do it and tell me
LOL. Did it with floating 32/192 vs 1/4"@15IPS. No contest, analog is king. Even 'good' R2R PCM pales. Will try with a DSD ADC at 128 next...as a (futile) exercise. I suggest YOU do some master tape transfers and hear for yourself! You don't need to get out the electrostatic headphones, it's not subtle...don't even need to be in the same room. Digital is a convenience format not a quality one.
