You use to be able to check alternators by pulling the positive side of battery off with car running. If car stalled your alternator was bad but new cars you can’t do that, you will fry electrical components. Do NOT USE BRAKE CLEANER to clean a MAF sensor! Most misfires are bad or arcing coil packs. Some new vehicles, when your battery dies it throws codes you can’t reset without the Stealership.
Did I say something wrong? I know we should always disconnect negative terminal first. And when reconnecting battery, always connect positive terminal first
Had 2 cars (Hyundai Santa Fe) that cut out when stopped at lights etc. Was the Crankshaft sensor on both of them. Replaced them and never had another issue.
DO NOT use brake cleaner to clean your MAF sensor, there is specific cleaner for that, that doesn't damage it like brake cleaner will. It's called... wait for it... MAF sensor CLEANER!

Thanks! That was a nice video. Was expecting some AI generated BS but instead got an informative educational piece.
Thank you so much. I read half of your comment first and I got instantly demotivated 😅. Glad I read complete comment.
Do not use brake cleaner on your maf sensor, use Maf sensor cleaner or ipa only.
Thanks for information. That’s strange because I have heard from some people and they use same cleaner for sensor and throttle body.
@@AutocornerdProsusually the throttle body cleaner says to spray after the MAF sensor
@@AutocornerdPros Brake cleaner should not be used on electronics at all...ever!!
Attention! Do NOT spray brake cleaner all over your engine, especially when HOT unless you want to create a giant FIRE BALL!
