Although i have Yoimiya built, when it comes to tough fights i will always prefer using Hu Tao, unless i have to fight Thunder manifestation ofc. Yoimiya is a comfortable unit, very convenient in open world. Auto-targetting sucks tho.
I love using yoimiya against non pyro boss units She makes them so ez to deal with + she's so comfy to use & easy to build Her BiS artifact domain is good too, not to mention how adorable her voice lines are She deserves more love
i think yoi is fun but i main a triple crown fischl and refuse to switch i do like using yoimiya in domains sometimes as support cause her burst explodes an aoe when other characters hit the marked one so it’s like easy reactions and extra damage

the small multipliers actually get bigger thanks to Yelan, so what seems like 6% increase in Yoimiya's E is further increased by the upgrade to normal attack talent and Yelan's passive, which makes it like 15% increase
I'm so happy she's getting more love and recognition. I've had her since she released and I don't regret getting her nor do I regret investing so much time and effort into building her, or triple crowning her. She's one of the easiest DPS characters to use in the game and more often than not she carries my Abyss runs. I'll try to get her weapon the next time she reruns just so that I can finally say that my Yoimiya build is complete.
Characters like Yoimiya and Ganyu literally makes anything in the game trivial and comfortable. any flying annoying singe target mobs just vanishes. also Yoimiya + Yunjin is better combo btw. specially c6 Yunjin is insane

I mained ayaka before her, but on her last rerun she accidentally came home haha. That probably was the best accident I have ever committed. It hasn’t been much but o have been maining her ever since. Many people see the fact that she is a single target dps as a problem but when she hits like a truck and one shots the small enemy or whatsoever, her being a single target dps doesn’t matter at all. My ayaka for example, she does 12kx3 charged but when I am using yoimiya who simply can one shot the enemy with her 50k-100k dmg range the job gets done faster. Many people rely on ayaka’s burst for her damage which, really is op but yoimiya overpowers ayaka in my perspective. I have %245 cd-%50cr (w 2k atk) and 4pc blizzard on her and her burst does around 30k with bennet kazuha buff etc (yelan too) meanwhile yoimiya on the other hand yoimiya with the same setup, can do 70k-130k (%70cr-%237cd with 2k attack). Honestly, I think yoimiya overpowers even some good dps like ayaka yet she gets sandwiched (hoyoverse literally stop)
I had her since her first banner and, regardless of the harsh comments towards her kit, the “lack of aoe” or what not, I don’t regret not pulling for her at all! She’s been so helpful and so fun to play, and the best part is that she is literally a ray of sunshine; I could not love her more 😭💕
She’s absolutely amazing. I’ve had her since she first released and could never understand the hate she got. She’s such an amazing character - design, personality and kit are all so much fun
Shes just so comfortable to play. Slap Zhong's shield on and click, thats it, don't have to chase around the enemies. She was my first limited and using her is such a joy. I personally use her burst any time I can because nothing beats the "gold fish of doom!" haha

Yes yes, I’ve wanted her about 2 months before her last rerun. I’ve also lost the 50/50 to Mona on her last rerun😞 Spoiler/Leak!!! She might come back in 3.2 which is next patch (highly acknowledged and 85% true!!!)
Yoimiya is just so user friendly just like her personality. I've never had to learn extra mechanics to unlock her potential unlike someone like hu Tao where I had to spend some time trying to perfect my dash cancel. Basically, in optimal cases, hu Tao beats yoimiya but in almost all general day to day cases, yoimiya can dish out the same DMG as hu Tao but in a much more simpler and easier. It's the best for filthy casuals like me.
Unless theres more than one enemy, I hate it how she has to deal with every darn hilichurl one. by. one. while the other enemies are free to run after her, your Yoimiya must do like 20k per na without supports
@@neoe5970 True. I have my Yoimiya with Slingshot R5, no shimenawa, and with Zhongli, Yelan, Yunjin team comp. It is difficult when there's a lot of enemies but if it's a boss, it's pretty easy. I'm still waiting for another weapon banner with Rust or probably with Thundering Pulse.
After crowning my ayaya, she is the second character that i will crown, i love using her on exploration as she does not need to use ult to clear mobs and the auto targeting is not bad as i already got used to its range, love her alot

Great for mono pyro, but less for vaporize, because with both Yun Jin and Jean's speed increases she shoots so fast that you will end up missing vapes on her more powerful shots.
Seeing you move from Hu Tao to Yoimiya makes me wish I could have gone for Yoimiya instead. Sure Hu Tao is still strong but I prefer Yoimiya's faster play style more and I won't have to worry about stamina (my Hu Tao is at C0) and managing health bar.
I've had her triple crowned for about eight months now. She's my main dps and she's been slaying her half of the abyss and open world exploration! For team rotations I have found it nice to use her burst first (if it's available) simply because I do have her c1 where she gets an atk boost if the opponent affected by it is defeated. But until you get her c1 it isn't like the most necessary thing to do for her rotations. Highly recommend if you have your yunjin built, switch yelan out for her just for the atk speed on yoimiya. My favorite team is Yoi, Benny, Yun, and Zhongli by far.
She is a good character. With more characters added like Yelan and YunJin, she got a lot better than before. I wish I got her. I lost 50/50 on her 1st banner and didn't have enough primos on her rerun banner cause I pulled for Kazuha 😅

My friend convinced me to pull on Yoimiya’s banner when I was saving for hu Tao, and I managed to get both of them! So happy I did, yoimiya basically carried me from ar 45 to ar 53 ish, and I still use her with quite a few bosses or when I want a bow character/Cryo doesn’t work in abyss! I love she’s finally getting love instead of hate
As someone who has wanted yoimiya since she came out, (I got her on her rerun because keqing sucks), seeing a RUclipsr put a crown on her is nice, I triple crowned her as soon as I got her (I use her ult a lot it’s fine)

I originally pulled for her on her original banner cause I just liked her design, but over the past year she's become my fav DPS, so I love to see Yoimiya get more appreciation~ I invested a ton of resin into her artifacts, so now she has like 2.3k atk, 53%crit rate and 259% crit damage and is probably my best-built character🤣 I'm still hoping for a little more crit rate and em, but I think I should focus on other characters for now😂

From my POV she is a great boss destroyer(except something like immune to Pyro like the Cube) with enough investment and you can use an R5 sling shot as her 2nd best(?) F2P weapon for her which unfortunately i lost my early pity on her rerun which i got keqing instead which is still alright
slingshot is her best f2p weapon if you have bennett and yunjin in the team, its better than r5 rust if u have enough attack to deal with the low base attack
moga I have to say this, I wanted to pull for yoimiya when I lost my last 50/50 to keqing on klee's banner for yoimiya's 1st banner but she didn't arrive and I ended up getting raiden on really hard pity but this year I finally got her and won another 50/50 in that row (which streak died lmao I recently got mona). Seeing you play Yoimiya made me want to save for her even more which i normally don't do since my wishing temptations are always so strong. Now my Yoimiya is on her way to being triple crowned. So far I've only been able to get her main attack to 10 and the other two to 6. Her crit ratio is amazing and I can't wait to see her with full potential. I love seeing you play your yoimiya and reminds me of those days when I had no Yoimiya and was so jealous and sad to see other people play with her. I'm so proud to see you crowning her

It's funny given how I got Yoimiya on her first run which was after Ayaka. Got her on accident when I didn't really wanted her at the time. But, I made due and started building her. Haven't regretted it since given how useful she is to distance based enemies or floating ones. On her second run I got the Thundering Pulse and now I'm a very happy Yoimiya user. I use her way more than Hu Tao even who I have at C1 with Staff of Homa. She is definitely worth it.
My double crowned Yoimiya is happy that she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves. Got her unexpectedly on the first day of her 2.0 banner and she carried me through the rest of the game after I finally moved off of being a Razor main
yoimiya is who I use when I dont wanna think and do damage and its so great. about to double crown her this week myself. Edit: also each skill level increase is about a 6% damage increase from the previous one, so you effectively gave your yoi an 18% dmg boost. Also if you have her C6 yunjin will give you a damage boost of about 15% compared to benny, especially if you have good atk already
Current I think yoi's best team is with yelan yunjin and zhong. When people say her burst is good to use it's usually in regards to her sub dps characters that benefit from the atk buff she gives, like xing and fischl, but that's not really relevant here. Personally I like to use the burst to apply pyro, so I can maybe vape xing's E or swirl it with kazuha/sucrose if I'm using either.
I'm running her with Yelan, Yun Jin and Jean. Zhongli would be more practical, but I skipped his banner. I've been tempted with Thoma for her team specifically, or maybe the upcoming Layla.

honestly her burst makes for fun kokomi or yelan dmg if you have or use or like either. probably same for childe and other hydros like maybe nilou. damage isnt half bad either from the burst + procs themselves
Yoimiya burst can actually do some really good damage (to be fair mine is triple crowned) iv seen 28k from just the initial hit before with 10k from when I attack with other characters.

I hate her playstyle more than ganyus, ganyu has an actual range and and is over all more comfterable to play, Yoimiya has many small inconveniences -a used to be Yoimiya main

Yoimiya is my first ever 5 star that i got on 76 pity i started to build her since and mained her that was the most greatest thing i have ever done in my life she is unbelievably strong and can literally solo most of the boses that i fought with especially childe when she was level 40. I'll be planning to crown her soon i still need materials tho

crowned yoimiyas normal attack, got 2 of her ( not on purpose, got 2 in 1 10 on 50 or so pity ) minutes after her release. have never regretted raising her to 90
yess. Been using yoimiya since first banner. Tripple crowned her and got her signature weapon. On rerun get very lucky and took her to C2. Very worth it. Yoimiya is a lot of fun to play and she feels good to play. Put up buffs, switch to yoimiya, hit e and just spam normal attacks.
i prepared for yoimiya as soon as she was even hinted at and triple crowned her a few minutes after getting her, i also recently got thundering pulse on her rerun, and i can very safely say i have not a single regret!!
As a Yoimiya haver and enjoyer, since her first banner. I can say with confidence, that she’s fun and very strong 😎 Top two talents are crowned but not her burst(lv8)
I always wanted her, since her debut where everyone was saying she was "bad" and that she wasn't worth it, and stuff like that. Sadly at that time, I was going for Shogun, so I had to skip her. But on her rerun I managed to get her, and she's been my main for a while now. She does have Burst problems, and surely it could've been better, but honestly, running Shimenawa on her makes up for it, since you don't need to Burst, and get rewarded for doing so from the 4 piece effect. She has pretty good damage multipliers, and even a "decently" built Yoimiya does a good amount of damage, scaling up even more as you get better artifacts and stuff. She's pretty worth it, even more if you have a Xingqiu or a Yelan, for the vapes and all of that. I'd say she's one of the biggest "underdogs" we had so far, because people neglected her at the start, but started seeing her potential and power as the time passed by, just like Kokomi. But I feel Kokomi got a bit better thanks to the Clam set debut and all, where Yoimiya still has problems that persist to this day, but people started to circumvent them. Also, Kokomi was always a good Hydro applicator, so maybe people just ignored that for some time before they realized it. I still find Kokomi's heals pretty copium when I compare her to our free 4*, Barbara, especially on her ult, and I still think that her kit is still pretty much all over the place (Getting Hydro dmg from Ascending her, instead of HP%, like ????), but I can't deny she's one of the best Hydro applicators in the entire game, especially for freeze teams and stuff like that (And now with Dendro too, of course). I love to see them getting more recognition, and I would honestly love to use someone like Xinyan as well, but unfortunately, she's way too bad to use unironically XD. I've tried a lot of build and team comps with her, because I love her design and all of that "rock" stuff that she goes with (And of course I play with JP audio), but yeah, she's one of the few characters I'd say that NEEDED a buff in some way. One can hope that they release an artifact set that brings something to the table and that allows us to use her unironically. But until then, I'll still keep only admiring her when she gets some screen time, like in the Golden Apple Archipelago event XD.
Im a yoimiya main myself and she’s truly worth it. Despite being more of a semi active player this is how far I built her: she is single crowned(normal attack of course) I use non optimal artifacts which are 2pc crimson 2pc shim and r1 rust but with the help of xingqiu for vape I hit over 30000 dmg from time to time
I have her normal attack crowned and her skill at 9. She’s an amazing dps. Also her burst is now useful because of the new domain guilted dreams. If you use em raiden and xingqiu she dishes out a lot of consistent reactions

Yoimiya is just so user friendly just like her personality. I've never had to learn extra mechanics to unlock her potential unlike someone like hu Tao where I had to spend some time trying to perfect my dash cancel. Basically, in optimal cases, hu Tao beats yoimiya but in almost all general day to day cases, yoimiya can dish out the same DMG as hu Tao but in a much more simpler and easier. It's the best for filthy casuals like me.

@@neoe5970 True. I have my Yoimiya with Slingshot R5, no shimenawa, and with Zhongli, Yelan, Yunjin team comp. It is difficult when there's a lot of enemies but if it's a boss, it's pretty easy. I'm still waiting for another weapon banner with Rust or probably with Thundering Pulse.
After crowning my ayaya, she is the second character that i will crown, i love using her on exploration as she does not need to use ult to clear mobs and the auto targeting is not bad as i already got used to its range, love her alot

Great for mono pyro, but less for vaporize, because with both Yun Jin and Jean's speed increases she shoots so fast that you will end up missing vapes on her more powerful shots.

Seeing you move from Hu Tao to Yoimiya makes me wish I could have gone for Yoimiya instead. Sure Hu Tao is still strong but I prefer Yoimiya's faster play style more and I won't have to worry about stamina (my Hu Tao is at C0) and managing health bar.

I've had her triple crowned for about eight months now. She's my main dps and she's been slaying her half of the abyss and open world exploration! For team rotations I have found it nice to use her burst first (if it's available) simply because I do have her c1 where she gets an atk boost if the opponent affected by it is defeated. But until you get her c1 it isn't like the most necessary thing to do for her rotations.
Highly recommend if you have your yunjin built, switch yelan out for her just for the atk speed on yoimiya. My favorite team is Yoi, Benny, Yun, and Zhongli by far.
She is a good character. With more characters added like Yelan and YunJin, she got a lot better than before. I wish I got her. I lost 50/50 on her 1st banner and didn't have enough primos on her rerun banner cause I pulled for Kazuha 😅

My friend convinced me to pull on Yoimiya’s banner when I was saving for hu Tao, and I managed to get both of them! So happy I did, yoimiya basically carried me from ar 45 to ar 53 ish, and I still use her with quite a few bosses or when I want a bow character/Cryo doesn’t work in abyss! I love she’s finally getting love instead of hate

As someone who has wanted yoimiya since she came out, (I got her on her rerun because keqing sucks), seeing a RUclipsr put a crown on her is nice, I triple crowned her as soon as I got her (I use her ult a lot it’s fine)

how about those 25% refund guys? (I made 70 books with Xingqiu and got 3 refunds (warranted that was my absolute worst roll ever..it does get a bit closer to 1 in 4 MOST of the time except when i really NEED it to)).
I originally pulled for her on her original banner cause I just liked her design, but over the past year she's become my fav DPS, so I love to see Yoimiya get more appreciation~ I invested a ton of resin into her artifacts, so now she has like 2.3k atk, 53%crit rate and 259% crit damage and is probably my best-built character🤣 I'm still hoping for a little more crit rate and em, but I think I should focus on other characters for now😂

From my POV she is a great boss destroyer(except something like immune to Pyro like the Cube) with enough investment and you can use an R5 sling shot as her 2nd best(?) F2P weapon for her which unfortunately i lost my early pity on her rerun which i got keqing instead which is still alright
slingshot is her best f2p weapon if you have bennett and yunjin in the team, its better than r5 rust if u have enough attack to deal with the low base attack

I wanted to pull for yoimiya when I lost my last 50/50 to keqing on klee's banner for yoimiya's 1st banner but she didn't arrive and I ended up getting raiden on really hard pity but this year I finally got her and won another 50/50 in that row (which streak died lmao I recently got mona). Seeing you play Yoimiya made me want to save for her even more which i normally don't do since my wishing temptations are always so strong. Now my Yoimiya is on her way to being triple crowned. So far I've only been able to get her main attack to 10 and the other two to 6. Her crit ratio is amazing and I can't wait to see her with full potential. I love seeing you play your yoimiya and reminds me of those days when I had no Yoimiya and was so jealous and sad to see other people play with her. I'm so proud to see you crowning her

It's funny given how I got Yoimiya on her first run which was after Ayaka. Got her on accident when I didn't really wanted her at the time. But, I made due and started building her. Haven't regretted it since given how useful she is to distance based enemies or floating ones. On her second run I got the Thundering Pulse and now I'm a very happy Yoimiya user. I use her way more than Hu Tao even who I have at C1 with Staff of Homa. She is definitely worth it.
My double crowned Yoimiya is happy that she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves. Got her unexpectedly on the first day of her 2.0 banner and she carried me through the rest of the game after I finally moved off of being a Razor main
I LOVE HER SO MUCH, she's so powerful and easy to play, she's f2p and with not so good artifacts but she still does 60k and I think that's beautiful!!
yoimiya is who I use when I dont wanna think and do damage and its so great. about to double crown her this week myself.
Edit: also each skill level increase is about a 6% damage increase from the previous one, so you effectively gave your yoi an 18% dmg boost. Also if you have her C6 yunjin will give you a damage boost of about 15% compared to benny, especially if you have good atk already
Current I think yoi's best team is with yelan yunjin and zhong. When people say her burst is good to use it's usually in regards to her sub dps characters that benefit from the atk buff she gives, like xing and fischl, but that's not really relevant here.
Personally I like to use the burst to apply pyro, so I can maybe vape xing's E or swirl it with kazuha/sucrose if I'm using either.
I'm running her with Yelan, Yun Jin and Jean. Zhongli would be more practical, but I skipped his banner. I've been tempted with Thoma for her team specifically, or maybe the upcoming Layla.

honestly her burst makes for fun kokomi or yelan dmg if you have or use or like either. probably same for childe and other hydros like maybe nilou. damage isnt half bad either from the burst + procs themselves

Yoimiya burst can actually do some really good damage (to be fair mine is triple crowned) iv seen 28k from just the initial hit before with 10k from when I attack with other characters.
Yoimiya really made my life easier, shes not just fun to play but a really good dps and definitely underrated.

Yoimiya is my first ever 5 star that i got on 76 pity i started to build her since and mained her that was the most greatest thing i have ever done in my life she is unbelievably strong and can literally solo most of the boses that i fought with especially childe when she was level 40. I'll be planning to crown her soon i still need materials tho

Very worth it. Yoimiya is a lot of fun to play and she feels good to play. Put up buffs, switch to yoimiya, hit e and just spam normal attacks.
i prepared for yoimiya as soon as she was even hinted at and triple crowned her a few minutes after getting her, i also recently got thundering pulse on her rerun, and i can very safely say i have not a single regret!!

I always wanted her, since her debut where everyone was saying she was "bad" and that she wasn't worth it, and stuff like that. Sadly at that time, I was going for Shogun, so I had to skip her. But on her rerun I managed to get her, and she's been my main for a while now. She does have Burst problems, and surely it could've been better, but honestly, running Shimenawa on her makes up for it, since you don't need to Burst, and get rewarded for doing so from the 4 piece effect. She has pretty good damage multipliers, and even a "decently" built Yoimiya does a good amount of damage, scaling up even more as you get better artifacts and stuff. She's pretty worth it, even more if you have a Xingqiu or a Yelan, for the vapes and all of that.
I'd say she's one of the biggest "underdogs" we had so far, because people neglected her at the start, but started seeing her potential and power as the time passed by, just like Kokomi. But I feel Kokomi got a bit better thanks to the Clam set debut and all, where Yoimiya still has problems that persist to this day, but people started to circumvent them. Also, Kokomi was always a good Hydro applicator, so maybe people just ignored that for some time before they realized it. I still find Kokomi's heals pretty copium when I compare her to our free 4*, Barbara, especially on her ult, and I still think that her kit is still pretty much all over the place (Getting Hydro dmg from Ascending her, instead of HP%, like ????), but I can't deny she's one of the best Hydro applicators in the entire game, especially for freeze teams and stuff like that (And now with Dendro too, of course).
I love to see them getting more recognition, and I would honestly love to use someone like Xinyan as well, but unfortunately, she's way too bad to use unironically XD. I've tried a lot of build and team comps with her, because I love her design and all of that "rock" stuff that she goes with (And of course I play with JP audio), but yeah, she's one of the few characters I'd say that NEEDED a buff in some way. One can hope that they release an artifact set that brings something to the table and that allows us to use her unironically. But until then, I'll still keep only admiring her when she gets some screen time, like in the Golden Apple Archipelago event XD.
Finally as a yoimiya main this brings a tear to my heart

I did the math and if you used resin refresh from those 680 genesis crystals you would've gotten 80 silver books with worst luck instead of just 25

Im a yoimiya main myself and she’s truly worth it. Despite being more of a semi active player this is how far I built her: she is single crowned(normal attack of course) I use non optimal artifacts which are 2pc crimson 2pc shim and r1 rust but with the help of xingqiu for vape I hit over 30000 dmg from time to time
I have her normal attack crowned and her skill at 9. She’s an amazing dps. Also her burst is now useful because of the new domain guilted dreams. If you use em raiden and xingqiu she dishes out a lot of consistent reactions
