Sangak bread was traditionally the bread of the Persian army. It is mentioned for the first time in the 11th century. Each soldier carried a small quantity of pebbles which at camp were brought together to create the "sangak oven" that would bake the bread for the entire army. It was eaten with lamb kabab.

If you're wondering what's that, they're Rubber tree seeds. They're well known as a great medium to store heat. In fact simply scratching them against wall for 10sec could produce and store heat enough to burn human skin

We do the same in Morocco it’s called: “tafernout” and it’s a staple food in the region of: Souss Massa baked in a clay oven with gravel and it’s so delicious and without oil on gravels, they stick and you remove them with fingers without any precaution 😅 and yes it’s yummy 🤤

@@МарсШайхутдинов-к1б посмотрел в интернете зеленый чай номер 95, произрастает в Китае , а фасуют его в Узбекистане. Другое название этого чая , кок-чой. P.S. Я был 2003 году в Узбекистане три месяца, жил в Ташкенте недалеко от Миробадского рынка, и был в горах или Ангрен или Янгиабад не помню точно, но тот что чуть выше городок. Там бывшая урановая шахта была, закрытая, людей очень мало, а когда-то те месте называли "Швейцарией", мне так местные рассказывали. Я там по спорту был. Мне понравилось, был осень-зима, рынки ваши хороши, да и люди приветливые, не все конечно, но мне понравилось. Восток, дело тонкое.

This is a good take from the traditional Persian bread Sangak, we mostly use pebbles(smaller than these) and we don’t put stones on top instead there’s a flat surface with lots of pebbles on it we put the bread on top and then flip it and ofc we love it crispy and some like it with a sprinkle of sesame.

@@cenk8100 It's made all over Iran now, but It's primarily "Persian" since it was not wide spread throughout country up until the last couple decades, and yet its use is not necessarily limited to Iranian borders (I've heard from some Armenian and Afghan friends that they make them in border regions too)! I remember when I was a kid (back in 70s) each region of Iran had it's own style of bread, for instance not only you couldn't find Sangak, but even Barbari and Taftoon bread once you exited a couple of hundred miles radius of Tehran (e.g. Gilan and Mazendaran provinces)
