How TV stopped the Vietnam War

The television is a sophisticated household appliance that today has become the epitome of propaganda. Like if some news is told on TV, it is almost guaranteed to be a lie.
TV is able to cause moral panic, to form the public opinion desired by the authorities and even to start a war. But we shouldn't be so dramatized. Television is just a tool. And there have been cases in history when it ended wars rather than started them.
For example, it was the TV picture that largely influenced the withdrawal of American troops from Vietnam.
