Thanks for this video! I just tried to put my single cable assembly on my 750 and thought I had messed up. Now I gotta go to hardware store for a drill bit and a metric tap. Thanks for all the great content you guys put out.
When I bought a Dellorto from Rivera/ Primo in 1984 it came with the single throttle cable grips. Used it for Mikuni VM also. Good video for the Honda.
Again thank you for all these simple but clean mods. Can you please make a video on your helmets and how you painted them or where you get them from! A update on my bike ( Idk if you guys remember my last comment ) my shadow is almost murdered out still no hard tail but it's getting there!
This worked perfect on my Shadow 600. Going to attempt this on a 7/8 handle bar on my Virago. Wondering if anyone knows if the tap will be the same size. (ordering 7/8 single throttle cable obviously)
How did this turn out for you? I have a Shadow (which led me to this video) but I also have a Virago project tht came with the deal so I'm curious how this went.
I love you man I keep going I have followed some of your clips and I enjoyed and I have a Harley 400 and I hope to meet you Greetings Mustafa from Iraq
Very informative. I am working on my VT600 right now and I love the de-cluthered look. You have shown how to install this single-throttle assembly well but I have one question. What did you do with the original cables for your kill-switch, starter button?
Sorry, I have a question, my carb on my Honda shadow vt 750 don't running back with one cable throttle. What could be happen? Sorry my English I'm from Costarica.
Just purchase my bike (first one) and the current cable came undone. I believe it’s too short. Can you or anyone else help with a link for a replacement cable? Thanks
Push/pull throttle cable set ups provide more strength so they are less prone to snapping while riding since there is less stress on it. Also provides a more controlled close of the butter fly in the carb. Means less wear and tear.
Whose done this mod in the comments below? I did it and works great, but i have play on my throttle if i move it forward. Is that normal? perhaps my cable is stretched out or something. Any advise/guidance to resolve this issue. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks
The spring on your carb should snap it back but I don't think you should even be able to push it back with if the spring was at fault so maybe something is preventing the handle from moving freely?
How high did you go on the T-bars , curious how high because I'm looking for a brake line for my vlx because I went with 10.5" bars and I can't find a stainless steel braided cable anywhere and idk what length I should get one made at..... thanks in advance ! #DOPESHIT #KEEPUPTHEHARDWORK
for all the boys in europe you can find the part here : www.caferacerwebshop.com/nl/1-twistgrip-zwart.html ordered it last week installed it today it rocks!

This worked perfectly! Thank you. I was going nuts trying to find a single cable throttle housing that fit the stock cable.
I'd like to see you guys picking up some Sporty's and modifying them !
Amazing how easy something looks when you know what you’re doing. I’m going to put out a video on how to F this job up

Make your own push start

what is ur brake lever? thanks for the single cable!
amzn.to/382aMOw
Why Do they come with 2 cables anyway? This seems to work just fine

How do you get so much snap back. I recently did this mod and I have to push my throttle back forward
The spring on your carb should snap it back but I don't think you should even be able to push it back with if the spring was at fault so maybe something is preventing the handle from moving freely?
@@Summerwood777 When you slide it on your bar don't push it all the way to the end
And make sure to lube your throttle cable as well as clutch and brake cable while you're at it
How high did you go on the T-bars , curious how high because I'm looking for a brake line for my vlx because I went with 10.5" bars and I can't find a stainless steel braided cable anywhere and idk what length I should get one made at..... thanks in advance ! #DOPESHIT #KEEPUPTHEHARDWORK
Johnny Hodge 12” for the T bars
@@LNSPLTBLVD where did you get the brake line from , if you don't mind me asking ?
Johnny Hodge it’s stock
Anyone know if this would work on a rebel 250
have you figured out how to keep the rear light activated with by the front brake with a single throttle cable?....... big fan over here as well!
You should keep the 2 black wires, that are attached to the brake lever. Keep them wired to the 9 pin connector
is that the stock cable?
yup stock cables
Wood be nice if u wood have shown how to remove the old housing
Maybe you don't need to be trying this if you can't figure out how to remove the old one. Its really not that difficult man.
Juan Martinez ouch
👍👍👍
