Hi Jade! A little tip for the JUST egg, it really helps putting Kala Namak (Indian black salt) on it. It gives you that sulfur eggy smell/taste you would get with regular eggs. I always put it in my tofu scrambles and it elevates it big time. ❤️

So far in my spooky cooking/baking, I've made pumpkin spice oatmeal cookies so far and pumpkin spice popovers (both of which you can make GF). I'm having ppl over in two weeks, so I plan to make lots of spooky food (cocktail sausages will be "deadman's toes", green Mac and cheese will be "zombie brain casserole" (I dye mine with Spinach puree, and it's very tasty), breasticks in the shape of bones, and I'm making a cake that will hopefully look like a bubbling cauldron. I also have made "spooky spaghetti" made with Aldi's spooky pasta (super fun shapes, but unfortunatelynot GF), and "jack-o-lantern" pizza (pepperoni in a face). I've been having fun with it, and the family has been having fun too. Those egg bites look so amazing!!!

If you're someone like me who enjoys ketchup on eggs, you can take a squirt bottle and use the ketchup to go over the details like the eyes, mouth, nose and such to help them show better. A bit like ginger bread cookies.
You have to use black salt with that egg product. Won’t taste like eggs at all as you know!😂😂 but if you would’ve hit it with a little black salt I bet it would been really good!!
I love using smoked salmon as a bacon substitute. It covers that smokey salty fatty bite that bacon gives stuff. I've been pescatarian for years now and it took me way too long to figure this one out.
If you are using any of the detailed Nordicware bake pans do yourself a favor and get the Bak-klene ZT spray. It was recommended to me by staff when I bought the mini skull cakelet pan from WS. I didn't think I needed it and after several unsuccessful attempts using the pan and everything i cooked in it sticking i went back and bought some. That stuff is amazing!

Even when I dislike a food I can usually finish it so as not to be wasteful, and I've actually never had a vegan mayo I didn't like at all. This was bad enough that I threw away the jar after two uses because it was miserable trying to force myself to eat it just so it wouldn't go to waste.

I have had the worse summer/fall with flies we have had sooo many. I swear we must have holes in our house that they get in. It has become cooler here but still have flies in my kitchen. The spiders have been building webs over the walkway to the basement, but I haven't taken dusted them away because Halloween and I keep hoping they will catch some flies.

We have settled into a nice “pescatarian/ mostly plant based” thing, too. I was ethical vegan for 6 years, but it became difficult the older my child got. We’ve added canned bivalves, some cheeses and got pet chickens for eggs. Also we became more lenient about stuff in junk food. We still stay far away from land animals or larger fish and too much dairy.

As a vegetarian (vegan for 2 years) the just egg makes really good egg bites! My partner will cook veggies to season them, then fill mine with JUSTegg and his with real eggs. I like them both ways the same! Sometimes I can't stomach real eggs and prefer the JUSTegg!!!!
