Saying they moved the needle a tiny bit is just ignorant they had two main holes and they literally filled them.
dallas did so well last summer and this trade deadline.. out of thin air they created a 1st to get Gafford, they kept OMP, Green, Hardy....got rid off Holmes and Grant Williams...amazing
They’ve gotten two firsts out of thin air thanks to OKC. This is why losing the 1st on PJ isn’t so alarming. Teams stocking up on 1sts will eventually have to move them. That’s what we did with OKC yesterday.
Mavs increased rebounding drastically. Grant had the worst rating on the floor out of the entire team. Saying you arent sold is crazy. It cant fail for the mavs

These boys literally just said they don't know if PJ is a better player than Grant Williams, and Daniel Gafford fixes nothing for The Mavericks.... What a way to expose you have no idea what you're talking about 😂
That's extremely foolish of them to say, plus derrick jones jr. and Dante Exum saved their careers playing with Luka and Kyrie, PJ 20 points every night with our back court , Washington , Gafford, and Lively will hand any team their lunch
they went from spencer dinwiddie and c wood with limited assets to having a 2nd star a loaded roster and will have a plethra of picks this summer to trade oh and btw 90% of their core is 25 and below
What are these dudes talking about! Gafford averages 8 rebound in only 27 minutes. How is he a bad rebounder? Derek Lively is the third most important player on the Mavericks as sad as that sounds. When he doesn't play everything goes down the drain. The Mavs are hoping he plays exactly like Lively. That's the selling point.
They sound ignorant. I thought they were analyzing but nope, just assuming. Gafford being a back up will allow this team to stay competitive when Lively isn’t playing. Mavs are a bottom defense without lively, and Gafford is much much better than Holmes in the modern NBA. 7th in the league in blocks per. Great move
Gafford is a better rebounder then Maxi/Powell, Washington a better rebounder then Williams. So Dallas got better in that regard. Both Ars also not worse defensively then the guys they will replace in the Rotation. Even more, cause Maxi can now play more backup PF. We went from a Lively, Kleber, Williams, DJJ C/PF rotation to a Lively, Gafford, Washington, Kleber C/PF rotation. If thats not an upgrade, no clue what is one.

Wow these guys must not know the nba very well. This was huge for dallas. Gafford starts for 1/3 of nba teams. He averages over 2 blocks a game and is averaging 8 rebs a game in 26 mins

PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford with Lively, Green, Hardaway Jr. , Jones Jr, Hardy and the best backcourt of Kyrie , and Luka , still keeping D-Pow, Max-K, O-Max, Exum, and Morris easily the deepest roaster in the NBA
I LIKE GAFFORD & WASHINGTON TO THE MAVS ..
Mavs need to sign Spencer Dinwiddie. He's perfect for Dallas and well respected. Plus S.D knows the system better than any player. He can start at the 3 or come of the bench and rotate at the 1,2, or 3 an still be dominant. He's going to get 10 to 15 points a game with ease. It's the best decision for him and the Mavs.
Exum is better and fits that role
@@vincentgaming1619exum can play 1,2,or 3 as well. They can play together as a bench back court and hoth are capable of playing with Luke or kyrie. Dinwiddie is better than yhj and thats what matters.
@@vincentgaming1619 I don't disagree, but Exum isn't proven in the playoffs and Spencer Dinwiddie is. We have to take into consideration that with Spencer Dinwiddie, the Mavs had their best offensive and defensive season. Even when Luka got injured they took out a top seeded Jazz team. Dinwiddie is a more valuable asset alongside Luka, Kyrie and ThJ because he flourishes in that 2 to 3 man role, plays solid defense and can run a second unit against the best teams without us losing leads because we don't have enough fire power.
Gafford is getting lobs and blocks. He had 5 blocks just couple games backs.
We already have Luka , Kyrie , and Lively all we missing is Gafford and PJ 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Pj in 158 games with lamely is a 37% 3pt shooter let's say he gets 2% Luka bump. that's 39% that's pretty good to me. Gafford is avg 8 boards and almost 2 blocks a game in 26 mins that sounds like a very good back up center
The hornets are trash. Washington will flourish in dallas. And d gaff coming In is a huge refresher for a mavs fan. We've had Dwight Powell for 25 years
Are we not realizing luka and kyrie are alongside pg washington now? Just a little upgrade over the trash the hornets have.
Don't overlook Gafford. He knows how to put up a good screen and create space so Luka and Kyrie will love that whilst also positioning for lobs. Also, Gafford is ranked 7th for blocks per game so he's confident contesting shots and around the rim. The Wizards overlooked and under used Gafford in almost every play and threw maybe 1 lob a game... other than that, Gafford was just a cleanup crew for bad shooting (Kuzma and Poole...). Honestly, Gafford as a backup center is more like a cheat code as he's a good starting center but coming in fresh off the bench... can you say DUNKED ON! I'm confident Gafford won't disappoint in Dallas if he's not overlooked but it seems they have him scouted and have plans to use his skills in a positive and effective way. Oh, and you get me as well, I'm a Gafford ride or die fanboy since college so i'll be dropping the Wizards for Dallas starting today! 😁

Very ignorant takes clearly tells me they dont watch basketball. PJ is huge is better than Grant all round and had more upside and adds size to this team which we needed.
Gafford one of the best bigs in this league talented defensively averaging 2.2BPG 6th in the league legit rim protector great. And is a double double threat every night 7'2 wingspan nearly 7'0 adds the size and defence/rebounding they desperately needed alongside Lively.
The additions moves the need alot for the mavs expecially adding size depth and improving the froncourt to one of the best frontcourt depth in the league now..

At this point all these Podcast / RUclips shows are laughable. They ignore the Mavs all season, don’t actually follow the team nor watch the games then all of the sudden, when the Mavs are involved in a trade, they just skim through a few stat sheets to render “expert” opinions. 🤣🤣🤣
