Jay you are 100% correct!! Everything that you are working on R&D wise will be greatly appreciated and needed in market place!! And the fact that you are willing to put the time, energy and money into it speaks volumes!! Plus made in the good old U.S.A.!!🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
I'm glad I got my RVMB TB kit! Thanks guys!! My trans went together beautifully. Used yr clutches, overhaul kit, the forward piston, etc. I intend to email ya for a C4 converter in a month or two. I appreciate everything you guys do and all your patience
Dang,I was interested in sending my 67 c-4 into you for a freshing up. Possibly thinking about one of your A.O.D.'s for my car. I like your work ethics and expertise. But I get it. Today is the 19th, lol. Appreciate the update.
If you want good work and you want it right then you gotta be patient! Good work takes time. And the logistics companies know they got you by the balls when they got your gear! How do I apply for a job?
Im still checking the site often for this new c4 valvebody! I just might have to get a 70+ case! The adjustable brake rpm sounds perfect. Especially since my converter is to tight.
R&D is critical to building business..I work in a make ready industrial caster shop as a fabricator. Up here in Michigan we totally get it. Shits scary brother. Everyone is still having problems sourcing components big time especially bearings. We gotta damn near go out of state for forgings and stuff..things suck
Will the existing orders still ship? I placed an order for a C4 in early September, I’ll receive my converter today. I’ll drive to pick it up if I need to, thank you sir for everything you do.
Jay, I remember back in 2016 when I shipped a C-6 to you from Maine. You told me ahead of time all the BS Dogpile trucking would do, and you were right. I paid extra for a liftgate truck, didn't get one, and they charged me anyway. Then you signed up for a FedEx(I think) business account and the first thing they did was ship the trans back to me in 2 days (Texas to Maine!!) and billed you like $1,800 bucks. Sorry shipping is still a nightmare.... Matt
Tough question. 600hp roughly with that kind of torque. Its hard to say. I have a friend who races a 521 and he has been running our C4 for years without any issues. Footbrake car.
Oh man we talked a few months back and I don't want anybody else building my transmission but you I'm in Northern California in the process of putting a new high performance engine in my 66 mustang and was hoping to get a transmission from you I do have one to send you I would be happy to pay transmission and shipping in advance I'm talking May next year hopefully like you said this might not last forever
Manufacturing has been upside down for some time now. The consolidation can be good but not when big companies own it all. This goes across all industries. I work in a large fleet and it affects all aspects of what gets done and what is available.
Too bad you can't set up a class. Offer a school for some of us to fly there and learn some stuff for a week. I know I'd pay for that. I live in a small town with no talented transmission people available.
Ive thought about it a few years back but it would take a lot to make it happen and Im not convinced there would be much interest. I had a friend do a Powerglide school about 20 years ago and he didnt get much interest to keep going.
Jay you just pressed on the brake pedal regarding the company! Way wrong thinking! You need to broaden your mind and either bring in an employee or cooperate with someone. Working alone will not give you any leverage in sales or product development….
I don't totally disagree with you but we have gone through many employees over the years and long story short, we have decided to stay small. It's a quality of life choice. Maybe if I were younger.

Like I said I think this is a temporary change just so I can get caught up. We will keep you guys updated.
Been buying parts and getting invaluable experience from you for the past year. Appreciate you and totally understand where you're at.
Thanks for your support. Glad it's been helpful.
Like the old saying goes, things worth having are worth waiting for!
I certainly don’t mind the wait

How do I apply for a job?
Time it takes that is for sure. Your right about the trucking companies as well.
Im definitely in on a 2nd gear leave and dump for my c6. This trans you built is holding up awesome behind my turbo sbf.
It’s Brady I’m definitely in on that 4r70 transbrake. Ready for it 😁
Hi Brady, I should be able to get you fixed up over the winter break.
@@BroaderPerformance hell yeah. Can’t wait. I know u and Josh have talked about it.

Still looking forward to purchasing one of the forward pattern/transbrake C4 valvebodies when they hit the market!
Thank you we appreciate that.
God bless you Jay. Wish you nothing but the best. Wish i could help you out somehow
Thank you. We appreciate the support.

Bolt together converters for Fords would be BADASS
I feel your pain Brother!
Thanks.
I don't know if they still do or not but Neal Chance made bolt together convertors for Ford. I know of a few monstertruck guys running them.
I’m 100% in on the 2nd gear leave c6 TB and pretty sure I’ll get the C6 forward pattern TB deal for my dad’s truck.
Awesome. I hope to have something ready for next race season.

Yes existing orders will be shipped and fulfilled.

Hi Matt, yes some things never change. Haha
Adjustable converter dump , wound help alot of turbo cars 😊
For sure. I need to move that up on the priority list. It could work for all transmissions.
In for that as well 😁
Can you make me a 2nd gear leave trans brake for my C4 for my no prep car please thx 🙏🙏
I can. It should be available soon.
Ill definitely buy a 3nd gear leave reverse pattern
Jay did you work with Harold at dynamic in C.T. back in the 90s??
I did not. I didn't get into this until 2000 or so.
Jay, How much power can a max built c4 take (and live) behind a 533 in a 3300lb vehicle?

Like I said this is just a temporary thing until after the first of the year. I really want to get caught up and start producing some new items.
What if someone arranges for their own shipping?
Id be open to that after the first of the year.
the last 700r4 I did cost 2500 with upgrades to make it last, thasts my cost man I was very surprised,I apoligized to the customer its crazy
I know when you actually sit down and add up all the nickels and dimes it's heart breaking.
Gerald Brand mentioned how hard it is to get good workers in one of his videos.
For sure. I'm so tired of taking the time to train guys for them to leave in a month. We think for right now we want to remain small.
I wish would someone do a bell for the C6..
I have an idea for that as well I need to get after.
great time for American companies that sold out to step up and make parts here again
Amen brother
Never asked where you are, massachusetts a guess ?
He's located in Texas, originally from Mass
We started in ma and are now in Texas

The automotive aftermarket is slowly but surely becoming a monopoly. Not a good thing for the consumer or small business.
@@BroaderPerformanceIndeed not so as the big companies then own it all.

I have 3 c6 valve body cores I would sell

Maybe instead of working on new products you should work on developing human cloning so that you can duplicate yourself.
It's a good idea but with 2 of me in the shop we would drive each other crazy. Haha
@@BroaderPerformance run it past your gal pal and see what she thinks.
.. i'd rather have my C6 than a truckload of Any new transmission .. 👨🔧🧰
C6 is a solid unit for sure.
