Congratulations to Dr. McCarty for receiving Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s 2023 Carl A. Grote, Jr. M.D. Outstanding Physician Advocate award! The Outstanding Physician Advocate Award is named in honor of Dr. Carl Grote, Jr., who practiced medicine at Huntsville Hospital for many years, and whose leadership and generosity are legendary. Dr. McCarty demonstrates a sincere and caring concern for his patients, is an advocate for quality health care practices, and is a generous philanthropist. He was presented with the award and surprised with this video at Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Societies of 1895 & 2012 Major Donor reception in January.
