Great vid Jim! They are really nice guns, very accurate and powerful. One of my customers picked up the .22 Long Range and loves it, hole on hole accuracy. After seeing this I will probably bring in some .30s as well..
Yes, getting closer! Thank you, I'll be happy to reach that goal! I'm trying to get more consistent with my video output, as that helps drive numbers. To be honest, it's been hard. Besides writing regular columns in Predator Xtreme, Outdoor Life, and Air Gunner.... along with other freelance work, I have a professional life and do a lot of international travel. But I'm doing my best to get more material out there and really appreciate everyone that's been so supportive.

I’m always amazed at the amount of Fox squirrels you have when you go hunting. Here in southern Indiana on my farm we mainly have grey squirrels. Before I was crushed in a auto accident I loved to hunt squirrels with a 22 pistol. Now I’m in a power wheelchair and miss not being able to go into woods. I enjoy your videos
Hi Edward, when I returned back to the States about 20 years ago, after a short stint in California (where I was born), work brought me to Indiana. We lived in Carmel for 10 years and I hunted all over the state. I found areas thick in grey squirrel, thick in fox squirrel, and occasionally an equal mix. I do like those fox squirrel, which is my favorite next to Aberts squirrels.
You've got a great collection going! I lived in Gouda for several years and there were rabbits and pheasant everywhere, but you couldn't hunt. Is that still the case?
I have the RTI performance in .30 and love it. Once the new reg settled it's been crazy accurate and steady FPS. 44.8g @960fps, 50.1g @930fps. Laser accurate lubed pellets, clean barrel it's deadly out to 100 yards.
I had a volunteer manning the camera, that must have bumped into the tripod. I didn’t see it until I got home….. was bummed, was a text book shot and I could see the pellet drop
If you have several squirrels in your target aea shoot one and wait. Don't get up and pick him up. Just reload for the next shot. The first one won't go anywhere if you got him on the first shot. You can sometimes get several at one sit. Looks like a good gun. Have been looking at a gas piston .25 by HW. I have so many Predator Heavies in .25. ... That or the much more expensive Leshiy II in .30. Good hunt and Be Well.
That’s good advice. On this property, which I use for short hunts before work, I limit myself to two or three squirrels or a couple hours, whichever comes first. If I was hunting for numbers I’d do more waiting and less walking. Thanks for sharing, it’s good advice!

Excellent video, would of liked to see the scope cam footage of the pigs. Could you take a pig with a 22? What would you say is the minimum fpe to take a pig
Thanks Tyrone, I am on my way back down to Texas after the SHOT Show in January to hunt hogs. This time will use the scope cam on my smaller caliber gun.
Hello Heith...... thats a big question! I don't have so much experience with the Delta Wolf, but I do have other Daystate rifles that are exceptional on many levels, and also think my Impact, Maverick, Wildcat(s), and Crown are some of the best guns ever. I think I will beg off an answer right now, this is a topic I want to do a video on. Short answer, almost every Daystate and FX rifle I've used are outstanding, and the Prophet stands out with them! Sorry for the cop out!
I am not a big fan of the large exposed bottle like that, esp for a klutz like me. I am liable to trip fall & damage the bottle & or rifle while out & about in the woods. So far I still really like the interchangeable cylinders on my AT44qe long in .25 . But with that being said, this is a nice-looking rifle for the various small to med-sized game hunts.
We can hunt small game with .177, .22, and .25. We can hunt deer with .357 or larger. .30 caliber got forgotten somehow and we can only hunt non-game animals like coyote and groundhog.
Depends on where you are, I would guess from the description it's Texas? I think you can use a .30 there, but it has to be generating over 215 fpe which is possible but not easy with a .308. I would love to be able to use it on javalina and think that would be the perfect set up.
It really is. What I really love about this one is the RTI guys had it customized with my logo... that was a complete surprise, and it makes a great gun that much more special!
