When the Rams traded for Von. Sean Mcvay told him "You're not here for November. You're here for January". I think the Bills are finally using him the way they should've in '22. He's playing well now and will have fresh legs for the playoffs. They'll get the most production from him this way IMO.
Aaron this is really good stuff. IMO the he's had a decent showing so far and much improved from last year. Von still has enough to contribute effectively for another year or so
at 11:43, this seems to be more of an example of Von running past the QB? I'm just a common fan, but wouldn't his role be to keep him from ejecting right?
He's pressuring the QB at the top of his drop, he's not being washed well beyond the QB. I think that pressure causes Purdy to be forced to move. Nobody is in the rush lane which creates more space. But I think here von is doing well.
I'm really hopeful our pass rush is going to jump to another level of consistency during the playoffs when the reigns on Von's snap count loosens up. I feel like more than anyone, Von is going to be hungry to show the league he's still that guy in big game moments
Aaron what concerns me is his effort on some plays. If you watch vin miller micd up you can see he gave up on some plays and didn’t finish. One in particular when mahomes ran out of the pocket to his right Von had an opportunity to sack him had he continued with the play. He just stopped and watched mahomes throw the ball. Just my observation
Hopefully they rest him for the next few games so he can bring the juice when it really matters in the playoffs. Im not really interested in keeping him around next year, but that has more to do with his off field issues and cap hit. Hopefully he can help us win a SB and then move on.
Gotta cut him next year regardless. There's a good amount of dead money, but i still believe it'll give us 8-9 million in cap space in the process though. It's a really shitty free agent edge class though, so i think they probably won't be able to earmark that money toward a younger established pass rusher to replace him unfortunately. I hope they draft a fast twitch speed rusher in the 2nd round next year.
I have 0 qualms about how Von is playing this year. That said, cap wise I can't see them keeping him next year unless he takes a big pay cut, but that's a discussion for March.
This is in the running for greatest insult/compliments I've ever received. Somebody once said "you look like Josh Allen if he got the Captain America treatment in reverse"
Before the suspension I believe he had a sack in every game but 1. Seems like his pressures and sacks are coming with the bullrush. He cant do that every down but hes making a difference when we need it. I would rather see him than Epanesa.
Greg Rousseau should play in Vons spot. This maximize s Rousseau value to the defense. He dominated there in preseason. I don't know why they move him inside.
What value do you place on his leadership and locker room presence? If it’s just an analytical evaluation, find best available valued such player! It’s a subjective question, at best, which drives content
He probably cant play that many snaps though because hes old and has had a bunch of injuries; he may be only productive in a limited role like this unfortunately
This conversation can be without salary talk. Look at Greg Rousseau and what we are paying him per sack per pressure. Then put Vonn’s dollars per sack per pressure. Not even in the same ball park. We have guys that are gonna be paid next year Christian Bamford Bernard, Josh Ireland we can’t afford to waste money on a person like Von Miller
IDK I think you put salary cap by position into buckets. Those are things I honestly don't care that much about. And SACKS alone aren't a stat that matters as much to me as pressures. Also, if he gets sacks/pressures in the playoffs then the value is there.
Thanks for watching. Do you have any data or anything to show that he's "washed". I don't think he's PRIME Von Miller anymore. I do think he's better than everyone not named Groot on the Bills DL.

Thanks for checking it out! Yea I agree, he's not prime VON, but still better all around than the guys below him.
Love this new series!
Thanks for checking it out! Go Bills!
I'm more concerned with the run D then our pass. Guys are more mobile but some not big/strong enough to fill the needed gaps
Loving this series. Keep it up!
@@fahqkitty thanks so much!
Another great show

It's really important that Groot, Ed, and Von are all playing at high levels in January this year.
@@AaronQuinndon't forget AJ!
Hope they unleash him in the playoffs
Wouldn't say he's washed but he's not worth the money, but we're stuck with him now.
Ain't nobody STUCK with Von Miller. If he's not in Buffalo, he'd be on another contender.
Bills need more Miller . hopefully in the playoffs
A few critical plays from Von in the playoffs would be nice. Like you said, 75% Von is better than most pass rushers.

My concern is when vonn makes a long outside loop against Lamar and mahomes, which allows them to escape to their right where they are so dangerous
IMO, he’s being used just enough in the regular season to keep him from getting “rusty” and will be unleashed in the postseason
You look like Great Value brand Josh Allen

I think his presence in the locker room matters A LOT.
@ We’re gonna need the best VM going forward to get a Lombardi
our d line is so bad a washed von miller seems decent
That's definitely a way you could view something if you wanted.
Do we tell AQ what glazing means or do we just keep letting him say it? 😏
I'm hip! I'm cool!
Please show me 10 good Von Miller plays in 24?
So... you didn't watch? Thanks for the comment either way though!
For the playoffs, its dead simple now. Pass rush success = superbowl, superman17 will take care of the rest.
He probably cant play that many snaps though because hes old and has had a bunch of injuries; he may be only productive in a limited role like this unfortunately
