The worst is if two of my npc's have to interact with each other. Trying to explain who's talking while roleplaying them.
That's what I thought would happen I was clearly wrong
If there are several NPCs interacting in the scene, you can just describe what they are talking about from the author's perspective. If needed, you can choose one of them for role-playing.
As someone that can't do voices, and is 50 sessions deep in a homebrewed Waterdeep Dragon Heist with 100+ npcs.... I feel attacked and validated at the same time. Thank you?
I love the completely sincere expression when doing the Italian accents. I have trouble not laughing at myself when doing silly accents in the game, but I've told my party at least one character in the campaign will sound like Borat just to annoy them. They won't know when, but I wanted them to have this Sword of Damocles hanging over them.
