- After watching the absolute animals in ranked on EU I took out the Belfast, for the first time in probably 4 years. How did you play this thing again?

One of the most pressing questions for me this season: I get why people are bringing a Scharnhorst to ranked. But why are they brining them to... you know... kite into the sunset?
Probably saw someone else run the ship and thought it was ship issue when it was actually skill issue
They want to save their star prob
Scharnhorst is a good kiter if you have the ennemy in secondary range, and it actually gets better results in fights if you do so, also the AP is so innacurate its HE is better while kiting. OFC sometimes you have to push, but I don't think Scharny is best at pushing, esp with no hydro.

AP is because 283s don't overmatch much even at tier, Scharn AP is for broadsides and super-light cruisers only
Good flanker if you do have the advantage and another BB, speed lets it flank quickly, armor is solid enough not to get easily focused down, and you start being able to profitably use the AP more.
I would mostly agree with you, if it was a Random Battle. But since I specifically mentioned this current ranked season where I see Scharnhorst players kiting basically every single game, I still stick to my point. I agree that this ship is really good in kiting with the secondary as well and you can get back into action with that speedboost pretty easily. But usually ranked matches are over much much sooner, getting too far away from the action is a bigger deal than in random. And in flamu's case you saw with that guy that kiting if done wrong is just as useful as rushing in headlessly.@@matthiasdarrington3271
Maya entered the match, did nothing until he saw the Ashitaka push and then instantly give broadside to torp and blow up without landing any torpedoes. Is disturbing how players fail on the very basic things.

Idk if other people get this but my mm regularly puts teams of people around 45% win rate against 55% win rate and so many games are blowout, there was once a guy with 38% win rate on my team, safe to say we didn't win and I think I'm developing hypertension from wows
That kind of shifts back and forth. But certainly in 1 day you can get all the bad teammates and another day good ones.
So basicly if its a crap day it will not get any better.
I've noticed it too, although it's just rng since MM doesn't give a shit about win rate at all.
Just couple days ago I had a match so bad I had to check win rates, enemies had multiple 55%+, while I had 3 player below 40%, crown jewel was a guy with 34% ranked in 400 battles, who saved a star because enemy just fed him xp at the end, literally hugging a secondary ship.
It's just depressing to say the least.
Belfast was my favorite ship for a long time.

The OG Belfast is still such a pain to deal with, I don't have one, so I take a Surrey into ranked instead (very underrated ship).
In one game, we killed everything, but the Belfast, after unleashing hell from his smoke, he put up the white flag and just sat there to die quick. But even just sitting there doing nothing, he was a lot harder to kill than you would expect a smoke cruiser to be and was still harder to kill than some of his active moving teammates.
I think WG sprinkled some magic RNG dust on that premium.
Isn’t surrey an he spammer that has terrible range, crappy armor, and no disengage with its horrible speed?
@ghostdog8012 It has a great heal for T7 and can outspot light cruisers. Also has great HE, torpedoes, and hydro.
It is equally good against all classes, which means it can multi role if someone in your team is a dudd.

One of my biggest regrets when it comes to wows is not buying this thing when you still had the chance, i dont even care that its op i just think its a crying shame that you cant obtain such an icon (we are NOT talking about the '43 version i prefer to pretend that travesty doesnt exist)

Holy jesus what are these teammates? I think you, the dd, and the Scharn at the end were the only helpful teammates. If the opposing dd hadn't come out from behind the island to get killed, this would've been a definite loss.
I still affectionately call mine the Payfast, even though its not that strong anymore.
Belfast is my favorite ship on this tier in ranked. Save to carry idiots and if they die rly fast or do other useless crap a save star. Seeing what his team is doing in that battle is the daily shitshow u get....

Tbh. For all AL skins out there. Royal Navy and Iron Blood are by far the best Azur Lane skins. Love Queen Elizabeth’s skin. Also using her as a commander just to play as Queen Elizabeth also funny. I can order people around somehow.
Wish to see camo AL Musashi in the game. It will looks cooler than Black Friday camo.
Anyway, I hate players who literally this dented. Like too dumb to understand the positioning and not knowing your ship class before hand. Oh and sometimes I hate people who disable Voice Commands, I know it is quite annoying if people spam it but they are by far the greatest tool on the shed. Toxicity always going to be in video games, people have to realized this and adapt to it.
If this was any other video game i'd say "oh yeah it's bronze, they are bad"
but this is world of warships, the thinking man's action game so instead i say "oh yeah they are playing wows in 2024, what do you expect?"
One of the reasons I quit WOWS after a gazzilion years playing, well maybe two as one. Way too tired of having teammates being a poster child, for dumb and dumber, and stupid and useless. 😱😂 Since quitting, my stress level, is none existent.🤔All my ships are now in dry dock, and the 🧢 captains are free to chase all the rum and hookers that they please.

This tier 6/7 ranked season has brought together some of the worst players I have ever seen in this game...
Also, a Belfast that doesn't explode in under 3 minutes, is that even allowed?

@crapmalls Yep, same here. Yesterday I ragequit after losing 5 times in a row in my WV 44. Great ship, but kind of helpless if the rest of the team (especially the DDs) suicides.
@@blackyyy3292WV 44 can be a strong ship in ranked but sadly if you end up in a really bad team (which happens very often in ranked), you can’t dodge, kite when needed or reposition to help your braindead teammates. That’s why I always prefer fast ships in ranked

Played nothing but Belfast. Went 12-0 to start. High caliber just about every game. then started getting teamed with the tards. 0-5 since

The game struggles with the same problems as the other WG Titles "WOTB and WOT", experienced and good players left the game and bad oldschool players and new players are the ones playing right now. The Majority of the playerbase is "BAD".

It makes the game know to put them on your team next match.

Ok? Different servers, different outcomes I guess. If i played my Belfast like that on the Asian server i would have been nuked from blind fire within one or two salvos. How you could sit there in the open without every enemy player focussing you... surreal. And the Belfast doesn't inflict damage either, it just takes it, so... Yeah, highly unrelateable vid, frankly.
Maybe some of the stupidity you see in some players actually comes down their experiences and what they've been groomed to expect. Remember, this is a game of luck more than anything, and it's that game that assigns the luck... somehow .
We play the only server that camping 20km all game sniping and still have someone able got dev strike. What do you expected lol
