My sister is a metro school teacher and lives up there. Nashville has become Loud, dirty and crowded. I live in a "gated " community in "Brentioch", and over the last 3 years here I've watched this neighborhood's crime rate soar. I believe Clarksville has become a peaceful retreat for those who need that sort of lifestyle and it will be people like yourself that will help to create a more suitable living environment in Clarksvilles future 😊

We have lived all over the US, including Texas, Nevada, Oregon, North Dakota, Florida and Illinois. Clarksville, Tennessee is our favorite place we have ever lived and we plan on living here for the rest of our lives. There is a reason it has been named the top city to move to in America twice in the last 5 years!

For its weak points,it truly is a quiet, beautiful place to live if that is the kind of quiet lifestyle one wants to live. I for one can't wait to get out of Nashville and it's chaotic vibe

I grew up there. I agree with everyone you said. It's a beautiful city, but I believe one day in the near future it will get better. People are moving into Nashville and surrounding areas and things are booming. Even Nashville is struggling to adjust. As surrounding cities begin to flourish, so will Clarksville I believe.

Clarksville would be a much better place to live if we had better medical care. I never see anyone mention that aspect in any of these videos. Gateway or Tenova, as they changed the name to, is subpar at best. Besides needing a better option, we really need at least one more hospital to cover the amount of residents here.
Another thing that I hear a lot of people asking for are sidewalks! It's nearly impossible to safety walk anywhere for lack of sidewalks. Some of the newer neighborhoods are installing them, but the majority of the town and neighborhoods do not have them.
All in all, I think Clarksville is a great town, especially for people who like to be outdoors and have kids.

Thanks for that insight. That is something I need to cover in future videos. You are correct, the increase in population growth requires the same increase in Health Care options.

I agree. I don't know why they tore Gateway hospital down on Madison Street and move it way out by the mall. I believe Clarksville is big enough for two hospitals and they should have kept that branch open

Said like a true salesman. 180k and growing is far from small town. The infrastructure is 10 years behind and Clarksville was recently #6 on worst cities to commute to or from. The rapid building of 300-900 lot Tennessee trailer parks errr, housing developments have stressed every part of the infrastructure. The nightlife consists of dodging bullets as crime is starting to rival Nashville and Memphis. Nashville 45 mins away is very optimistic in either direction at any time of day other than the wee hours of the morning.
The positive thing about Clarksville is there are a great many good people here who do care, unfortunately they are a minority but they are here. Clarksville resident since 2016.

You named off a bunch of stuff, but what you didn't mention the smell. That God awful smell. If starts when the sun starts to go down. It completely permeates the air for a mile on both sides of the river. It's a VERY strong, vile smell. The smell from the river continues until sun rise. It totally destroys the enjoyment of any nightlife downtown.

Sewage Is dumped in the River so in the summer it does smell. But it’s localized to one 2mile stretch of Riverside Dr. It’s not city wide .
