One of my favorite singer songwriters spanning many decades. I had so many of his records. He had tons of hit songs. "I Am, I Said" is almost an autobiography of his life & fame. He wrote the song "I'm A Believer" which became a big hit for the Monkees in 1966. That song was later used in the movie Shrek & sung by Smash Mouth. I was privileged to see him in concert twice. He was a great showman & his live performances were memorable.

He sold 130 million albums, sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world and received numerous awards. He has a huge catalogue to choose from: try Holly Holy, Brooklyn Roads, Soolaimon, Solitary Man, Dry Your Eyes, Beautiful Noise, America, or even more recent songs like Delirious Love, Nothing But A Heartache, Hell Yeah...
I'm 60. One of my earliest memories is my dad listening to this song....I'm guessing it must have been around 1968, when it came out. I've loved Neal Diamond's voice my entire life.

You're very expressive and it's nice to watch. I had some trouble hearing you speak, though, with my volumes at highest level (just FYI). From the way you react to the song I get the feeling your comments would be interesting to hear. Anyway, some more Neil Diamond: America (my personal fave), Sweet Caroline (most other peoples' fave), Love on the Rocks, Hello Again, Heartlight (haven't heard any reactor do this), You Don't Bring My Flowers (a duet with Barbra Streisand - - fun fact: they went to high school together and were both in the school chorus).
