Great review. Since they are making the blast effects modular, hopefully down the road, they release a blast effects kit that we can use for Bazooka, snow serpent, hiss tank, etc.
For diorama purposes, NSA: No Stands Allowed, if yuo're just displaying them on a shelf, go on and do it cause every time you walk by or use a door they will fall over and that is because of the larger scale and added weight. They are. a bit top heavy esp with backpacks on.
The Bazooka is a Semi stylized version of a Karl Gustav Recoiless rifle. And yes that distinct swing out rear section is how they are still reloaded to this day. It’s a weapon system that has been constantly upgraded since it’s introduction in the late 1940’s post WW2. Modern versions are used by almost every Western Nation, and have been used to devastating effect in the current Ukrainian conflict. The “Bazooka actually looks very correct. The ammo for it is completely wrong. The modern ammo for it, and it has a ton of special purpose ammo, looks more akin to a modern tank round or artillery shell. Like a big bullet that slides in the back.
I enjoy your GI Joe Classified reviews but whenever you display the articulation of the figures, I notice you never move the legs forward on the hip-joint. Is this because you're afraid of putting stress on the hip-joints if they're gummy and are waiting to apply shock-oil off-screen? I know I've had my problems with gummy hip-joints - my Outback's left leg completely sheared off!
Thank you. No reason other than I just don’t think of it. I have never added anything to my figures to loosen or tighten, if I did I would certain let everyone know that I do. I know some are a little gummy but I haven’t had any issues yet with them breaking like that.
Why are some of your video in HDR and other's not? Just a question not complaining. I think the drop down hinges are useless it just makes the figure more fragile.
I’m not sure. I know some of my older videos were don’t on an iPhone 8. I do most in 1080 and 60 frames right now. Every now and then I put in in 4K but it takes so long to load I don’t think it’s worth it. Long answer, I don’t know 😂😂😂 I’m with you on the drop down hips.
@Apunkwithtoys the hole don't seem to be deep enough for the peg. Or I cut the peg. When I have time I'll mess with mine. After I do ill report back so you can do the same. I got mine yesterday, Was a little disappointed that the left leg boot was not seating properly just like the arms on some of the other figures this year. But not just randomly popping off at least. He also had a bent Carl Gustave recoiless rifle.🤬🤬 I still wish he came with the 100ish? mm recoliess rifle shells instead of bazzoka rockets and some type of side arm or small rifle (how does he protect himself?). The recoless rifle could also do with the sitting scope but Its ok the way it is I guess. Maybe Bazzoka is so good with heavy weapons he can fire antitank weaponry like a shotgun? 😂😂 Otherwise I kinda like him. Probably cause I love heavy weapons guys and I finally have one in 6 inch (road block doesn't count as I find the weapons they gave him comical). I have modified him already though. I gave him the vest and leg hoster of gernades from the first release of Gung Ho. I really hated that figure and the vest and gernades look much better on Bazooka. He can at least defend himself with some gernades now. 😂😂 I got the retro Gung Ho as well yesterday and he's a much better figure in everyday over the first release Gung Ho. Not really a fan of the cyan clothing but that's a minor thing in comparison. I've turn first release Gungho into my creepy woody's riding gimp. 😂😂 He now carries creepy woody around piggy back style with a 40 in each hand. 😂😂
I can’t tell if it’s just an optical illusion or what (haha) but it seems like the 14 on yours breaks up a little more than some of the other Bazooka’s I’ve seen reviewers post But again I might be trippin
He kinda looks like Freddie Mercury to me. You brought up a good point those rocket effects should come with the figure or as a $3 pack.

I was never a fan of Bazooka because of the cartoon. They made him to be a bit of a stunad. I'm not sure if he is that way in the comics.

The paint app on his face isn't perfect. I have hair bleed/recess in some areas as well as on his 'tache that will require some touching up.
So pissed about his leg. I'm gonna drill the hole deeper and see if that works. Looks like it's too shallow.
There’s just something really off about it and I’m not sure what it is. Hopefully we don’t see too many of these issue continuing.
