- AD Gifted Stay. Hey, welcome back to our channel. We're back at our favourite caravan site, Back of Beyond in Dorset. We filmed this video in October 2022 when we returned for a short getaway. This time we were able to do a couple of things we didn't manage to do on our first trip, things which help to make Back of Beyond our favourite caravan site!
This time round we put in our order for freshly baked pastries to enjoy with breakfast, a great way to start the day. And in the evening we rented a fire pit, settled in with some hot spiced cider and tucked into some s'mores over an open fire.
This stay was kindly gifted by Back of Beyond.
As we get out more and more in our new caravan, we want to make lots more vlogs to show the sites we stay at and some of the things to do around them. There are lots more places on our list and if you know of somewhere you think we should try, please let us know in the comments.

We are here on night 5 of our stay, all thanks to you 😊 the pack is enjoying the woodland walk and the doggy ice cream and the happy hour at 4pm 😏
There's so many nice things to do and see around here and after all that, we hit some farm shops and the brewery in Ringwood. Life could be so much worse😅

@@MacSarah we are usually more spontaneous with our campsites but it's the first trip with our new rescue pups so I used your videos as research. My husband says it's turned into the Mac and Sarah trip😅 we've hit the bat n ball as first stop after the Eurotunnel, will venture into Cornwall tomorrow and finish off at one cat farm. Thank you so much for all the great recommendations!

Ah the awning... great question. It's a Kampa Raily Air Pro 260. It's a brilliant awing and has done us proud for 2 years. We bought it 2nd hand on eBay and got a bargain. But in all honesty, it could do with being a tad bigger, the 300 maybe (although that would have been too big for our tiny first caravan ). However, can definitely vouch for the quality of the range 👍

We've just got back from a week at BOB.........great site, very friendly and helpful staff, but no warnings about banging your head on the caravan window when standing up after looking in the storage locker.......THREE TIMES!!!....... whilst we were there we also visited: Kingston Lacy House, Corfe Castle, Swanage, Milford on Sea ( via the New Forest), Bournemouth, Blandfordforum and Wimborne. Blessed with blue skies every day and a light breeze - fabulous, including the delicious pizza as per your recommendation.
We are off to Shropshire for a week at the end of July and then the Severn Valley again for a week in late August.

@@MacSarah Hi guys.....no lumps on my head.......it's full of concrete anyway!!!......we like to explore, and on this occasion packed quite a bit in to the middle days of our stay there.......kept the last day free to relax on site before packing up the next morning and heading back home. Love the content, keep it up.

It really does feel like a nice French site, it's so lovely. Well, we would love to do some further afield trips, but our Doggo is getting in a bit now and we need to be mindful of long trips. What is the access like for getting in from the main rd please.
Ah great news. It's easy enough. It's quite a quick left turn after the roundabout. The access road is fine, it's shared with another caravan site just before BOB, just carry on past that on the right.

Oh thank you so much!! We use a Cannon M50 with a selection of lenses. We also have a GoPro which we use occasionally 🙂

On a recent visit to corfe castle a local told us that the horses in the field behind the houses were put there while waiting to be sent to France to be slaughtered for meat . We're absolutely disgusted if this is true . Anyone know if its so .
